ALPHA AIDEN’S POV :
“What????” I fumed with anger as I quickly left to meet up with him.
Alpha’s eyes narrowed. “What do you mean, kidnapped? How do you know this?” I asked as I had gotten to him and where the evidence laid.
“I found a dead body in a clearing near the border of our territory,” my Beta explained, his voice barely above a whisper. “There was a note attached to the body, saying that the Luna had been taken and that we were to come to a specific location if we wanted to see her again.”
My fists clenched at my sides. “Who would do such a thing?” I growled. She herself has seen the things and fights that has happened lately but she won’t take precautions, she wants to go out, she won’t take a guard as a Luna. Even though she can defend herself, protection is still needed.
“I don’t know, Alpha,” he replied, shaking his head. “But we have to do something. We can’t just sit here and do nothing.”
I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing thoughts. “You’re right,” I said finally. “We have to go and see if we can find the Luna. But we must be careful. We don’t want to walk into a trap.”
He nodded. “I agree. We should gather a group of our strongest pack members, warriors and go to the location specified in the note. We’ll have to be on our guard at all times.”
I nodded, my mind already racing with plans. “We’ll leave as soon as there’s a plan,” I said firmly. “We’ll bring the Luna home, no matter what it takes.”
We both arrived at the room where we were to meet with the other warriors. We needed to come up with a plan to rescue the Luna, who had been kidnapped but who kidnapped her is what we don’t know yet. The dead body seemed to have been choked on claws and the nearest thing can either be a rogue wolf or a wolf who wasn’t a rogue.
As we entered the room, we saw several other wolves gathered around the large table, studying a map of the area. I and my Beta took our seats at the table and listened as the others discussed their options.
One of the warriors, a large, muscular wolf named Delta, suggested that we launch a surprise attack on them since we have the location. But another warrior, a clever and cunning wolf named Gamma, argued that such a direct approach would be too risky and that we needed to find a way to sneak in and rescue the Luna without being detected.
After much discussion, we finally agreed on a plan. We would divide into two teams, with one team serving as a distraction while the other team snuck into the place to rescue the Luna.
I and my Beta were part of the team that would be going into the den, and we knew that the mission would be dangerous. But we had to bring the Luna back safely, no matter what it took. Even though she misbehaved by having affair which I didn’t even care about, she was still my Luna and she needed saving.
As we prepared to set out on our mission, I turned to everyone and said, “get your Luna back safely and be careful out there. We are coming back together”.
Everyone nodded and growled with a determined face to get their Luna back unharmed.
And with that, we set out, each teams with suitable warriors ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
We traveled deep into enemy territory, following the location of the wolves who had taken the Luna.
As we neared the destination, we knew we were getting close. But as we turned a corner, we were suddenly confronted by a group of wolves, led by a massive alpha wolf with piercing blue eyes.
“Well well well, if it isn’t the late Alpha’s son I suppose” the massive alpha wolf with piercing blue eyes said talking to me.
“Do I by any chance know you boy, we are here for the Luna. Hand her over and we will leave, no fighting or bloodshed” I said trying to make everything go smoothly.
He changed back to his human form as his own pack gave him a shirt to put on, the rest of his people didn’t shift just him. It was normal for werewolves to change in front of each other so we were the least bothered.
After changing, he started laughing. “See how your ordering around like you own the place, don’t you wanna hear what I have to say?” He asked taunting me. I gave him no reply.
“No? Well In order to get back your Luna, you have to hand over your pack to me” he said. Now it was my turn to laugh. He just stared at me blankly.
“Who are you?” I asked in a more serious tone, I was beyond pissed to start playing games with anyone.
“You don’t need to know but I’ll tell you. I’m here to take revenge on what your father did to my pack. I heard his dead, it would have been a pleasure killing him myself” the alpha spoke up smiling as I snarled at him, I was about to attack when my Beta held me back.
“Yes yes, tame your alpha. He should get a grip on himself” the alpha said mockingly as he moved around still talking.
“What did my father do that you have so much detest against I and my Pack?” I questioned back.
“I think you should recall a war that happened when you were or rather we were little. The very last war where two of your best warriors, who were mates died. What’s there name again, I think the Ryders, yeah that’s it”. He answered.
Camille’s Parents. The war, what does he have to do with all these.
“My father was killed due to that war, he was the Alpha of the opposite pack your pack fought with and when he managed to get home to us he was already dieing and there was nothing to be done, so I promised to kill the Alpha who killed him when I’m of age but seems like your father couldn’t wait for me” he laughed out Loudly. “So why not kill his son, son to son. Your father didn’t even fight in the war, just sat indoors as his warriors fought for him but my dad came out and fought”. He spat angrily.
“Then your father must be foolish to think he and he’s pack could win against us” I growled angrily at him and then all hell broke loose.
