Alexa was very happy to see everyone after so long, James had restricted her going out after her pregnancy news.
Everyone was busy talking and soon food was served. Dinner was peaceful.
After dinner, everyone came back to the living room. Alexa was sitting between Alex and Alice.
Alice was giving instructions to Alexa about how to take care of herself, at that time James stood and said, “Everyone I invited you here today because I want to introduce you to someone special”
Everyone frowned but before they could ask three people entered the living room.
Out of three two were elderly people, they were in their mid-fifties and the other was Olivia.
Everyone was shocked and angry at the same time seeing Olivia, Lucas said coldly, “What none-sense is this? James”
James replied coldly, “Lucas, there’s nothing none-sense they are my biological parents and Olivia is the one who helped me to find them and from today onwards they will stay with me with their son”
It was a big shock for all kids and elders also, Alex, Alice, Dylan, and his wife exchanged a look of ‘how is this possible’
James looked at Dylan and said, “What Dad or should I call Mr. Dylan you thought you can hide this truth from me forever?”
Dylan was about to open his mouth when Olivia interrupted, “James, what can he say? he had stolen you from your biological parents”
“Your poor parents were looking for you from so long, it was mere luck that I met them otherwise your whole would be a lie”
James looked at Olivia and said gently, “Olivia, I am very thankful to you”
Olivia looked at Alexa and smirked.
Alexa was still trying to understand the situation, how can James talk to Olivia so gently when he knows what she had done in the past.
Alexa was about to open her mouth but James continued, “Olivia, I know I was rude to you in past please forgive me and please stay here with my parents as they trust you so much”
Alexa felt she heard him wrong, he was apologizing to Olivia and invited her to stay with them. How can he do that? Did he forget what she did in the past to part them away, they were almost divorced because of her.
Alexa held back her tears strongly and said walking towards James, “Honey, I understand you want to stay with your parents and I don’t have any objection with that but why Olivia?”
Alexa said this holding James’s arms, he jerked his hands from her hands and said, “Alexa, this is my house and I will decide who will stay here and who will not”
Alexa felt like the sky fell on her and she stepped back in shock, Carol immediately held Alexa supporting her to stand.
Mili also ran and supported Alexa.
Alex lost his patience, he growled, “How dare you talk to my princess like that?”
James replied arrogantly, “She is princess at your place, here she is my wife and she will have to listen and follow what her husband says”
Alex was about to say something, Dylan interrupted, “You are right James she is your wife so she need to follow your orders in your home but she is still a princess for us”
“So if she is your princess then take her away, I also don’t want a wife who can’t obey her husband” James replied arrogantly.
Alexa was unable to believe her ears, she never thought that she would hear these words from James’s mouth, but James proved her wrong.
Alex, Lucas, Daniel were so angry they were about to charge on James when Alexa said in a broken voice, “Dad, let’s go we don’t have anything left here”
Alex looked at his broken daughter, he knows very well that whatever James do Alexa would never want to hurt him, he held back his anger and walked away for holding Alexa’s hand,
But she didn’t hold his hand she walked to Dylan and said holding his hand, “Let’s go Dad”
Alex shouted, “Why are you going with him, his son doesn’t want you anymore”
Alexa said smiling sadly looking at Dylan with hopeful eyes, “But my family still wants me”
Dylan held her hand; his wife held Alexa’s shoulder and smiled assuring her that they are always here for her and they want her with them.
Alexa smiled sadly, Daniel said angrily to James while leaving, “You will regret it”
The whole family walked away with Alexa, Alexa was looking behind, after every step thinking James would stop her but he didn’t even look at her.
Olivia smirked looking at Alexa.
After everyone left James walked towards his parents and said gently, “I just want to be with you I got you after so long how can I allow anyone to come between me and my parents”
“I want to cherish every moment with you which I lost in past years”
His parents smiled gently, James ordered the butlers, “Please arrange a bedroom for my parents and Olivia”
The butler nodded and asked them to follow him.
His parents followed the butler but Olivia stayed in the living room with James, she said putting her hands on his shoulder, “James, be strong”
James turned smiled gently and said, “I am sorry about what Alexa said”
Olivia smiled gently and said, “I don’t blame her for what I have done in past”
James replied gently, “Thank you so much Olivia for everything”
Saying this he started walking towards his bedroom, saying to the maids, “Do not disturb me”
Olivia wanted to stop him, but she knows she should not hurry otherwise she might lose before winning everything.
Olivia smirked and walked towards the direction where the butler left.
On the other hand, Alexa was in her bedroom at Dylan’s house, she was reading a book lying on the bed.
Suddenly someone jumped from the balcony of her bedroom; she walked and found James standing there with a smile on his face.
