Incoming call

I completely averted my gaze and turn my back away from him. My tears continued to pour as I shut the door. My old foot hard bones seemed to melt away. My previously tight posture had been utterly destroyed.
So that no one could hear my sobs, I covered my mouth with my palm.
I’d like to know why I’m feeling this way. I wanted to love him with all my heart, but he was like a piece that needed to be fitted together. He appears to be a query disguised as a secret. He’s my husband, yet I have no idea what his favorite color is. I know I don’t have feelings for him yet, but my heart feels like it’s being hammered.
The next morning, I awoke to the sound of my phone ringing. While my eyes were still closed, I was seeking for it using my hands next to my pillow, and when it was answered, it was just in my ear, ready for the caller to speak.
“What? What happened to you and Randall? Did you immediately give in to his sweet words?” That was Ava’s opening to me. I didn’t answer because until now I was still not in the mood.
I suddenly remembered today’s date. The end of the month is near and I need medicine again. Even though I was still drowsy, I got up, took a towel, and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower, but I still had the phone with me. My eyes were half-closed when I answered Ava on the other line. “Are you going to do anything now? I’m going to my doctor today to get a new prescription. Accompany me to ask about the medicine you discovered.” I turned on the water in the bathtub and it started to run.
“Why do you even inquire? Why don’t you just ask Helena, the witch?” Her tone of speaking was devoid of any sarcasm.
“Huh? Are you already insane? Why would I take a medication that I know will not help me and will lead to a mishap?” Because of what she said, my voice raised slightly.
“I’m talking about something. Isn’t it and easier to get an answer when the problem itself is the one that gave the problem?” Her voice is much more vibrant this time.
“I do not comprehend.”
“I mean, why don’t you just let Helena give you the answers on her own? You won’t ask her directly. Remember that not all difficulties are easy to fix; sometimes a deeper examination is required since we are unaware of other underlying problems.”
I kind of comprehend what she wants to convey, but I still don’t entirely understand. As she stated in philosophy, I said nothing. When I didn’t say a thing, she laughed.
“Okay, let me clarify what I mean. Take Helena’s drugs, and we’ll figure out why she’s acting this way. What’s the explanation behind this? If the reason is your company, we’ll look into it further. Why did she only act now? Why not when your parents are still alive? Isn’t she entitled to the inheritance, given that Archer is also your father’s son? Aren’t you curious? And they identified no suspect in the explosion. To the death of your parents? What if the snake is already operating inside of your company?” Everything is now clear to me. Fortunately, Ava was here to explain the flaws and loopholes of the things they told me.
After she said that, there was an incoming call again.
Aunt Helena.
