Sparkler replies, “Congrats!”
She adds, “Thank you anyway. Or I will never move forward a single step. Hold on, have you ever before played this secretly behind my back?”
Sparkler says, “Of course not. Who wants to be my teammate except you? I’m a rookie.”
Shirley says, “You’re right. Nobody does except me.
She is delighted and clicks “START”.
After having matched successfully, she picks Diao Chan, a pretty beauty role in the game, but Sparkler chooses Bian Que instead.
They both rush in the middle road. Nevertheless, Diao Chan runs so fast that she is killed under the Turret, becoming the first blood.
Shirley dares not to look at the screen. Perhaps extreme joy begets sorrow.
Interestingly, Sparkler won’t let her die alone. Sparkler dies at a very swift speed.
Shirley types some words on purpose and then sends them out.
Shirley aka Diao Chan says, “Ah! You died?”
Sparkler aka Bian Que replies, “Yeah.”
Shirley adds, “What an coincidence! Me, too.”
Sparkler replies, “…”
Shirley is in good mood now. She revives and keeps fighting, which seems to take the road to ruin.
It is obvious that she is poor at this but always rushes in the first position so that Bian Que dies for her every time. Their death’s times are equal.
Teammates are not pleased to see this and then start to swear at them on the public dialogue box.
“Diao Chan, are you an idiot?”
“And you, Bian Que, both you are fucking idiots.”
Though Shirley doesn’t give a fuck about insulting her, it really destroys her good mood. So she clicks “SURRENDER” and logs out.
Sparkler sends her message privately, “We can’t play like this. We should take it seriously.”
Shirley replies, “Every time I take every single fight seriously.”
Sparkler is speechless, “…”
It is a kind of ability that every single time she takes it seriously, she loses it.
Sparkler says, “I can guide you how to proceed when you pick Cheng Yaojin.”
Shirley refuses, “No way. He’s ugly.”
Sparkler says, “Cheng Yaojin is tanky and hard to defeat. Moreover, you’re fearless and brave. So he’s the best choice for you.”
She pulls a long face because Sparkler says that she is not good enough, even worse.
Sparkles says, “You follow me when games stars. Seeing I’m beaten by other, you come up and protect me.”
Shirley is speechless, “…”
Let her die actively? She isn’t so stupid as Sparkler thinks.
Not waiting for her to send the words, Shirley receives the invitation link and matches successfully.
But she still follows Sparkler’s instruction and picks strong but ugly Cheng Yaojin. Whereas Sparkler picks the handsome hero called Zhu Geliang.
When the game starts, Cheng Yaojin is the first one to dash up relying on his bulk.
Cheng Yaojin protects Zhu Geliang behind him and makes sure that Zhu Geliang can give them the last straw.
After Cheng Yaojin dies twice in a row, Shirley feels mad and unfair because all the enemies are killed by Zhu Geliang.
She figures that Sparkler is too crafty, running to other teammates angrily.
As a result, she flees when she sees they are beaten and almost dying.
One teammate called “defeat” is killed and insults her in the public dialogue box.
“Cheng Yaojin, why are you running away? You’re the flesh shield in order to keep me from beating by them.”
Shirley doesn’t think she has done something wrong. Why does she need to protect her teammate just because she’s ugly?
Then, she is back to Sparkler’s side in silence.
Sparkler shoots words in the public dialogue box, “You hide in grass. When they come over, you jump out and frighten them so that I can give them the last straw.”
She squats in grass meekly. As Sparkler expects, they are disconcerted when Shirley suddenly shows up. Then Zhu Geliang appears and kills them all.
The trick is so crafty but it’s effective for rookies.
They two have great teamwork and kill enemies in that way several times. After all, they finally win the first time.
Zhu Geliang gets the MVP whereas Shirley is not the worst player in their team.
