Jadon carried the puppy and drove to the front of Kara.
“I’ll send you back and take Peace for a walk.”
Kara frowned and shook her head. “Thanks, it’s not far. I can take the bus back.”
“Kara, are you afraid of him?” Jadon asked with his elbow on the car window, staring at her and smiling.
Kara tilted her head and thought for a moment, then nodded.
She was afraid that James would be angry, and then he wouldn’t talk to her.
“Since you are afraid of him, why are you still with him?”
Jadon was very patient and chatted with her.
His car was on the way to the bus. The bus honked the horn, but he did not care. He just stared at Kara.
Kara felt awkward being stared at by him and had to get on the bus.
Jadon raised his eyebrows, and then he sneered and speeded up.
“Kara, did he force you to be with him?” Jadon asked with a joking tone.
“No, it’s because I like him.” Kara had not expected that Jadon would have such a deep misunderstanding and quickly explained.
“James is nice to me. He just has a poker face.”
Jadon smiled mockingly, but she didn’t notice his expression.
When Kara arrived at James’s villa, she hurriedly got out of the car and thanked Jadon. Then, she hurriedly ran into the villa.
Jadon watched Kara run away. He raised his eyebrows and was a little proud.

“Libby, is James back?”

“Mr. James just came back. He took something and left. Didn’t he go to pick you up?”

“James, I’m home now. Where are you?”

She didn’t reply.
Kara opened her mouth in shock. This was the first time she had heard James scold her in an impatient tone.
“Since you’ve gone back, just stay there. I’ll be back when I want to.”
Kara was speechless.
Kara hung up the phone and sat on the sofa, feeling a headache.
The pain came too quickly. She pressed her hands on her forehead and fell on the sofa.
She bit her lower lip and didn’t make a sound. She slept for a while until Libby called her to eat dinner. Kara came back to her senses.
Kara suddenly remembered that Corey had reminded her that she had to tell him anything about her body.
However, she did not dare.
She knew that James was intentionally distancing himself from her. She was not angry. It was just that James had never said such harsh words to her. She was somewhat unable to accept it.
When she was eating dinner, she couldn’t feel the taste at all.
Libby had prepared a lot of food for her. She didn’t want to waste it and ate it all.
After dinner, she went to the studio to draw. Kara remembered Jamya’s words and was touched.

“Libby, she ate a lot today. Prepare some lemon slices for her. Tonight, you stay in the villa. Before she goes to bed, prepare a cup of warm milk for her.”
“Mr. James, are you not coming back tonight?” Libby asked.
“No.”

Everyone was drinking tea in the private room on the top floor of the Imperial Club.
“Do you know Jadon?”

“I have sent people to investigate Jadon. The information I got is very little. I can tell that Jadon is deliberately hiding his identity. Corey, do you want to guess why?”
“I don’t know, so my guess is meaningless,” Corey said calmly as his gaze fell on the information.
James ground his teeth and knew that Corey deliberately did not answer. Corey definitely had something else to hide from him.
“Where are you taking her for treatment?” James asked again.
Since James was going to let go of Kara, he had to ensure Kara’s safety.
“This is my secret.”
Corey took out some of the information he knew and then stacked the information that James found.

“Mr. Corey, are you feeling guilty?”
