Back to school, Shirley still can’t escape from Karen’s trial.
Her eyes like laser seems to pierce Shirley.
“Tell me, what on earth did you two do?” Karen blocks her on the chair. One of her foot presses the edge chair, and one hand supports her body, leaning forward, “If you lie to me, I’ll…”
She makes a slicing gesture, and says cruelly, “Kill you!”
Shirley swallows hard, “We… We’ve already had sex!”
“Holy shit! Good job! Finally, you do not let me down. You’ve slept with him before graduation!” Karen is so excited with a loud voice. To be specific, she roars.
Now, she’s afraid everybody in this floor can hear what Karen said just now.
Shirley is so frightened that her hand hurriedly covers her mouth, “Be quiet! It’s very disgraceful.”
Karen breaks from Shirley’s hand, and says carelessly, “Why it is disgraceful? You can have sex with her, which proves your ability. Those people want to sleep with him but they can’t!”
“That’s right, but…” Shirley stops abruptly.
Karen asks, “But what?”
“Nothing, I’m about to play my game. There’s a game to be held in a few days, and I can’t lose it!”
Shirley plays it effectively as along as she focuses on it.
She makes up it with Yates and they even build a better way to talk to each other, which is kind of win-win.
Those days Yates teaches her the attributes including weaknesses and strengths of some heroes, which helps and benefits her a lot.

Seeing the messages Yates sends her in WeChat, she is lost in her thought.
Logging in the game, she sends Sparkler the invitation link. They two keep playing qualifying, and Shirley shares the tips Yates teaches her to Sparkler.
She’s already regarded Sparkler as her friend subconsciously, so she must share these with him.
Watching the messages Shirley sends him, all the words are tips which he types to her, feeling complex.
How would she think if she knows that Sparkler who always plays game with her as a rookie is him?

Yates even dares to imagine what he will face in the future. It is the first time that Yates has the thought of fear.
This never happens before. He is sent to study abroad alone in royal university. Every day he is bullied by those local students. He never feels feared when he has no family there to ask for help even though he is lonely and hopeless.
He never fears his father’s strength, so he drops out of that school and comes back here. It’s easy enough for him to be independent.
To fight against her father, he even chooses the school which his father looks down on. The seeming rebellion is to prove that he can live better without her father’s help to her father.
He refuses to be the son of rich people who has arranged everything for his son. It’s the only thing Yates wants that he’d like to create his own life he wants depending on his interests and talent.
Shirley still sends the information about the tips and analysis about the game to him.
Yates does not reply, just silently looking at the screen where she keeps sending messages.
Shirley says, “Hey, what do you think of what I say? That’s what my man told me.”
Sparkler replies, “Well, that’s good.”
Shirley says, “That’s it? At least give him a compliment, according to his brilliance.”
Sparkler is speechless, “…”
Does she want him to praise himself? It seems a little bit awkward.
As a result, he foes offline silently.
