CAMILLE’S POV :
As days went by, Alpha Aiden helped me with my heat and I wasn’t allowed to leave the room under his order, I was also grateful for that.
I didn’t want to attract more males to me as I am an unmated wolf.
Finally it was over, no heat and I was allowed to leave and I was glad. It so frustrating being so sexually frustrated.
I went down to start my chores again, greeted everyone as I got to work. Cleaning and mopping.
We made breakfast as we waited for the Alpha and his family to come down. As Alpha Aiden and his Luna cane down, I expected him to look at me but he didn’t.
He just acted like I wasn’t there. I thought things had changed, it’s not like I wanted to be a lover or something but he was so different and sweet to me this past few days that I thought maybe he will finally accept me as his mate.
The Alpha’s mum joined in some minutes later as we served them breakfast.
I don’t know what happened and the next thing, they were kissing on the dining table. I felt like my breathe stopped as tears threatened to fall. Why is he always doing this to me?
“May I be excuse?” I managed to ask as I was given permission to leave for that moment.
I didn’t notice that someone was following me as the person dragged me into my room.
“What do you think your doing?” I asked as I removed my hands from Alpha Aiden’s grasp.
“Can’t I touch my mate?” He asked me as sarcasm dripped out.
“I can feel your anger a little bit. Now tell me what’s got you upset” he asked.
“Can you please just leave me alone and go back to kissing your Luna” I said in anger as I opened the door for him to leave, only for him to close it back hard.
“Is there anything wrong in kissing my Luna?” He asked, “like you said, she’s my Luna”.
“Your enjoying right, your enjoying making me feel this way” I questioned as my eyes became watery.
“Making you feel how, did you think just because of this past few days I would change my mind about you? Accept you as a mate? You must be having issues thinking” he scoffed as tears rolled down my face but u cleaned it off as quickly as it fell.
“Then I’m free to do whatever I like, kiss any other male I like. That would be a great way to explore my choices ” I told him as I turned to go but he dragged me back and kissed me forcefully.
“Mmphm mmphm” I struggled to get out of his hold as I pushed him away from me, gasping for breathe.
He walked up to me and pushed me to the door , making my back hit the wall hard as I groaned from the impact.
“Never move away from my touch and most certainly don’t let any male touch you, cause I’ll kill that male and you won’t enjoy what I’ll do to you” he whispered slowly in my ear as he pushed me out of the way and left me alone in the room.
So he helped me for his own pleasure, what was I even thinking? But you can’t blame me, I’m just so tired of feeling this way, so tired of feeling so hurt or getting hurt by someone who is supposed to love and be there for me.
I washed up my face in the bathroom and dried it up , not wanting to leave any signs of tears. Miss Clara is coming back today and I don’t want to greet her in tears, it will be a happy moment.
As we cleaned out the tables that was used for break fast. I heard the voice that I have missed for days. I turned and ran to her and gave a big hug.
“OMG Miss Clara, I’m so glad your back” I said grinning widely, “let me help you” I told her as I helped her carry the stuffs she was with, even though you didn’t want me too that she could do it, I still insisted.
She greeted the Alpha and Luna, Alpha’s mother too, informing them of her return and how Ivy was doing.
When we were comfortable enough, I asked her a lot of things about how the baby and Ivy is doing and I was glad and happy for the positive response I received.
ALPHA AIDEN’S POV :
I sat at in my office with my second-in-command ( my beta) by my side. We were expecting an important guest – The Alpha of the Red Wolf Pack.
As we waited, I had heard great things about the Red Wolf pack and their Alpha though he was still in search of his mate or he might get someone to be his Luna soon or so, aside from that I was looking forward to meeting him in person.
Finally, there was a knock on the door and he was let in, a tall, muscular man with bright red hair. The Alpha of the Red Wolf pack.
“Alpha,” his own beta greetef as he introduced “this is the Alpha of the Red Wolf pack, Mr. Redwood.”
I stood up and extended my hand. “Mr. Redwood, it’s an honor to meet you. Please, have a seat.”
“Likewise and thank you for agreeing to meet with me on such short notice” Mr. Redwood said.
Mr. Redwood sat down across from me and we spent the next few minutes making small talk, discussing the weather and our respective packs. Finally, Mr. Redwood got down to business.
“Alpha, I’m here to personally invite you and your family to a dinner party at my pack, my house to be precise. We’re celebrating an important achievement this evening by 8pm and we would be honored if you and your family could join us.”
I was a bit taken aback, it’s been a long while since I attended a dinner party and a personal invitation at that. “Mr. Redwood, that’s very kind of you. We would be happy to attend. Thank you for the invitation.” I said giving a smile.
Mr. Redwood nodded, a smile on his face. “Excellent. I’m glad to hear it. We’ll expect you and your pack next this evening. It should be a great evening.”
I stood up and extended my hand once again. “We look forward to it, Mr. Redwood. Thank you for the invitation.”
We both shook hands and Mr. Redwood took his leave, leaving me to ponder on the arrangements and a congratulatory gift. A dinner party with the Red Wolf pack? I couldn’t wait to see what the evening would bring.
