Davina’s Pov:-
I watched him walking towards the door hurriedly, it made me feel suspicious but I didn’t think much about it. I fed April and walked to my room, the whole day I kept thinking about it, what was the surprise?
In the evening, I showered April, dressed her up and combed her hair. She looked like a doll, I kissed her cheek and smiled at her.
“You are so beautiful,” I complimented,
“Thank you,” She smiled at me, I lifted her up and placed her on my bed, I turned back and began to get ready.
I still couldn’t pull myself out of the trance, I can’t believe that I confessed my feelings to him, that I love him too. After seeing how worried I got when he didn’t come back home, I questioned myself what if he doesn’t come back? Will I be able to live without him? I felt so scared and worried that I realised that I can’t.
I can’t live without him.
Although, after I was betrayed in love, I never thought I would fall in love again, but I did. Arthur made me fell for him. I have decided that I have to give myself a second chance, He truly loves me, it was clear in his eyes and I love him too.
“You’re pretty,” I heard April telling me from behind,
I turned and smiled at her, “Thank you, my doll,”
I was in a short tulle pink Dress which had a cute pleated V-neck, I had done my makeup, applied red lipstick, I let my hair down. I was looking really attractive in this dress, it reached my thighs and showed off my legs. I wore my black heels, took my handbag, and led April with me to the downstairs.
As I made my way outside, Mike was already standing near the car. Seeing us, he opened the car door and I help April get in and I got inside behind her. He drove from the mansion, I kept staring at the sunset and busy streets of New York City.
God! I missed it,
He drove us to a harbour and opened the car door for us. I was so confused, why are we here?
I got out after April and looked around, “Follow me, Miss Ellis,” he asked and led us towards a luxury yacht. We got onto it and saw Arthur, “Welcome,” he said to us and gestured to someone to start. We began to move into the water, the sun was completely down.
He told me that this is his private Yacht and also gave us a tour, April was so excited and happy. After that, we had an amazing dinner together in the middle of a lake, it was so beautiful. Sitting under the moonlight, having dinner with the most important people of my life.

“Arthur… what is it?” I asked with a little impatience, he hid my eyes and was leading me somewhere.
I was so curious to see what it was, “Here it comes,” he said and opened my eyes,
All of a sudden firecrackers began to lit up the sky forming letters in the sky which said WILL YOU MARRY ME? it was so beautiful. It had different colours and was beautifully lit up in the sky. I was so amazed and speechless, I was so happy to see it, I turned to him and saw him on his knees.
He had a box which had a beautiful ring inside it, my eyes moved beside him and saw April and Coop standing with a board in their hands which said, PLEASE MARRY HIM. I covered my mouth and tears filled my eyes.
I quickly nodded my head, “Yes,”
Immediately he stood up and hugged me, tears were rolling down my eyes in happiness. He pulled back and stared into my eyes, “I love you,” he said,
“I love you too,” I claimed his lips, we kissed each other and Mike took photos of us, I was surprised to see Nadia on the board. She was so happy that I said yes, she couldn’t express her happiness and had tears.
He placed the ring on my finger, and I was on cloud nine. Everyone on the yacht congratulated us and we enjoyed this movement, took plenty of photos with each other.
A few days back, I never thought I would fall in love and would have my happiness back. I never thought that I would fall in love with Arthur, whom I hated. My life had been filled with sorrow that I doubted will I ever have that happiness in my life again?
Ever?
I thought there was no place for love in my life after what I had been through.
But life is all about second chances, nothing stays forever. If we had bad days, we will have good days as well. We just need to be patient and wait for the right time.
