Hospital

The sound of the Holter monitor awakened me. When I glanced at the light, the white was all around me, and I closed my eyes again. They plugged my hand with dextrose. I looked around to see where I was. Such rooms became all too familiar to me. It was also the first thing I saw after waking up from comatose.
There was no one else in the room. All I can hear is the beeping of the hospital machine. I attempted to recall what occurred and why I got here, but I couldn’t remember anything. My brain hurts no matter what I attempt to picture.
I massaged my head while leaning on the hospital bed’s steel. When Ava and Turstin walked in, it felt like my eyes were whirling again. I assumed they were the only two who had entered when another man walked in. It was the one I noticed on the patio.
The sobbing Ava rushed over to me and hugged me. I expected her to say something pleasant, but her taunting hasn’t stopped. “You must not die because your husband may accuse us of murder!” I smacked her arm as she sniffed and carefully brushed away her tears.
She giggled but hugged me once more. “We’re quite worried about you! What exactly happened to you? When we got out of the car and were ready to enter the gate, you passed out.”
Turstin also approached me and took a seat by Ava’s side. But it appears that this woman has no choice of location or day when Turstin is in front of her. Turstin has pulled away from her, and a chair was placed between them. Because of them, I just want to scratch my head.
“Distance, please?” She rolled her eyeballs.
Turstin rolled his eyes as well. He came up to me and spoke to me. “Randall is on his way; I informed him what happened. We’ve driven quite a distance, so he may be late. Regardless…” He motioned for the man behind him to approach me. “This is Alex Sy, the person I’m saying to you who could locate the phone number you’re having problems with. He’s also a buddy of Randall and mine.”
The man extended his hand to shake mine. When I initially glanced at it, I noticed a trace on his ring finger. It was as if it had been injured simply to prove that there had been a ring place in there before.
I looked at him, and he grinned. I accepted his hand because he had already offered it. I didn’t let go of his hand when I got it. I have the impression that I recognize the shape of that hand. I inquired since he was still smiling at me.
“Have we seen each other before?” I know my question is out of nowhere. Turstin wouldn’t have introduced him to me if this man knew me.
“I don’t know if that will happen; I just saw you today.” “I wouldn’t have known you if Turstin hadn’t introduced us.” He took a step back, his smile gone.
Randall’s entry was precise, albeit a touch breathless. He glanced at me as soon as he walked in. Then huge steps embraced me. I’m still giggling at his look because I’m afraid someone will think what happened to me was terrible. I turned to look at Turstin and Ava, who were now whispering but still arguing, while I hugged him. Alex was the last thing I glanced at; his eyes were turned from me, and I could see grief and hatred in his gaze. Perhaps he wasn’t used to seeing things like this.
Randall adjusted his stance after letting go of the hug. His gaze was drawn instantly to Alex. Alex is now resting against the wall, arms crossed and a bored expression on his face. Randall and he gazed at one other for a long time, as though they were tense. They wouldn’t have dropped their keen stare if Ava hadn’t spoken.
“We’ll go out first, Winter, so you and your husband can chat.” She was now yanking Turstin’s hand away from her. I’m likewise confused about what’s going on with the two of them. There is a potential for reconciliation, but there is still a lot of fighting. Alex followed, even though he didn’t talk anymore and simply came out.
When they came out, I was just gazing at the door.
With his body, he blocked my vision. I didn’t say much. Because I didn’t inform him, I knew he’d scold me again. I forgot to text him since he was gone when I woke up. I had no instructions to leave because there were no helpers yet.
“What brought you here? It’s a long way from our place.” That was the question he posed to me. I didn’t have to hide anything from him, since he was aware of what was going on. After all, I did say the truth.
“Do you recall the paper with anything written on it that was sent to me as a death threat? Someone else texted me in the same way. As a result, I’m considering tracking the location and who utilized it.” While toying with my nail, I explained to him.
His face saddened, and I removed my hand that was holding his. “Why did not you tell me? I can help you. Don’t you trust me? ”
“No. Of course, I d-do.” I know I’m not sure about my answer, but I want Randall to prove that I really should trust him. I was scared because I didn’t know if I would be able to cope when I learned a big revelation about him.
We’re merely discussing what happened. I also told him I couldn’t recall what happened before I passed out. Why did I faint? The last thing I remember is gazing out the window at the patio while Alex was upstairs. That, according to Randall, might be the result of memories. My brain should not be triggered, according to the doctor.
Randall’s phone rang in the middle of our talk. He grabbed it from his pocket and hung up the phone. It rang again as he was about to hang up the phone. I took it and answered it.
