EPISODE FIFTY NINE
THEME: Teenage Hormones
MOON STONE FORTRESS
Juno hissed spitefully as she watched Ron make a fool of himself in a bid to impress her. She knew for a while that Ron and his twin Harry have a crush on her. However, Ron was almost in love with her as he followed her around with his eyes everywhere he finds her. Even though he always comes through for her in times she needs help at the camp, it still doesn’t count enough for her to be interested.
Sometimes it gets really creepy and annoying, but there was a limit to how she could respond since he had never tried to come in front of her and spurt out nonsense before.
Being unable to sleep despite heading to bed early, Juno decided to head to the gym. Being on camp had its own advantage of not being restricted by anything. You could enter the gym at whichever time you dim fit.
The moment she stepped into the gym, she had immediately regretted her decision. Right in front of her by the dumbbell was Ron. Juno would have eased off unnoticed, but he caught on quickly and to her disappointment, Ron indulged in a more stressing exercise in a bid to impress her and which only made him appear stupid.
Juno had never liked for a man trying too hard. It might sound absurd but she preferred doing the chase and having him do what she wants. Growing up in the midst of the two handsome boys of the Alpha made her have so much of a criteria on the type of man to come her way.
Jaylen was her first crush, but as the years went by Juno realized she was more into the idea of her man being a bad boy and that was exactly what Jayden was. There is no actual date to when it happened exactly, but he was her first. And they had been sneaking, or better still she has been sneaking up on him night after night. There was no way a sane person could get enough of Jayden.
The mere thought of Jayden sent shivers down her spine and a silly thought came to her head. Probably that was exactly what she needed.
Switching off the running mill machine she was on, Juno went in search of her gym bag. Juno fished out her phone and she typed in a hurry.
‘Are you home?’ Was the first text she sent.
‘Sure!’
‘Coast clear?’
‘Hundred percent.’
That was all she needed to hear as the smile spread through her lips like wildfire. Just when she attempted to step out of the gym there was no way she could understand the demon that took hold of Ron.
“Hey beautiful.” Ron cooed at her face by the doorway. He had practically moved like flash from lifting dumbbells to double crossing her by the exit.
Juno rolled her eyes. “What is it Ron?”
He smacked his lips. “I was wondering if you had been finding it hard to sleep, maybe I could treat you to some late night junks.”
She stared point blank at him. “Are you listening to yourself? Did I make any complaint to you?”
“Come on Juno. There is no other lady at this gym this late aside you, it’s obvious you weren’t able to catch some sleep. And you haven’t even spent up to fifteen minutes, probably some late night stroll or hangout is what you need. And I would like to be of service.” Ron said with a smirk.
Juno gulped hard. “I will try to ignore your rant and let this slide. The next time you come at me this way I might not find it funny.'” Juno warned before moving past him as she headed out the door towards her car.
Being acquainted with the Alpha had its perks. She could leave the camp with an excuse of checking up on her foster father whom everyone knows isn’t well. Getting into her car, Juno hurriedly changed out of her sport attire into the spare clothes she keeps in her car every time for occasions like this.
Being discreet in a hoodie to keep her face away was most times the attire she puts on to her destination. If she had it her way, she definitely would scream it out to the world but it was obvious he isn’t proud of it in any way and wouldn’t want anyone to catch on.
Driving through the lighted roads of the camp that led to the pack house, Juno’s thoughts floated on their own. Since she was eight, thoughts of Jaylen had always cross her mind. She crushed on him for years and wished he would ask her out, but Jayden was the one who showed more interest in her. And she had always made it clear to him that Jaylen would be picked over him at any chosen time.
She would have never thought the table would turn and when the teenage hormones began to set in, the person she wanted and craved for was Jayden. Jaylen had left the Fortress when she was thirteen. It had been a heart wrenching moment for her. In her attempt to seek solace, she had ran to Jayden’s willing open arm. And her treacherous heart began playing tricks on her, the need for Jayden became stronger, but then he had began to receive attention from different she wolves and Juno couldn’t keep up.
Jealousy raged through her and she wanted to let Jayden know she was just as girly enough as the others. The both of them had sex when she was fourteen and Jayden sixteen. Jayden had clearly told her she wasn’t his type and that was all there is to it. But then they kept finding themselves in each other’s bed and it had practically become an habit for nine years, which doesn’t seem like it would stop soon.
Juno slowed her car down as she neared the pack house, rather than go upfront she swerved into the street by the side of the pack house. She drove for a while before parking the car where it appeared to be a regular spot. Getting down she looked around to be sure no one was watching.
Days like this when she would sneak into his space there was a fence from behind that faced Jayden’s room directly. A ready made ladder awaits for her to climb on to get access to the room. They had began to apply this method when Juno left the pack house for the camp.
Just as she jumped into the room, Jayden was standing right in the middle of the room naked like a Greek god.
