Chapter Nineteen – Red Moon dares us!
Rihanna’s POV
Dara was injured. I rushed past the girls and checked for her energy core. She was still very much alive.
The Delta was unconscious on the ground. I felt his energy core and he was dying. Red Moon really had guts. To attack a Delta so openly.
I found the sword sheath in the hands of Camilla and she had an injured arm.
“Red Moon dares us! The Delta will stay here till gets better, inform Black Rose, they’d join this fight!” I ordered my warriors and they dispersed.
I was left alone with a doctor and Camilla, Dara was resting on on her thighs. The doctor finished with the Delta and shifted to her.
“Will he survive? Black Rose will misunderstand if after I kidnap him, he dies.” I asked the doctor.
He shrugged. “He’d live but you better send him back, as you send word to Black Rose. To avoid trouble.”
My shoulder slumped but I nodded. He would tell his Alpha what happened and Red Moon would be handled.
That’s if they don’t push the blame on impulsive hunters like they did with Camilla and her team.
“Red Moon Pack never learns. Their new Alpha is just a tyrant as his father!” Camilla clenched her arms, staring down at Dara.
I held her shoulders and rubbed them so she’d calm down. “It’s okay, he won’t do as much harm as his father did. I promise.”
The news was reopening healed wounds, it won’t hurt that much but it’d take another time to heal. The doctor finished with Dara.
“Send the Delta with an explanation from you, Your Silver so Black Rose will understand that you mean no harm.” The doctor suggested.
Camilla nodded as I glanced at her and she placed Dara gently on the bed before leaving to prepare the carriage to take the Delta home.
“You know what to say to them?” The doctor asked, placing her work tools in her box.
I shrugged. Anything but ‘I am Rihanna, sister of Beta Ray of Black Hills’. “I got it, I won’t show my face or say my name.”
“But if they know you’re a female, they’d inform the King. Your father could suspect…”
“He is a fool, I don’t care about him or his wife!” I blurted out, breathing heavily. “He ignored the fact and look where I am, the best place ever.”
She smirked, rising from her crouching position with her box of medical tools. “That’s fair then, but hint on being from another pack.”
After I agreed with a nod, she walked away. I glared at her, she always had a way to push my buttons to make me get her point.
I sighed, walking out of the room, I turned back to the Delta and Dara, my fists clenched. “Red Moon doesn’t know what’s coming for them.”
Outside, Camilla was returning with few warriors to get the Delta into the carriage.
She stopped, seeing me leave the room but the warriors went in. “Will you tell them your real identity?”
“No, only you, Beatrice, Dara and that annoying doctor know my real identity, I won’t be telling any other.” I frowned.
“Stay safe then.” She smiled.
The warriors helped the Delta into the carriage.
I nodded and climbed into it. “Take care of Dara.” I said as the horse began moving.
Finally a mile away from Silver Cave, I started riding in full speed, still being careful not to hurt the Delta.
Rose Valley was getting to view, and so were the wolfs on duty. They weren’t there earlier because the lead hunter informed his Alpha then.
I slowed down the horse, this meant I needed to neutralize them to pass, as I don’t see them peacefully moving away.
The carriage got closer to the border of the Rose Valley, the wolfs ran to me but I placed my boundary, riding faster.
They bounced back, falling safely on the soft roses, one of them shifted and charged at the boundary and broke into it.
My focus had been divided by Jonah becoming awake. “Tell your warriors to stay the hell away or they’d lose their lives!” I shouted at him.
I left the reins of the horse and jumped down, pushing away the wolfs that were trying to kill the horses.
They belonged to me, none of them shall die. I wasn’t a big fan of losing things.
My claws flew out of my fingers and slapped at a wolf, sending him back. I kicked on the next one, while having a protective boundary that slammed on another.
I could feel more wolfs coming and a powerful one amongst them. The energy was similar to the brown wolf I saw the other time so I was sure it was Jake Justin, just the man I needed to see.
Breaking the boundary, I spread it out to knock out the warrior wolfs pestering me, they fell back landing on the roses.
“Jonah, get your ass out! The Red Moon only beat you, they didn’t kill you!” I threw the carriage door open.
The guy was still laying inside the carriage, groaning. What kind of Delta is this?
“The Red Moon eh?!” someone shouted, behind me. I noticed Jonah had rolled his eyes hearing the voice.
I turned to see Jake Justin, a smirk was on my face but he wouldn’t know as I had a face mask on. “Yes, ask your dear Delta.”
A warrior stood up and ran to claw at me but bounced back due to my boundary, I gave him a piteous look. These warriors just never learned.
“You’re a silver wolf? Is that a boundary?” Jake had shock evident in his tone.
I couldn’t quite see his face, as the sun blinded my eyes but I cared less for it, I knew the image I had of him, one I had always had.
“They are two silver wolfs, Jake.” Jonah announced, jumping down the carriage. I raised a brow. What was he doing?
“Two? So there’s another one? And what do they want with you?” Jake asked Jonah, totally ignoring me.
What was this? I am the Your Silver. Was Jonah protecting me in some way or demeaning me?
“Her leader wanted to talk about Red Moon, you know they hate them. Well, as I was released, Red Moon attacked me.”
Jonah marched forward. “And note, Red Moon was very aware of who I was.”
Jake exhaled but spared me no glance. I wasn’t appreciating this. I wanted to see the look on his face when he knew Your Silver was a woman.
But then, it didn’t matter much. I knew they knew amazing women. I went back to the carriage.
“I will go ahead with what was earlier discussed. See you later, take care.” I told Jonah.
I noticed the warriors rose on their feet like they wanted to stop me from leaving.
“Wouldn’t it be amazing to catch at least one of Your Silver’s men, a silver wolf in fact.” Jake Justin sneered.
A smirk grew on my face, as I turned back to him. Of course, I had expected him to try.
