Carol pushed him and slowly stood from the bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up, but Lucas followed her there also.
He never in his life thought that he would become such a lovesick husband.
Carol was in the shower when Lucas opened the bathroom door; Carol immediately turned and saw Lucas walking towards her like a hungry tiger walking towards his prey.
She immediately turned off the shower and said, “Lucas, I dare you if you did anything I will not talk to you for a week”
Lucas smirked and said, “Baby, you are being a pervert, I just wanted to help my wife who was tired because of me”
“But looks like you want something more than help”
Carol turned back started the shower saying, “Better you stick to your words”
Lucas walks in the shower and hugs Carol from behind and said, “Let me help you to clean this body of yours which belongs to me”
Carol didn’t reply to him because his touch was making her lose her sanity. She controlled herself while he was scrubbing her back.
Little did Carol know that Lucas was equally getting tormented, but he was not proceeding in his actions because of Carol’s threat of not talking to him?
He knows that he cannot even breathe if she stops talking to him.
After having breakfast and spending some time with their daughters they headed to the office, but before leaving Carol gave hundreds of instructions to the nannies.
She kept her phone number on the speed dial of all the nannies.
Lucas was watching her, he felt so satisfied in his heart. Carol was a perfect woman a man can have, and he was one of the lucky men who had this woman as his wife.
She is an innocent person, not cunning like many other women, she is a caring mother, she is a perfect wife, the only problem is that she is so beautiful that Lucas can never get enough of her.
After Carol was satisfied giving instructions to the nannies, they finally left for the office.
On the other side, Alexa was cooking lunch for James, after making sure all the packing was done properly she left the mansion.
She was sitting in the back seat of the car and looking out of the window lost in thoughts, she was thinking about her life, she never thought that James would love her as much as she loves him.
He always comes up with different ways to show his love, he never forgets to bring her favorite flowers while coming back home, he never forgets to kiss her forehead and say, “Love you, my love”
These are very small things but they are very much satisfying to her, he pampers her so much.
She was lost in thoughts when her eyes fell on the car next to her, at this moment she realized that her car was not moving as they were at a red signal and the moment the signal got green her eyes fell on another car.
If she is not wrong that car was of James and he was in the driving seat, and next to him there sat a girl and that girl was none other than Olivia.
But before Alexa could confirm the car drove away, she thought she might have mistaken it so she dusted the thought.
After some time she reached James’s office, as everyone knows that she is the President’s beloved wife so no one ever stopped her.
So she directly went to James’s office, but found it empty she frowned but at that moment James’s assistant came and said, “Mam, Sir left the office few minutes back in urgency”
Alexa asked, “Was there any planned meeting?”
Assistant nodded and said, “No Mam, as per today’s schedule President didn’t had any meeting, so he had planned to go home with you early today”
Alexa frowned and nodded, and the assistant left the office.
Alexa called James’s number, he picked her to call after two three rings and said in a cold tone, which never happened, “Yes”
Alexa was a little surprised, she asked gently, “James, where are you?”
James said immediately, “Baby, it’s you, sorry baby….. I will be there in some time, something urgent came up”
Alexa said, “Ok” and hung up the call, she understood that James had picked her to call without seeing the caller ID.
But she was wondering where he was so busy that he was unable to see the caller ID.
She dusted the thought and waited for James and after waiting for an hour James finally came back.
Alexa was tired of waiting, she dozed off at his office sofa.
When he opened the door and saw Alexa sleeping on his sofa, he felt like all his worries faded away the moment he saw her beautiful face.
He tried to close the door slowly so that he would not disturb her but still the door made a little noise and Alexa woke up, she gently rubbed her eyes and smiled saying, “You are back?”
He smiled and sat next to her holding her in his arms kissed her forehead and said, “I am sorry Love to make you wait for so long”
Alexa smiled and asked, “Shall I serve the food?”
James replied, “No baby, I already had my lunch”
Alexa didn’t want to, but still, she felt hurt, because he never did this to her. Other days if he had meetings he would finish the meetings and have lunch with her.
Then the image of him and Olivia came to her mind and unknowingly tears dwelled up in her eyes.
Nowadays it’s happening often with her, she gets happy and sad for small things.
She smiled at James and said standing, “Ok, then I will leave”
James held her wrist and said, “What about your lunch?”
But before she could reply she fainted and fell in James’s arms.
James panicked, picked her and rushed out of his office followed by his assistant, his car was already waiting for him, he immediately sat in the back seat holding Alexa in his arms.
