Chapter Forty-Four – Don’t Rih me.
Rihanna’s POV
An Alpha being my mate was commendable. But I am on my way to being an Alpha myself. So… I’d pass.
I figured Alpha Jaden was my mate, when I came close to the courtroom and sniffed him.
I knew his scent, just it was mingled with a sweeter scent.
Lana was excited, I wasn’t. I made Ray leave so the connection will be broken, I didn’t want him to distract me. He alone should catch my scent.
Chris turned to Alpha Jaden as I winked at him, was he being jealous? He shouldn’t, we were over! And no relationship was starting though.
“No!” he replied.
I smirked, snapping my fingers and my warriors stationed the buckets around the Alphas, except Black Rose. They were my allies.
“In ten minutes, all those Alphas will have their insides melted out. In one minute, you can sign that and give my pack all rights a pack have.”
I took a step closer to me. “Chris, in case you didn’t hear what this guard said.” I pointed at the guard who had a knife to his chest.
“I have Vanessa. She’s being beaten brutally by one of my warriors cos, well, she’s a jerk. And have always been. So…” I tilted my head.
It was actually cute when Chris quickly picked the treat and scanned through it on hearing Vanessa was being beaten.
“This doesn’t make you a pack, Rih…”
“Don’t Rih me!” I barked. “I am Your Silver to you. Your one and only nemesis. Don’t you dare Rih me.” I pointed at his shocked face.
The Alphas gave him both pleading and condescending looks. I strolled to them, Red Moon Alpha exactly.
“Just to let you know, Beta Gaius died staring at the body of the prettiest lady in the world.” I mocked.
I overhead Alpha Jaden growl. Was he annoyed to hear that? I glared at him. “I’m being nice with your pack, Jaden, but it’s thanks to Jonah.”
He met my gaze and even if it didn’t have disgust, it didn’t have full support. I cared less and turned away.
“Signed?” I asked Chris, walking towards him.
He threw the treat at me. “Yes. Let Vanessa go.”
“Okay. But not the Alphas, right?” I joked.
“Let all of them go, Rih…”
“It’s Your Silver.” I corrected again, with a glare.
He bit his lips, exhaling. “Let them go, Your Silver. And no pack will hunt you or your warriors.”
The Alphas began growling angrily, and in disagreement. They looked like rabid dogs doing that.
It made me start a fit of hysterical laughter and the warriors joined me. “Y’all look so piteous. But since we are under one Kingdom….”
I nodded at warrior and she began taking out each bucket of silver, one by one.
“I’d let you go, by my own mercy.” I ended.
The effect of the Silver will make them all weak for a few days and by then, my warriors and I would have settled down in our new land.
The new land was between Red Moon and Black Rose and consisted of all the small packs that were raided.
I hoped the girls will feel at home, while rebuilding their lands again.
“So, since my treaty is signed and I’ve made my glorious presence known. I’d be taking my leave.” I wriggled my fingers at everyone.
“Dara, you can stop beating Vanessa now.” I mind linked to Dara as we all walked away.
All the silver buckets were gone but everyone was still weak to chase.
“I stopped a long time ago, she wasn’t strong enough to endure and it’s sad, ‘kill her’ wasn’t your order.” Dara replied.
A smile came to my face. Vanessa still had those princess privileges that didn’t make her train?
She was more than a useless mate to Jonah.
I strolled into Vanessa’s room where Dara was, a small pint of blood was on the bed were the princess laid.
Her eyes went up when she saw me. “Rihanna?”
I wanted her to call me Rihanna, she never did then. It was always ‘bitch’ or ‘you’. Now, I was in a position to be called by my name.
I still corrected her. “It’s Your Silver to you too, bitch.” I took out silver from the bucket and rubbed on my hands to prove I was Your Silver.
Her eyes enlarged and dilated, she was short of words. As she should. Her hair was scanty and skin, bruised. She’d need days to heal too.
“I paid you a visit after I heard Delta Jonah didn’t want you. As someone that was one unwanted, I feel your pain.”
Even if she was deaf, she should be able to hear the sarcasm and mock in those words. Her eyes narrowed at me.
“You didn’t die and you destroyed the peace of the man that rejected you. You are still…” I slapped her face before she finished.
“I feel nothing, except sympathy with Chris. I’d have waited for a while and take my revenge but they were changes in plans.” I explained.
Camilla, who had been at outside the palace, alerted me that the royal warriors were coming closer.
So far we’ve infiltrated with little attention but now, we’d have to go. “So bye and stay a bitch!”
My warriors hurriedly climbed down the wall of the palace while I used the last minute to glare down at Vanessa, now under me.
I may not have destroyed all Black Hills warriors or slapped that Alpha Wayne on the face, I may not be able to now I am an Alpha under his son, but I was glad I came today and made a mark.
“Alpha Your Silver!” Camilla called, waving. The warriors laughed and I pouted. “Too long?”
They nodded.
“Call it Alpha Rihanna then. There’s no need for too much formalities.”
They all nodded and we began heading for our pack land. They would be a lot of rebuilding and relocating to do.
And good thing Boots and Rivers Market were nearby. Who’d be my Beta was still unknown to me.
Dara was lead warrior and Camilla, a Delta. Beatrice was still far away to assume Beta position and the coronation had to happen soon.
“Ah, Lana, I am already thinking like an Alpha. It’s sad I haven’t unlocked it yet.” I whined.
“Yes, You are still a higher level Beta but you can take down an Alpha who’s weaker.” She confirmed.
“I expected you to end Red Moon Alpha there.” She added with a huff.
I chuckled. “Trust me, it was tempting but that’d be too vague. Maybe another time.”
A feeling of accomplishment swept over me.
The secret was out now, I could sleep knowing I had put Chris and Jaden in intense emotional distraught. It was very satisfying.
