Chapter 27 She Is Impersonated

Book:Heard That You Love Me Published:2024-5-1

“Hey! Where did you go last night?” Karen looks pale, looming up behind her. The situation makes her tremble so that almost drops her phone.
“Please do not frighten me, OK? I’m so timidity.” Shirley is very speechless and then closes the network page.
She thinks it must have been so long time for to claim the account belongs to her, so someone takes the opportunity!
Shirley feels mixed. She used to think that she would be a drag on Yates’.
Now suddenly there comes an apprentice, and she has nothing to do with this matter at present.
If she tells people that she is the right apprentice that Yates chooses, it seems that nobody would trust her.
Karen obviously looks like indulging in debauchery last night. The dark circles under her eyes are so black and her voice is weak, leaning on the desk, “Uh, yesterday how much bottles did I exactly drink? Why do I still feel dizzy? Wake me up if the teacher comes. I have to nap for a while.”
Nevertheless, after the teacher comes, Karen is still in sleep no matter how Shirley wakes her.
Karen wakes up consciously under the teacher’s furious and malicious sight. The first sentence coming from her mouth is why not wake her up to Shirley.
Shirley shakes his head innocently.
After class, they two return to the dorm.
Karen couldn’t wait to asks, “By the way, how did Mack find me last night? And where did you go?”
Shirley’s eyes shifted a little as if she did something secret, and shuffled, “Last night, Yates phoned me and asked where I was. I gave him our location, and then Pang Ming also came along. He directly held you away without saying a word.”
Karen, “…” Drunk as she was, she still vaguely remembers that Mack has sex with her several times last night, though.
Mack is mad at her, obviously, so he takes it out on her!
“What about you? Where did you go? Don’t think I miss the picture which is in the top line in school’s forum!” Karen breaks in with another topic. Questioning other’s matter is better than hers.
“I… I was with Yates last night.” She whispers and lowers her head like a kid who has unwittingly done wrong.
Although their relationship had been public, she still feels like herself a guilty thief, which she even doesn’t know why.
“Damn it! Good job, Shirley! Yesterday I just told you have to be open, and you did it so quick. Good. Very good.” Karen grins like a cat which steals fish.
Shirley knows that Karen totally misunderstands her words and explains quickly, “It is not what you think. The reason why Yates took me to his apartment is that you puked all over on me. We did not do anything.”
Karen is speechless, “…”
For a while, Karen slowly realizes. She is resentful towards Shirley for failing to meet her expectations and pokes Shirley head hard, “Why are you so stupid? You wasted a wonderful opportunity. You’re expected to push him down and do something with him. If you are pregnant, you will be the Ms. Mohchi! Do you think you are an idiot?”
It is her turn to feel speechless, “…”
At present, Shirley is completely dumbfounded. What it is on earth in Karen’s mind?
“We… We are very innocent. It’s not the way you think.” Shirley stammers and her cheek blushes immediately. All of a sudden, she recalls the kiss last night. If the delivery man did not ring the wrong bell, is it the way things are going to happen just like what Karen says?
