Book:The Princess Agent Published:2024-5-1

When Qu Jiao saw those people who broke in clearly, she hurriedly covered herself with the quilt and said: “No, Your Highness. It must have been Chu Qiao, who set me up!”
Dantai Yunhan was infuriated when he found that the woman kneeling on the ground had no intention of repenting of what she had done. He hoped no other people would know that such an embarrassing thing had happened in his Palace.
But he didn’t expect that Chu Jiao dared to cry after she was caught in the act!
“Well, you said you were set up by Chu Qiao. Why don’t you tell me who the man in your bed is!” Dantai Yunhan was so irritated by her slutty action which greatly ruined his reputation that his face turned pale.
Chu Jiao turned desperate when she recognized the man in her bed. How come this guy was here? He should have been in Chu Qiao’s room at the moment!
As an old saying goes, everything has its vanquisher. Chu Jiao would never have expected that she would draw ruin upon herself before plotting against others.
Dantai Yunhan had intended to discuss something with Chu Jiao, only to find she was committing adultery, so he couldn’t help but glare at her.
He was wondering how serious the situation would have become if the servants had not happened to see a man entering her room when they passed by.
Dantai Yunhan felt extremely disgusted at the sight of Chu Jiao staring at him with all that pretentious innocence. He couldn’t help but regret that he had let such an unworthy woman use him to destroy Chu Qiao.
“I immediately felt something \wrong when the servants told me that they saw a man entering your room. But I didn’t expect that I would hear such obscene voices when I came to have a look! How do you think I should feel?”
“Your Highness, it’s not like what you’ve seen. Please let me explain. All of these must be their dirty tricks against me. Otherwise, I…” Chu Jiao clutched at her arms tightly that her nails pricked her skin, making her bleed, but she couldn’t feel the pain at all.
Things shouldn’t have been like this. How come it ended in this way?
“You are still defending yourself in such a situation?! You are not going to give in until there is no way out, are you? That guy has admitted that he was invited to your room by yourself. How could a woman be so slutty as to bring a man other than her husband into her room!”
“Now that you have no sense of shame, this household will no longer shelter you, either! It’s shameful enough to invite a man to the foyer. How dare you bring him into your bedroom! Damn it!” Dantai Yunhan almost wanted to kick her when he saw that she was still trying to arouse his pity for her with that pretentious look on her face.
How could she still claim that she had done nothing wrong when all her crimes had been confirmed. No wonder Chu Qiao would feel disappointed with him.
Dantai Yunhan couldn’t help but regret believing what Chao Jiao had said. He didn’t except the truth would be so shocking.
Although he knew Chu Jiao wouldn’t love him wholeheartedly forever, he couldn’t hold back his anger when he found that she committed adultery with another man.
“No, that’s impossible. I must have been set up by Chu Qiao! Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been here now! Your Highness, please uphold justice for me! ”
Chu Jiao did not give up, instead she was still cursing Chu Qiao in a loud voice, wanting to drag her sister into hell with her last strength. However, she failed to notice that Dantai Yunhan’s glare at her was becoming increasingly colder.
Chu Jiao was clear that this was her last chance, and there would be nothing else she could do without Chu Qiao involved in this mess.
“Then tell me, how could Chu Qiao set you up when she was grounded in her Palace!” Dantai Yunhan’s last shred of pity for Chu Jiao was gone when he saw that there was no sign of her repentance.
What a jealous and vicious woman! He couldn’t help but hate himself for his previous gentle attitude towards her when he thought that his Palace wouldn’t have been so chaotic without her.
“Your Highness, please believe me. Actually, this man was sent by Chu Qiao. You can check whether he has something that belongs to her if you don’t believe me. There must be some sort of evidence on him!” Somehow Chu Jiao remained unresigned.
“I once saw she give the man a pouch embroidered with a character of ‘Qiao’, which represented her name. How would she give him such a gift if they were not intimate.” Chu Jiao described the scene so vividly that the others present began to wonder if what she said was true.
Dantai Yunhan frowned upon hearing this. He glanced at her and said: “Do you know that you will be punished far more severely than being sunk into a river in a cage if I find that you are making this up?!”
Chu Jiao was so frightened at hearing these words that her face turned ghastly pale. She nodded and said: “I know. I don’t want to see Your Highness bear any disgrace. I saw clearly what happened, because I happened to be passing by the garden when Chu Qiao gave him the pouch.”
She did not forget to curtsy when saying this, “In fact, I planned to tell you about this, but her servant girl was keeping an eye on me. I never had a chance. Whenever I thought about it, I felt miserable.”
Dantai Yunhan looked loosened up a little seeing that Chu Jiao still cared for him. Upon noticing the subtle change in his expression, Chu Jiao added, “I haven’t got the faintest idea what happened today. It had already been set up before I woke up. I was framed!”
The other people couldn’t help but roll their eyes at seeing Chu Jiao pretending to be innocent, because they knew clearly what she was capable of, but no one said a word for the fear of her abuse.
Although Chu Qiao was nice to the servants, she wouldn’t be able to win against Chu Jiao, who was always tricky and vicious. They couldn’t help feeling a slight chill running down their spine at the thought of the miserable endings of their peers who once offended Chu Jiao.
