ALPHA AIDEN’S POV :
Still on the ground after that mighty blow, more kept coming.
The warrior stood over me panting and sweating. He had fought with all his might, pouring every ounce of energy into the battle. He had landed blow after blow, driving me finally to the ground. I was fuming with anger at the thought of being beaten by a warrior of mine. It boiled my soul.
As I collapsed to the ground, the warrior let out a triumphant roar. He had won! He had defeated the his Alpha and proven himself to be the strongest and most skilled warrior in the pack and that his suitable for the Alpha’s position.
But as he basked in his victory, he didn’t notice that I was slowly getting back to my feet. My eyes narrowed as I glared at the warrior, my wounds healing rapidly.
The warrior was caught off guard as I launched myself at him with renewed strength. My blows came hard and fast, and the warrior was struggling to defend himself. I myself was fighting with a ferocity that he had never seen before, and was yet to see more. The warrior eyes had a glimpse of fear as he tried to fight back, but he was no match for my sudden burst of strength. He was driven back again and again, his energy sapped and his strength fading.
As the warrior lay on the ground, battered and bruised, I stood over him, my eyes glowing with a fierce determination. He was foolish to think that he would win the fight.
I bent down to his level, my claws out as I ripped out his heart slowly watching him suffer from the burning pain.
I held his heart in my hands as the warrior laid lifeless on the ground.
I couldn’t help but feel a sense of triumphant satisfaction as I looked at my packmates who had gathered
With a deep, guttural growl, I let out a victorious howl that echoed through the forest. My pack erupted into cheers and howls of their own, their voices rising up to meet mine in a chorus of celebration.
Making my way into the house, My body ached from the countless blows I had taken, and my mind was still racing from the adrenaline of the fight. I knew I should be celebrating the victory, but all I could think about was how exhausted I was.
Stumbling through the door, my body and mind exhausted from the long and grueling fight. All I wanted to do was collapse on my bed and sleep for days.
But as I made my way up the grand staircase, I heard a voice calling out to him. “Sir, dinner is ready,” Miss Clara called out gently.
My stomach grumbled at the mention of food, but the thought of having to sit through a formal dinner was more than I could bear at the moment.
“Bring it up to my room, please,” I called out, barely able to keep the fatigue from my voice.
I heard the Miss Clara’s footsteps as she gathered the tray of food and made her way up the stairs. When she entered the room, the I was already sprawled out on the bed, my eyes closed in exhaustion.
She set the tray down on a nearby table and began to serve the dinner.
When she finished serving the food, she sat down next to me and gently shooked my shoulder. “Sir, your dinner is ready,” she said softly.
My eyes fluttered open and I sat up with a groan. “Thank you,” I said, my voice rough with exhaustion.
She watched as I slowly ate my dinner, When I looked at her, I could see her eyes filled with concern.
“I’m fine ma, don’t worry” I told her as she nodded and urged me to finish my meal.
When I was done, she took the tray away and asked if theras anything else I needed.
I shook my head and collapsed back onto the bed. “No, thank you,” I said, my eyes already closed. “Just let me sleep for a while.”
She nodded and quietly left the room, closing the door behind her.
Laying down I thought about my mother lying alone in her room, I couldn’t help but feel guilty and frustrated. I was supposed to go see how she’s doing today but to no avail with all the issues . I wished more than anything that I could be there with her, holding her hand and offering her comfort.
But I also knew that I had a duty to the pack, and that I couldn’t neglect my responsibilities just because I wanted to be with my mother. I would trust her to be taken well of , even though I’m not there. Tomorrow I’ll go and check up on her.
Still on the bed, I had noticed that Laila was no where to be found.
I’ve began to feel less concerned about where she goes too as long as she comes back safely and unharmed. I had grown accustomed to her comings and goings, and I had learned to trust that she would always return eventually.
At first, I had been worried that she might not come back at all, that something might happen to her while she was out exploring and doing Moon Goddess knows what. But I guess I’ll less my concerns and look forward to her coming back safe.
I then remembered something refreshing, I linked one of the Guards outside and told him to fetch someone for me.
Standing up I held myself as I was going into the bathroom to shower and get clean for what is coming this night. Mmmm I can’t wait for those pretty hands on me.
After I was done with shower and came out, a towel tied around my waste and water dripping from my hair, there was a knock on the door.
“Come in”.
