The next morning I got up, wore my clothes, kissed Nancy’s forehead, and went to see my little princess. I slowly open the door and there! She was sleeping just like me and I loved it. She is going to be my daughter anyways so it’s good that she is more like her father.
I feel incomplete without seeing her, I came closer to her, kissed her forehead and was about to leave but suddenly heard her mumbling in her cute voice “Nice uncle, come play with me” at first I thought that she was awake but when I looked at her face her eyes were closed I smiled and left.
My driver was waiting at the gate. I hopped inside the car. I was feeling fresh. I felt like I needed Nancy by my side soon. It’s getting tough to sleep without her by my side and I can’t sneak into the house every day. The feeling of holding her gives me a warm feeling which completes me.
Owen’s POV
I went to my Dad’s place as I had to activate my plan to get my girls (Nancy and Angie) at my side and I need my Dad’s help in this. I freshened up in my room and had breakfast with my Dad and as expected he agreed to help me without any condition.
My Dad likes Nancy a lot; he didn’t mind her being a single parent. After breakfast with my Dad, I came to my office. My mind is always filled with the thoughts of the person who left a girl like Nancy. I am happy that that person left her and I am blessed to have her in my life but I still feel that who was that fool.
I was working when Zack knocked my door and after my permission, he entered with a file in his hands and handed that file to me and said “please check and let us know the next step”
I nodded while keeping the file on my working desk and asked him “news broke?”
He nodded positively. I opened the file and saw that Malcolm had booked a party hall for his engagement ceremony in our most expensive hotel I smirked and said to Zack “upgrade their booking for presidential party hall without charging extra”
Zack was surprised to hear me because our earning for the presidential party hall was billions for one booking and he also knew how much I love Nancy. I didn’t reply to him and waved him to leave.
I was waiting for this, I knew that Malcolm will not settle for less, and no other hotel has any competition for Johnson’s hotel when it comes to luxuries. He will try to give his best to Nancy which I appreciate because Nancy deserves the best but the problem is he is trying to get engaged to my baby in my property. An evil grin formed on my face and I mumbled ‘wrong move Malcolm’.
Nancy POV
I got up and I was feeling fresh. I had a good sleep. I love hugging my teddy but why my teddy was on the floor because as much as I feel I was hugging my teddy and sleeping peacefully. I thought maybe while sleeping I might have kicked my teddy.
I immediately got up from the bed and put my teddy on my bed and went to check Angie without even brushing my teeth.
When I was on the way to Angie’s bedroom I heard Angie and Riya talking and giggling downstairs.
I went down and saw both of them were having breakfast with Malcolm. I was surprised to see him here early in the morning and I was still in my sleepwear.
I thought of going back to my room and freshen up and come back but Riya noticed me and called “Hey Nancy! Come here”
I smiled awkwardly and headed towards the table. I can feel Malcolm’s gaze on me and I was feeling a little uncomfortable. I sat next to Angie when Riya came closer to me and said: “hey what happened to your lips and what’s on your neck?”
I had not seen myself since morning. I didn’t know what she was talking about. I was asked: “what happened?” Riya opened the front camera of her phone and said “have a look.
I was surprised because my lower lip was a little swollen and I had some marks on my neck. Then I remembered and said “Ah! Yesterday I felt like mosquitos were biting me, maybe I might have scratched while sleeping, we should have a pest control”
Riya nodded and sat back. Malcolm said “Nancy, please get ready fast for your breakfast we need to go to finalize your dress for engagement”
I nodded, I don’t know why but I was not happy with this engagement but I always try to pacify myself saying that ‘I am doing this for Angie’
After some time I came back to my room to freshen up while brushing my teeth. I noticed the mark on my neck. I touched it and felt weird. It does not look like a mosquito bite so I thought what else it could be, I just swapped out the thought and got ready after taking the bath.
I, Angie Malcolm, and Riya settled down in his car and drove to the shopping mall where the boutique shop was located followed by Malcolm’s bodyguard’s cars . One was in front of us and the other was behind.
