CHAPTER FIFTEEN
MISS CLARA’S POV :
The next day came so fast and Ivy was here, she indeed had a surprise. She was pregnant, it was such a great news, joy filled my heart.
As soon as she came, we talked a bit then she left to see Camille to spend some time with her before she leaves.
CAMILLE’S POV :
Miss Clara had brought something for me to eat late at night yesterday before I went to sleep. My back aches a little, not as much as before.
As a werewolf it helps my healing to be faster and my gene adds up too.
Daybreak came so soon and the guards announced I have a visitor, though it wasn’t who i was expecting.
“Hey cupcake” I heard a voice say as I turned around, I was so happy. I tried getting up by myself as I was still in pains but she rushed to help me.
“Slowly slowly” and soon enough I sat down and that wasn’t so comfortable.
“I’m so glad to see you Ivy” we exchanged hugs as she was careful not to touch my back.
“Likewise dear”.
“And someone is preggyyy, I see your mate has done somethings” I teased her as she blushed.
“Stop it Camille”.
“I’m glad to see you smiling, I know everything and I had to see you before I take my leave. How’s your back? Let me take a look”. I turned around with her help as she examined my back and I heard her gasp.
“Were they planning to peel off your skin. Just 10 whips and it’s so bad” her voice cracked at the sight.
“It’s okay Ivy, you don’t have to worry, I can take it and it will heal in no time”. I said trying to make her relax and don’t think too much into it.
“I don’t like this at all Camille, I don’t. Like ever since I knew you , yes you tried hiding how you were treated but I could still see the hurt in your eyes and they wouldn’t even let you go with me”. I only gave a sad chuckle.
“I don’t want you to worry Ivy, It’s going to be alright” Assuring myself also.
“Come on, let’s talk about the fun things that has happened, how’s your new pack, your mate , everything. Just tell me” i just had to come up with something that will help lighten up the mood and get my mind off some things too.
“Hmmm I don’t like you being locked up here either” she exclaimed, flapping her hands in the air. She just wouldn’t give up.
“Ivyyyyyyy” I whined.
“Fine fine” she sighed. Then we got down to business, filled me in on everything that has happened in her life so far. It was amazing, I am so happy for her.
After everything, the talks , the laughing. She left, suddenly I felt so lonely, sad , tired. A lot of emotions just rushed out of me.
For how long I’m I going to be locked in here? He hasn’t even come to see me. I don’t even want to see him either pfft.
Miss Clara had come to give me food and check out my wounds. It was healing nicely though.
“Any news about the Luna?” I just had to ask about her to know how she’s fairing, not that I care.
“Well she’s recovering fast. She’s home now” Miss Clara said as she redressed my wounds.
“Hmm I see…. maybe I should have cut in deeper and make her loose an arm” I smiled at the thought.
“Camille!!” She warned.
“Relax , I’m just kidding” I chuckled at her shocked face after hearing me say that out .
“You better be. Aiden’s mum is very angry with you when she heard what you did to Luna Laila, you would have received worse punishment but Aiden just concluded everything with 10 whips” she shrugged.
“He should have let them kill me” I muttered lowly.
“Don’t ever say such a thing Camille, how could something like that even come out from your mouth girl” she warned.
“I didn’t mean it okay, I’m sorry. I don’t wish to die, was just annoyed that’s all” I bumped my shoulder against hers , trying to get my apology to be heard and be forgiven.
“Careful there, and stay calm let me dress this wound properly. Give it a day more and you will be healed perfectly with just like few scars”. Miss Clara warned smiling as she finished up everything, made me eat all the food and left to continue with some of the chores at the house.
I was about to take another short nap, when I heard voices and footsteps coming towards the direction of my prison.
The gate was opened to the former Luna, Aiden’s mum. I quickly stood up with fear and groaned at the pain from my back as I bowed and greeted her.
“Filth” she spat, walking around the small room , making disgusted faces at everything she laid her eyes on, even I.
“I just needed to pay you a visit, I wished you had more whips. Seems like your strong enough to stand” She scoffed.
Unknown to her that my legs were still a little bit weak and my back still hurts a bit.
“No Luna, I just—” I tried explaining before she raised her hands to stop me , putting one finger at her lips.
“Shhhh, I didn’t ask you to speak. Did i?” She questioned walking towards me as i shook my head.
“Turn around let me see your back” ordered and not asked by the Luna I did but I didn’t trust what she would do to me.
I turned my back and she ordered to remove the clothes for her to see the wounds. I was so scared, I had no idea what she would be thinking but I knew for sure it wasn’t anything good
