“What!”, Morena screamed, though she knew the king would never forgive Aurora even though he sensed Aurora is not the killer of his father.
“Aurora, why don’t you tell the king the truth, tell him who the killer of his father was, and you will have the chance to be with him again, I know you love the king, with how he has treated you, still you love him,” Morena said, she wants her to be free from the King torment. Though she didn’t want Aurora to become the king, because she will regret it but she wants her to be free from being a murderer.

As much as Aurora wants to be with Alpha Malik, still she can’t betray her community, especially her father, moreover, her father has sent her sister to come and rescue her, so she wants to have a little patience, and help her sis e the King’s heart since she knows little about the king, then she will be free from the palace.

Angrily Xena strode out of her chamber, to go and meet with the king, she heard the king had removed her from the overseer of the palace activities and given it to the queen.
In a corner along the hallway that led to Alpha Malik’s chamber, she met with Jericho, the king’s stepbrother.
She bowed slightly, with uneasiness on her face, she couldn’t bear to look at his face.
Slightly, about to brush him and go away Jericho suddenly grabbed her hands and pinned her to the wall.
“Is that how to greet a man you shared a bed with?” Jericho said, his tone full of coldness.
Instead of Xena to reply to him, she shot him a deadly glare, she didn’t care about his cold aura, she vowed not to fall into his trap, or his threats anymore.
“It seemed you have gained more liver, ’cause I traveled,” Jericho said, and his expression changed, looking more friendly.
“And I think, you want your head butcher, I think you should mind your speech around me, what did you think the king will do, if he find out, you forcefully laid with his woman,” Xena said with all confidence, though within her, she was shivering like a rat caught by a cat.
Everyone feared Jericho, except the king who didn’t bother about his brother, though he knew about the palace whispering that his brother want to dethrone him, everyone see Jericho as a rival to the throne
“Oh, I see! Sorry for my manners, the king’s mistress,” Jericho said sarcastically, and it pained Xena. What she wanted is a wife, not a mistress or Concubine.
“Yes, the king’s favorite among his women, always remember that ” Xena said, and brushed away from her hand.
She sighed deeply unknown to Jericho and walked away and she felt relieved. She is like a student on an examination seat when she was near Jericho.
A little devilish smile escaped Jericho’s mouth, “You will run back to me when the time comes. You and I will rule this kingdom together since my dick only yearned for your touch,” Jericho said, stroking his beard, scrutinizing around, and walking away.
As soon as Jericho left the hallway, Aurora came out of her hiding, she heard everything Jericho said, she was going to Nneka’s chamber, when she sighted Jericho blocking Xena, out of curiosity she hid to eavesdrop on them.
“, this life,” Aurora said with gritted teeth. She looked around to see if anyone was around, but when she didn’t see anyone she scurried out of the hall away, contemplating informing queen Nneka about Jericho’s earnest wish.
