Chapter 46 How are you going to make it up to me?

The living room suddenly became quiet.
Not only Janet Jane was nervous, but Trump was also nervous.
Looking at the little girl holding her phone with a confused face, Janet Jane immediately helped her gently. “Miss Simpson, I’ve been with you all the time from yesterday afternoon to yesterday evening when we left Purple palace. Do you remember?”
“Yes,” Twinkle thought very seriously.
“Miss Simpson, I made three calls in front of you during that time period, and each call lasted no more than five minutes,” Janet Jane continued. “The first one was to Patrick, the second one to Trump, and the last one to the airline company’s customer service to book the flight, right?”
Twinkle was about to nod but frowned again. “No!”
Right after Twinkle denied what Janet Jane had said, everyone became nervous again.
Trump loved his wife with all his heart. Janet Jane was lively, clever, and mischievous; many employees at Purple palace have been tricked by her. And with protection from Trump and Patrick, Janet Jane became more courageous and spoiled. If she couldn’t manage to explain and solve the problem, then Snow would get involved, and the loving days of their family of three would soon come to an end.
Trump knew he obviously wouldn’t betray his wife, but what woman wouldn’t get upset seeing a third-party involved with her man?
“Think carefully!” Trump stared at Janet Jane.
“Miss Simpson, could it be that you remembered wrong?” Donald looked at Twinkle.
“No, not three, but four!” Twinkle shook her head. She scrolled the call history to the next page and showed Janet Jane. “After we left Purple palace and before we arrived at the Simpsons’ place, you gave my mom a call asking her to bring out my bag.”
Everyone heaved a sigh of relief.
Janet Jane was almost scared to death. “Miss Simpson, aside from the call to your mother, let’s focus on the first three,” Janet Jane forced a smile. “Macy is my friend and the first call was made to her. Since you didn’t want to leave when Patrick wanted you to, he became very sad. I’ve followed Patrick for a long time, so naturally, I wasn’t happy either and didn’t have a very good impression of you. Afterward, I found out that you actually like Patrick quite a lot, but you just didn’t realize it and didn’t know what love felt like. And so, Miss Simpson, I called Macy on purpose when you thought I called Patrick just so that you could hear a female voice come out of the phone. I quickly hang up afterward and lied to you saying that Patrick has another woman with him to see your reaction. About the call to Trump, it didn’t show up in the call history because I didn’t call at all and only pretended to. I didn’t lie to you at all!”
Twinkle stood still and her nose felt a little congested.
“Achoo!” Twinkled sneezed again!
Damn it! He brought her back last night but didn’t cover her with a quilt that she slept under the air-conditioner all night.
Donald quickly handed Twinkle a soft tissue. She took it, wiped her nose, and smashed it onto Patrick’s face. “It’s all your fault! So much for sleeping with me, I didn’t even have a quilt for the entire night. You did it on purpose! I was cold all night!”
Donald and the others all paled in shock.
Who dared to throw garbage onto Patrick’s face? How dirty!
Now everything is over!
This time it was certain that Snow would take over Janet Jane and there was no going back.
But Patrick only took the tissue off of his face and skillfully pushed the wheelchair to throw the tissue into the trash. When he turned the wheelchair back, he spoke in a cold voice, “If you’re uncomfortable, go to the doctor’s and take some medicine.”
“Miss Simpson, did you hear me clearly?” Janet Jane was very nervous.
Twinkle’s head felt heavier and heavier, and her snot flowed out in a steady stream. She picked up the large tissue box on the coffee table, held it in her arms, sat on the couch, and pulled out tissue after tissue to wipe her nose. Twinkle looked quite worn out. “Not very clear. I have a headache.”
“One more minute!”
Patrick pushed the wheelchair slowly and headed towards the study room.
Trump also became very nervous, “Miss Simpson, if you don’t know within five minutes, then my life and Janet’s life are going to get very hard. Please help us!”
What!
Since when did Trump ask her for help?
Twinkle rolled her eyes but didn’t buy it. “Don’t try to confuse me this way! Men who cheat are wrong! Once is unfaithful, one hundred times is intolerable, and it’s all unforgivable! Plus, the one who wanted to get a third-party involved in your relationship is Patrick, not me. It seems that you are asking the wrong person for help!”
In fact, by then, Twinkle already had a vague idea.
Uncle might actually be innocent.
As soon as she thought about it, she felt much better.
What Janet Jane said made sense and it didn’t seem like she was lying.
Perhaps it was those few calls that made her initially believe Patrick cheated on her.
Thinking about Janet Jane’s comment that she liked Patrick but just didn’t understand what love was made Twinkle feel awkward and confused.
And so, Twinkle decided that she would rather change the topic instead of debating further, let alone have the group of people help her analyze whether she loves uncle. Plus, uncle is right here! How awkward would that be!
“Miss Simpson!” Janet Jane was anxious; her eyes were slightly red and looked as if she was about to cry.
Trump quickly stepped forward, took her hand, and looked at Patrick again. “Patrick!”
Patrick was still indifferent!
As if the entire world had nothing to do with him and he was only waiting for a result!
Donald was also anxious and pleaded, “Miss Simpson! Please!”
“I want to check the hotel’s security cameras!” Twinkle said to Patrick while lifting her small chin. “Starting from when you have entered the hotel, I need to see all your security footage! How many rooms you’ve been in, how long you were inside, and aside from Donald, Trump, and you, whether any woman went in. All of these! I’ll know afterward.”
The pair of eyes stared at her with some unfathomable emotion and a bit of inquiry. The man in the wheelchair was helpless after all. “You cry and you get drunk after hearing that I met with another woman. I can get you the security footage, but the problem is, if you’ve wrongfully accused me, how are you going to make it up to me? I obviously can’t easily forgive you for slandering my reputation like this.”
