CHAPTER NINETEEN
AIDEN’S POV :
As I walked out of the room, I couldn’t help but wonder why no one had visited her in all these years, what about her family? Nevertheless she’s mine anyways.
It’s a good thing she isn’t of a lowly status then. She can serve as a good satisfaction of my needs , since Laila can’t give me what I want and fulfil my needs, my destined mate would.
Now I have to attend to some Pack duties. Today we were having a camp night out.
The pack gathering for camp night was always a special occasion. It was a time for the pack to come together, to share stories and memories, and to strengthen the bonds that held them together, we were a very big pack and we had a big space for we all.
The camp was located deep in the heart of the forest, nestled amongst the tall trees and surrounded by dense underbrush.
It was a place of great beauty and tranquility, and the pack had been coming here for generations.
As the sun began to set, members of the pack began to arrive. There was a feeling of excitement in the air, as the pack knew that this would be a night to remember.
As the pack assembled around the campfire, as the leader of the pack, I stepped forward to speak.
“Welcome, my brothers and sisters,” I said, my deep voice carrying across the clearing. “Tonight, we gather to celebrate the bonds of family and friendship that bind us together. We are a strong and proud pack, and I am honored to lead you.”
The pack erupted into cheers and howls of approval, and I nodded gravely, acknowledging their enthusiasm.
“But our strength does not come from I alone,” i continued. “It comes from each and every one of us. We are stronger together than we could ever be apart. So let us embrace that strength tonight, and let us revel in the joy of being alive and free.”
With that, I signaled to the other members of the pack, and soon the campfire was ablaze with the sound of music and laughter. The pack danced and sang and told stories late into the night, reveling in the joy of being together.
As the night wore on, some of the pack drifted off to sleep, exhausted but content. But others remained by the fire, lost in thought as they watched the flames dance and flicker.
As dawn broke, the pack began to stir. Some set off on hunts or patrols, while others tended to the camp and prepared breakfast. But no matter what they were doing, there was a sense of unity and purpose that ran through the pack, a sense of belonging that could not be broken.
As the sun rose higher in the sky, the pack began to disband, as we all prepared to head back home. But they all knew that they would return to the camp again soon, for it was a place of sanctuary and a place of family, a place where they could always find solace and strength.
As the alpha of the pack, it was my duty to attend to the needs of my pack members. I maybe a ruthless leader, always demanding the best from my pack and never hesitating to punish those who failed to meet my expectations but that doesn’t mean I don’t care for them.
Despite my tough exterior, I was fiercely protective of my pack and would do whatever it took to keep them safe. I had worked hard to earn their respect and loyalty, and I would stop at nothing to defend them.
For me, being the alpha of the pack was not just a title, it was a way of life. I lived and breathed for my pack, and i would do anything to ensure their safety.
Now, as we made our way home, they couldn’t wait to sleep in their own beds and enjoy the comforts of civilization again, though we loved the camping.
As we trudged through the woods, the pack chatted and laughed, looking forward to the end of their journey. But as the sun began to set, the mood shifted.
The forest around them grew darker and more foreboding, and I and the pack could feel a sense of unease creeping over us.
Despite our discomfort, we pressed on, determined to make it home before nightfall. But as we rounded a bend in the trail, we were confronted by a group of snarling werewolves, blocking our path.
We stopped, unsure of what to do. These werewolves were not part of our pack, and we could feel the animals’ aggression emanating from them.
“We have to stand our ground”, I said firmly. “We can’t let them intimidate us. We’re stronger together.”
The pack members nodded, drawing closer together and baring their teeth at the approaching werewolves. But as we faced off against the larger animals, we could feel their confidence faltering.
These werewolves didn’t know what they were getting themselves into.
Just as the werewolves were about to attack, I let out a fierce howl, signaling for the rest of the pack to shift into their wolf forms, there was nothing to be done now and we had to change even though it’s not full moon, for our sake.
With a burst of energy, I and the pack transformed, our clothes tearing and falling to the ground as we grew into large, powerful wolves.
The rogue werewolves hesitated for a moment, surprised by the sudden shift in the our appearance. But as we lunged at them, snarling and snapping our teeth, they quickly regained their footing and the fight began.
Our two sides clashed in a blur of fur and fangs, each side determined to come out on top
