I can’t take it anymore, slowly…Ashley is slipping away from my hand, I have to do something. I’ve been waiting for years, I even stoop so low to become her secretary all because I want to get close to her, years I’ve been by her side.
I walk forward and open the curtains of my room with my hand fisting by my side.
“Ashley Bonifacio I don’t care how many more people I have to eliminate just to get you and make you mine, I don’t care the type of action I’ll have to take to have my damn dick buried inside your hole one day marking you mine……”
I smirk at my own thought and took a cigarette from the tray on top of my table. I lightened it with a lighter and took a heavy drag, puffing it upwards in the air
“I didn’t come back with you to Los Angeles for you to start your lovey-dovey tail with your ex, Ashley whether you like it or not you are mine….. and if you can’t be mine….. nobody else will have you”
I took more drag from my cigarette, I’m damn angry, I need to act fast that Nicklaus of a guy doesn’t look like just a normal business tycoon
I was still in thought when my phone rang, I pulled it out
“Speak…..” I groan to whoever that’s on the line
“Boss there’s a problem”
“Spill it fool…”
“Boss we found out that Nicklaus sent one of his men to trace you in the afternoon, though we caught him and kill him”
“Fuck!” I growl stomping my feet on the floor
“James…”
“Yes boss, you and the boss should be on alert ”
“Yes boss”
“And one more thing, find out every detail about Nicklaus Baldwin…. you know what I mean”
“Yes boss”
” Tomorrow morning I want to have every detail about him in my palms”
“Yes boss”
“Hmmm” I muttered and hung up
I smirk, I was right after all Nicklaus Baldwin is deceiving society with business, now let’s see what you really are…
I could remember his stares….. how he kept on looking at me in the meeting,
I began pacing around my room, I need to act fast, time is no longer on my side, what if Ashley suddenly decided to go back to him
No…no….. I can’t take it, I suddenly stop on my track when a thought cross my mind
The tattoo…the tattoo I saw on Nicklaus’s hand but I didn’t see it well because his suit covered it, If I can be able to see it clearly and tell if it’s that sign then clearly it means one thing……
“But this day’s people normally get that tattoo so it doesn’t mean if he has it, he belonged” My conscience reminds me, making me confused
“Who are you, Nicklaus Baldwin?” I ask myself
I decided to sit down since a lot of thought was going on in my head, I was still seated when a thought crossed my mind
I stood up immediately and walk towards the drawer and pulled out a file, a smile appeared on my face, as I smile wickedly
“Now Ashley, let’s see how you don’t come running back to me” I smirk, I kissed the file in my hand as my mind flashback to yesterday when we came back from the office

“Hey Marcus”
“Yes dear”
“Take hold of this power of attorney, I collected it from my lawyer today, I would be needing it by the weekend so till then help me keep it”
“Okay” I muttered and took it

I smile, Ashley I’m sorry for what I’m about to do, but you left me with no choice, and thanks for trusting me with your most precious asset
I’m going to make you sign off all your property to me, and that would be happening this night. Tomorrow morning when I arrive at the office, I will be the new owner of BONIFACIO IMPORT AND EXPORT EMPIRE.
I will make you to come running back to me but this time around, you will need to get married to me so we could own the Empire together
It will be all over the media, I will be ten times richer than I was…even your so-called ex will see me own you,
“Ashley you are mine…” I chuckled, I fold the file, with one thought in my head, I walk off to Ashley’s room
I stood before the door of her room, but surprisingly the door was open which is unlike Ashley’s, I opened the door slowly and was shocked to see Ashley sitting on the bare floor with bottles of alcohol scattered on the ground.
I rushed toward her as she was about to take another gulp from the bottle,
“Ashley, what are you doing?” I ask and take the bottle away from her
“My…. my….” She stuttered,
I watch as a tear slipped down her eyes and that alone got me burning in fury, wishing to know the mother fucker that made her like this
“Ashley, why are you like this?” I ask shaking her shoulders for her to talk
“Why…. why does my heart still beat for him,” She ask looking drunk as fuck, her hair scattered
“Why??” She smiles holding my cheeks with puppy eyes,
I gritted my teeth, knowing that she’s like this only because of that bastard.
I cleared my throat
“Ashley…”
“Hmmm….” She smiles at me, I know she’s acting like this only because she’s drunk, and I’m happy about that. She’s going to sign this file without knowing…
This is the best and only opportunity I have to get her to sign this, by tomorrow the story will be different, I smile and brought out a pen from my pant pocket and put it in her palms
“What’s this for?” She pouted, looking at me with half-closed eyes
“Ermm…you have to sign this document I forgot to give it to you in the office, I need it for the presentation”
I muttered looking around to make sure nobody is coming
“Are you sure…….” She slurred and made to lay her head on the seat but I held her still
“Sign the paper first before sleeping”
“Okay,” She smiles sleepily, and looks at the papers then turn to me,
“Are you sure?” She asks again, already making me impatient
“Yes Ashley, sign it I need to go and work”
“Okay….” She muttered and look at the papers again
“Where do I sign”
“Here……” I pointed showing her the places and watched her sign them.
I exhaled as she signed the whole document, with a smile on my face
“Anywhere else?” She asks sleepily
“No…. you can sleep now” I smirk and help her lay on the couch.
I stood up and watch the woman that trusted me so much,
“Ashley Bonifacio, you just sign in your downfall, good luck” I smile and walk out with the papers
