Chapter 760: Resolution

“The reporters are not around, so we can talk to Olivia.” Francisco covered her mouth, gesturing with his eyes for her to be quiet, then pulled her away before releasing her, saying, “Mom, do you know who he is?”
“He’s from Stuart’s Corp,” Mrs. Cole replied, puzzled. “Is he important?”
“Of course he is! He gave me his business card voluntarily. We definitely need to stay in touch. I’ve been wanting to join Stuart’s Corp for a long time. Being a manager there would be much better than what I’m doing now,” Francisco exclaimed excitedly.
He couldn’t believe Olivia knew such an influential person! Thinking this, Francisco felt even more resentful towards Olivia. Not only did she refuse to put his name on the property, but she also didn’t introduce him to such a valuable resource!
“Great! Since we have connections, let’s invite him for dinner later. Maybe he can help our son find a good job!” Mrs. Cole said casually.
“You stay here, Mom. I’ll go back and check,” Francisco said eagerly, eager to talk to Caleb.
Caleb had just rescued Olivia from the bathroom. “Miss Foley, do you need help?”
“No, thank you!” Olivia replied curtly, still annoyed with Brendon, then softened slightly. “Caleb, is there something you need?”
Caleb smiled. “Mr. Stuart cleared everyone out for you. Shouldn’t you thank him?”
“I didn’t ask for his help!” Olivia rolled her eyes. After a pause, she begrudgingly said, “Thank you, Caleb.”
“You’re welcome,” Caleb replied. Just as he finished speaking, Francisco walked in, and Caleb, being polite, approached him. “Do you need any help, Francisco?”
Caleb kept his distance and shook his head. “No.”
“Hey, Caleb, do you know Olivia? I’m her…”
“Mr. Cole, let’s talk outside,” Caleb interrupted, leading Francisco out and closing the door behind them. Once they were alone, he said, “Mr. Cole, if there’s nothing urgent, please take the elderly lady home.”
“I’m busy now. We’ll talk about other matters later,” Caleb continued, checking his watch. “This floor needs to be cleared. Thank you for your cooperation.”
Since Caleb had spoken, Francisco dared not say anything else and simply nodded. “I’ll call Caleb later.”
After seeing Francisco off, Caleb returned to the ward and told Olivia, “Everyone has left. They won’t bother you anymore. Please rest assured.”
“Really?” Olivia was surprised.
“Really,” Caleb smiled. “I don’t lie.”
“Thank you,” Olivia said, though she didn’t like Caleb, she was still touched by his kindness.
“It was Mr. Stuart’s orders. He did it for Miss Bowman. If you want to thank someone, thank Miss Bowman,” Caleb added before pausing and saying, “I have to go now. Take care.”
Ranita was about to call Olivia when her phone rang. Olivia sounded excited, “Ranita, everything’s fine here.”
“What happened? Are you okay?” Ranita asked anxiously.
“I’m fine! Caleb, Mr. Stuart’s subordinate, came and drove everyone away,” Olivia sighed, “even helped drive away Francisco and his mother, and told me they won’t bother me anymore.”
