… Two weeks after …
Dimitri and Cade were in their dad’s office, looking through the well-being reports of one of their companies in Spain. Dimitri was putting Cade through what has been going on and how the company has been running for the past years.
Surprisingly to him, Cade was so interested in knowing more about the company, he kept pestering him that he wanted to be involved in the company and would show up at his place early so that they can go to work together.
Donald had said that he wanted Cade to be relaxed as he is settling with how things are and take in what he has missed over these years. They all were happy but still shocked to see him and with all that he explained to them, it seems so unbelievable but he was their long-lost family who came back to them when they least expected it so they welcomed him with open arms.
Cade had been showing a more serious attitude and less of an ‘I don’t really care, I just want to do my thing’ attitude to most things, their father’s business as an example. Something that he had never wanted to have any business with, he came back and was ready to take on any task that involves the business.
Donald had to permit him since he was persistent on knowing more of the business, it was his wish after all and it was manifesting.
Dimitri took a look at his brother and smiled then looked back at the reports on the table before speaking.
“It is really nice to have you around” he comments.
Cade lifts his head to look at him with one of his brows raised, then what he said registered and he offered a smile.
“I am glad that you feel that way, it feels good to be home again and to, you know… take back what’s mine” he leans back on his chair and looked at the confusion Dimitri’s face held.
“What are yo-”
Cade interrupts him with a loud laugh and his palm slamming the table “I am joking, I wanted to see your reaction that’s why I said that” he said to him.
The confused look was now replaced with a smile and he shook his head.
“It makes me remember all the times you make jokes that keep me on the edge… when we were little kids,” Dimitri said with a reminiscing smile on his face.
A little frown formed on Cade’s face as a memory flashed through his mind, he stared intently at Dimitri as he tries to get back those flashes.
“Are you okay?” Dimitri’s voice took him out of his reverie and he released the frown on his face and forced a smile.
“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine” he sat straight and cleared his throat then he stood to his feet and stretched. “I’ll go to the bathroom for a while,” he said then made his way to the door that was some foot away from the couch.
When he got inside the bathroom, the frown returned as he looked into the mirror, those flashes came and went as fast as they came again and that gave him wobbly knees.
“What’s happening to you Cade?” he whispered then held onto the sink to support his wobbly legs.
He could feel his head spin, he was nauseous, his heart was beating fast as the memories he always had after that accident, clashed with the flashes that came to him and it feels like he is actually doing something wrong.
He fell to his knees and sat on the floor so that the spinning could stop.
That feeling had been coming ever since he was told about this family but he didn’t want to disobey his uncle and make him disappointed in him so he just did as he was told to.
He also wondered why what Dimitri said to him triggered those flashes, it was like they were memories they had but it doesn’t seem to exist in his head.
“Something is wrong”

Sofia and Audriana were both seated in Audriana’s living room as they ate some junk food. They needed a break after all the drama that has been happening and the stress that they are going through with their kids’ sporty events that are coming up soon.
Sofia came over with her twins since Max was at work and she had no work to do, she quit her job at the university and started a tour service for people that wants to visit and see all kinds of rare things like Selfth Creswp.
Most times she takes them or just lets her staffs do the work while they give reports on how their customer’s experience was and gave suggestions on how to better their experience.
Audriana on the other hand is still lecturing at Teslundo University and got a promotion about some months after that incident that took away her baby, she couldn’t understand the purpose of the promotion but she did what Sofia encouraged her to do, enjoy it, and don’t think too much about it.
She has an off day today ad would soon go pick up her child from school so she wanted to spend some quality time with her bestie before doing that.
“It’s nice to actually relax after a while,” Audriana said then put a spoonful of ice cream in her mouth.
“You’re a mom, eat properly” Sofia threw her a playful glare.
Audriana rolled her eyes and put another spoon in her mouth “Being a mom doesn’t mean you can’t be a child so, talk to my behind”
“I don’t talk to things lower than mine” she winked and Audriana laughed.
They stayed silent for a moment before Audriana spoke again “I love how happy Miguel is, you know… now he knows that his brother was never actually dead and he could spend so much time with him as he wanted to” she said excitedly “I am so happy for my baby”
“Me too girl, me too but…” Sofia thought for a while with a crease on her forehead. “Don’t you think Cade’s return is kind of strange? Like it has been almost six years, right? Five, six years and he is just showing up now” she shook her head.
“I think detective/analyst Sofia is activated” Audriana shook her head then poked the side of her head “Stop worrying too much and let us enjoy this moment. I am so happy that my husband, his mum, and dad gets to reconcile with their son whom they thought to be dead, I want them to enjoy this”
“Me too, I do but I am ju-”
“Remember what I said about overthinking things?” Audriana asked and Sofia nods “This is one of those times, so let it go and let us bond more, okay?” Sofia nods.
“Fine, I guess that you’re right. I am just overthinking, having kids is stressful” she shook her head and then took the last piece of bun.
“That’s the spirit girl, I don’t have much memory about Cade but I will like to know more about the amazing big brother that Dimitri keeps telling me about”
“I look forward to getting to know him too, there will be more bonding for all the men soon… probably after the sports event is over” she shrugged.
“Maybe” Audriana checks the time on her watch and then sprang up from the couch “I need to go pick up mi ángel” she puts down the now-finished bowl of ice cream and cleaned her hand with tissue paper.
“I’ll wait here for you both, hopefully, my babies haven’t woken up yet” Sofia stood to her feet “I still need to enjoy my break for now” she commented.
Audriana laughed and shook her head then head for the door.
