I nodded ” I don’t have an alpha blood in me m

I picked up the cup of water beside me and have a drink from it. I was wary of her stare, she didn’t say anything but the way she looked at me have lots of meaning. After I dropped the cup, I decided to instigate a conversation to stop her from whatever thought she was having about me.
” So I heard about the upcoming fight …” I regretted it immediately.
Jemima’s face formed into what looks like a scowl ” Yeah so I heard”
” Oh” I didn’t want to press and I think she knew I noticed her changed mood.
” Don’t mind me ” she released a deep breath ” I just find everything stupid. How can they just set a fight and then state that the winner fights Rosie! Who does that? It’s not fair. Fighting Rosie is one big task because I know that girl uses black magic to fight ”
I was shocked by this.
She realized what she said so she covered her mouth with her hand ” I shouldn’t have said that”
So she knew? I thought I was the only one that witness it.
” what do you mean by that?” I asked pretending to be shocking news.
Jemima stood up, she paced around the room ” Don’t tell anyone I said that ”
I Sat upright ” you need to calm down Jemima. You are not the only one that noticed that, I also noticed that too on that day ”
She snapped her head in my direction ” Really?”
I nodded ” Yes, It was like a shadow. I saw the figure and couldn’t be more surprised. I also thought I was the only one that saw it too”
She sighed in relief
” But why didn’t you say anything? You have all the right to speak out as the Alpha’s daughter” I asked.
” I wish it was simple as you put it. If you were a member of this pack, you’ll know that people don’t respect me since I’m the Mistress daughter” She revealed and I couldn’t be more shocked.
She saw my shocked face so she sighed ” yes, you heard right. I’m the Mistress daughter and in this pack, someone like me is like shit to them so you see why Rosie has more followers and authority than me ”
I felt really bad for her ” But don’t your brother have a say in this?”
” Raphael has done more than enough ”
Raphael? Is that King Alpha’s name?

My wolf howled, excited to finally know mate’s name and I couldn’t be happier too. The name sounds so foreign.
I blushed after realizing how she was looking at me ” Don’t tell me you’re already having a crush on my brother ?”
I’m sure my face was like a tomato right now ” God no!” I denied

Jemima giggles. Who would have thought she can be this nice. There is this question that baffles me since she told me about her being a Mistress daughter so I decided to ask her about it.
” What about your mom?” I blurted out making her freeze.
” My mom?”.
I nodded ” Yes. I don’t know if I should be asking you this” …
” Well my mom is late,” She said with a shrug. This lady is full of mysteries and I can’t help but want to know more about her ”
I didn’t say anything else for the rest of the time. Today’s revelation is just too much to handle

I stared at my reflection in the mirror glad to see the strong girl before me. My charcoal eyes popped, indicating how prepared I was for the fight. I won’t let my love ones down, it’s a promise I made to myself.
I picked up my sword, attached it to the case, and hang it around my pants. I was ready. I finally got out of the restroom only to see my friends waiting patiently for me. They smiled widely upon seeing my outfit.
” Oh wow! You look good in them” Ashley was awed.
I blushed ” Thanks I guess”
” I never knew you had all the figures in the right place. If I were your mate, I’d claim you right now ” Lena joked and I burst out laughing. That girl is just something else.
” Thank goodness you are not my mate then ”
She nodded” True. But on a serious note, you look really good and I’m so proud that I’m your friend”
” Aw Lena, you always make me want to tear up with your sweet words. Gosh, I love you too dear” I went to hug her.
” This is pure cheating. Aren’t I suppose to be hugged too” Ashley started feeling jealous.
We pulled away and I went to hug Ashley ” you know I’ll hug you, my jealous friend.” She hits my shoulder lightly.
” Oww, that hurts a lot,” I said as I rubbed the place.
She tongues out at me ” you deserve it ”
” Stop being mean, ” I told her.
” Girls, we need to be at the ground now. It’s already time ” Lena announced out of the blue.
I snapped my head to her “Really?” She nodded showing me what the time says.
” We need to get going Asap”
