I was shocked when I saw Rosie staring down at me with her sea-blue eyes. She folded her hands and snarled at me. If she wasn’t snarling right now, she would have appeared pretty.
” Good day miss” I greeted bowing my head a little.
” No one needs your greeting right now. Can’t you see that you bumped into me?” She asked
I was irritated right now. She came at me first ” I’m sorry. It was a mistake ” I apologized instead.
She wasn’t having it still. It was as if she had time for me today and it’s so annoying. All I need right now is a little bit of rest and peace of mind.
” You filthy ingrates. Do you think I don’t know how you kept doing what you do to impress the King? News flash little girl, I own him and you should be aware of that ” she said as she wiggled her finger in my face.
This is the most stupid analysis I’ve ever heard ” Have your mind at rest Miss Rosie, I have no intention of taking the king Alpha from you. I don’t know why you see me capable of going after the alpha, a maid just like me ?” I said feeling myself.
She opened her mouth to talk but no words came out ” Just stay away from him ”
” I’m always away from him ” I shot back
She glared hard ” even if you win the fight, I’ll make sure I hit you so hard that you’ll regret ever coming to this palace ”
I was surprised by all the hate. I don’t even know her and we’re not even friends so I wonder why she has so much hate from me. She reminds me of Madusa ( the hateful witch). I remember that story close to my heart.

I just hope that one day you’ll see the true person I am. She still had the scroll on her face ” you think your little act will change my mind about you? Never. I am Rosie and when I dislike someone I make them disappear with just the click of the finger ”
I sighed ” I guess you have your mind made up already so I’ll just let you have your say”
From the look in her eyes I know she wants to slit my throat if she had the chance. But babe doesn’t know that I was ready for him
” You are nothing but a mute ” she gritted out.
I scowled ” Don’t call me that you two face bitch” I clasped my mouth immediately those words left my mouth.
She was shocked” Did you just called me a two-faced bitch? Did you just used the swear words on me ?”
I was scared not for her though but for what was to come, the punishment I might receive.
” I’m sorry” was the only thing I can say. I tried making her see how regretful I was but she just won’t listen to any of it and it’s so annoying.
” Just know that I’ll report you to the Alpha and trust me, I’ll make you regret it the hard way. You don’t know who I am and I’ll show you who I am and what I can do to you” she said slyly.
I mentally rolled my eyes not ready for her shenanigan. My wolf was also vexed right now with her but I tried calming her down before she attack unexpectedly putting me in trouble in the process.
” I said I was sorry”
She eyed me then turn around to take her to leave. She is a pest and I couldn’t agree more with Jemima. If I was the alpha I’d have drove her out of the pack. She needs to be told the truth. The fact is I don’t even know her or even talked to her. The only time I saw her was on the fighting ground and rumors I heard around. Then why is she suddenly on my case then? Is this some form of conspiracy?
I watch as her figure finally disappears from afar. I don’t know what to do now, I don’t have the strength for any punishment. I just hope the King judges fairly.
I ended my thought and made my way to the maid’s section where my friends were already waiting for my arrival.

Ashley made a face ” why would she do that? You did nothing wrong at all”
I told them what happened on my way from the gym. They were so angry that I even apologized.
” If I were you I won’t apologize and if I’m being called for confrontation then I’ll deny it to bit” Lena vent out.
I chuckled at how they both took it, here I thought they’ll blame me ” Guys, calm down no need to be angry about it. I’ll handle it, trust me on that ”

Third-person pov
Raphael tossed and turned on the bed. He felt disturbed for reasons he didn’t understand. The worst is that his wolf kept telling him that their mate is the reason why they felt this way. He groaned then got up. This started on the day he brought in the visiting packs members and not one has felt this way before then.
He put on his slippers and went to stand by the window. He dragged the curtain and couldn’t help but stare at the bright stars.
Rafael’s mind and soul were consumed with worry, worried about never finding his mate ever again. He needed someone in his life for his sanity. He craved to have his mate with him right now. The way he feels right now is surreal. It was as if his mate was close but far to get in touched with.
Who are you? He wondered.
The witch ones told him to be prepared. These days to come will be full of good and bad news but was confused if his mate was the good knew and what might the bad news be. He rubbed his face out of frustration. Then suddenly, his mind went to the maid, the charcoal eyes lady who had to be the center of his thought lately. The way she hugged him made him feel complete, he doesn’t understand the feeling.
If she was his mate then he would have perceived the scent but he heard nothing. Her scend was bland too bland for someone in heat.
Most ladies in heat have their scent spreading around making another unmated wolf wild for them but hers did nothing. Why is that? He wondered.
He stared down at the maid section. His possession was there but what could it be? So many thoughts swirled around his head that he was beginning to fear if he was ok.
No one dares to hug the alpha but why wasn’t he able to punish him for touching him. He felt some kind of connection that he wished she never let go of. Her beauty was insane, her eyes are what drives him more to her. She is fierce and didn’t hide that fact about her.
He could look at those charcoal eyes till eternity.
“Are you crazy Raphael? That’s someone mate ” his wolf reminded.
“But why is she driving us crazy?”
Rex his wolf slumped his shoulder ” I don’t know too. I’m confused myself.
” But you should know as you have more sensing power than I am, ” Rafael told his wolf.
Raphael dropped the curtain and went back to their seat on his bed, his head in his hand, he let out a loud sigh.
” What am I going to do with her ?” He questioned himself.
