“Are you ready?” Damian asked her after helping her with the zipper of her dress.
Today was a special day that day that would mark a change in the lives of all that will be involved in this union, and for that, Miranda had to look her best today.
“Are you ready, Miranda?” She asked herself this question again inwardly. She doesn’t know if she’ll ever be, but she does know that this day was far due to come, especially since the lotus wolves moved here.
“Yes I am,” she answered as she turned to face him, looking at him straight in the eyes, still unable to get over all that had happened last night, and all that was yet to come.
“Then let’s head downstairs,” he said. “Our people are waiting for us.”
As she took his hand, her mind took a trip down to memory lane, remembering how it all started. How she walked into these territories without having a clue as to how life will turn out for her. She came in here a confused person, she came in here with so much hurt, but as time went on, as she fell in love with Damian, things started to take a good turn for her. Not just her, but her people as well.
Today is one of such days when the lotus will take its first step toward progression as all of the lotus wolves for the first time, had gathered in the silver terrain for this special occasion.
Back to memory lane, it all started with her intrusion into these territories, her arrest and then her almost getting executed by the man she loves today.
A smile crept up her cheek as she held his hand and walked forward. Who would have ever thought that day that she would be fated to this ruthless alpha king? Who would have thought that they would capture each other’s hearts and one day proclaime their love for one another?
She remembered how growing up, she always heard about the ruthless, cold and merciless alpha. Never would she had thought that she would one day become the bride of this alpha she grew up to fear.
Everyone was scared of alpha Damian. No one would dare to trespass on his lands. No one would dare to look him straight in the eye. No one would dare to knock twice on his door, but all that changed when Miranda walked into his life. She not only made him more merciful, she also made him rule with a motive of peace and unity, the best queen that an alpha would ever wish for.
Now they’d reach their destination, standing in the middle of the silver square where two different packs gathered on both sides, all facing the middle of the square where miranda and Damien stood.
As mentioned before, today marked a new beginning in the lives of the silver and lotus wolves; the merging of both packs to form a new tribe, the siltus.
Miranda was the one to make this decision, as she thought that the lotus was never meant to stand on its own. Even though the pack has progressed much since her crowning as Alpha, she couldn’t leave her people behind and at the same time, she needed to be right where her family was, according to the advice given to her by an old friend which she would keep to.
She sat I. the middle of the square with the lotus and silver circle, while Damian remained standing to give his speech to all those that had gathered.
“I welcome you all today as everyone that is gathered here from even the youngest cub is aware of why we are doing this celebration. Today marks a new era for the lotus and silver tribe as both packs along with their people and territories will be merged as one.
“From today onwards, we will be called the same name. We will be regarded as the same people. We will live amongst each other and we will share everything that we once owned individually.
“Today marks a new Era of peace and prosperity in the lives of the silver tribe, and I want all of us to work together to build all that the enemy managed to destroy during the last war.
“We will rebuild and we will regroup. We will share our lands along with the former rogue territories which we conquered. And from now on, the siltus borders will never be closed again to any of the outsiders.
“I once made a mistake in the past and then I made all my subsequent actions as a leader based on that single mistake I never forgave myself for, but today, I have decided to let go of the past and look towards a better future for me, my people and my beautiful bride. I want to say a big Thank you to all of you witnessed today’s event and lastly, from now on, all of our actions will be for the greater good of the siltus.”
After Damian’s speech, all of the wolves cheered as they began to chorus for the first time.
