For a moment Carol felt happy but the next moment she felt hurt also, thinking why he agreed to leave so easily.
She doesn’t understand what her heart wants, if he is with her and all bad memories haunt her, and if he is not with her she starts missing him.
Lucas continued, “But I have one condition”
Carol frowned, “What condition?”
Lucas said smiling mischievously, “You will never stop me from meeting my babies”
Carol was about to open her mouth to say, “NO WAY”
But Lucas said before her, “Either you let me meet my babies whenever I want to or I will stay here”
Carol thought that he was a busy man; he had such a big organization to run. He will hardly get time to come back, so she agreed immediately and said, “Ok, you can meet babies whenever you want but leave now”
Lucas walked to her, kissed her forehead and left with his luggage.
Carol sighed and thought that now she was free, but little did she know Lucas’s plan.
On the other side, Mili thought that Daniel didn’t know her address so he wouldn’t come to pick her so she was watching TV wearing hot pants and an oversized t-shirt.
The doorbell rang exactly at 7 pm, she thought who it could be, she hardly has friends here.
She walked and opened the door; she was shocked to see Daniel standing at the door wearing a black tuxedo, looking like a Greek god.
Daniel looked at her and frowned asking, “Why are you not ready?”
Mili was standing there dumbstruck, Daniel entered the living room passing her.
He sat comfortably on the sofa where Mili was sitting earlier and said, “Go, get ready fast”
Mili was not pulled out of the shock; she was cursing God to be biased to make him so handsome.
She slowly walked towards the sofa lost in thoughts, she didn’t want to go out, because she knows if she goes out that person will definitely get to know and ask her to do something which she doesn’t want.
She also knew that Daniel would not leave without taking her; she said immediately, “Why don’t we stay at home and order food, watch TV?”
Daniel wanted to spend time with her and he liked her house very much, although it’s small but it’s cozy, clean and comfortable.
He replied immediately, smiling ear to ear, “Sure, but why take it away, why don’t you cook something for me?”
Mili hesitated and said, “I am not that great cook, you might not like my cooking”
Daniel smiled and said, “Anything that you touch is always best for me”
Mili rolled her eyes at his cheesy line, she turned around saying, “don’t regret later”
Daniel found her cute, he slowly got up from the sofa and removed her coat and threw it on the sofa, and walked into the kitchen.
He saw her busy cooking, she was looking perfect, even though her hair was messy but still, she looked hot, he was silently watching her.
He wanted to stop the time at this moment so that he could see her without any disturbance.
He was sure that this is the girl he wants to spend his life with, and he would do anything to have her by his side, he was getting eager to add his name behind her name.
He was getting eager to mark her as his, he was getting eager to have a lot of babies with her,
He walked out of the kitchen and dialed someone’s number.
Mili was busy cooking and after half an hour she came outside and saw Daniel busy on the call, she thought that he must be talking to one of his girlfriends.
She turned around and started setting the table, thinking that after today she will never meet him.
Just when she was done Daniel walked in with a smile, he likes the aroma of food, he rolled his sleeves and said in excitement, “I can’t wait anymore”
She served the food for both of them and started eating. Daniel was busy chatting on his phone, and Mili also didn’t mind it, she just wanted this night to finish as soon as possible.
It is good for him to stay in his own world that is safe for him and his family.
But little did Mili know that Daniel is going to make this night a memorable night for her, a night which she will never forget, a night which she will want to live in again and again.
They both finish the dinner in silence, Mili knows that she doesn’t like Daniel because he is a playboy and she wants to spend her life with a person who would love her only . She should be his life, she should be his everything, she wants a normal family filled with love.
After the dinner Mili was cleaning the dishes, Daniel held her hands which were holding plates, and said smiling gently, “let me clean it”.
Mili was a little surprised and shocked at the same time because of the spark she felt when he touched her hands.
She immediately left the plate and pulled her hands back.
Daniel picked the plates and took them to the kitchen and started cleaning them.
Mili went to the kitchen to keep the leftover food in the refrigerator; she was surprised to see Daniel washing dishes.
It was visible how inexperienced he was but he was still trying hard for Mili. He looked so cute at that moment.
She said holding back her smile, “You looks inexperienced, leave it I will do it”
Daniel smiled back to her and said, “I want to learn it for you”
Mili was surprised at his statement she jerked her thoughts and said to herself, ‘this all sweet talks are part of his act, he is just a playboy, don’t fall for his act Mili’
Mili scoffed and said, “Mr. William, you don’t have to do all this, let me tell you very clearly I am not a girl who will fall for a play boy like you”
