I hide behind a big tree ready to implement the plan. Stella was already talking to the guards. My heart thumped in my chest as everything seems to go slow.
The more I think about Zion the more guilty I become. Jeanette also have no idea of what I was about to do. I seem like the bad person now.
I decided not to get too consumed by my thoughts to not fail the plan. I don’t know what Stella was saying to the guards but they seem interested. The last guard finally went to join them and that was my cue to leave.
Stella carefully looked at my side to not draw suspicion. I knew that was my cue to leave and I did exactly that. The moment I was out of the gate I turned around and I could catch Stella’s gaze, she nodded. I ran after that, I ran with everything I got.
This must surely hurt a lot of people and I feel so bad about that.

I yawned as I got up from the bed. I rubbed my eyes and turn to wake Ella up but was surprised to see it empty. She might be in the shower, I thought.
I flexed my muscles a little bit. I felt sour, I guess from the way I slept. Her bed was so tiny that it’s made for only one person. I think it’s time she moves into my room.
I was so stupid for allowing her to come here in the first place. Her place was with me and no one else.
” Love?” I called out but got no reply.
I got down from the bed and just at that moment, someone knocked on the door.
” Who is there?” I asked
” Zion, it’s I Sandra”
I groaned ” Give me a minute to change”
” Oh okay”
I put on a shirt and black trousers. I went to get the door. Sandra stood with worry in her eyes and that got me confused.
” What is it, Sandra?”
” I’m sorry I had to disturb you with her ” her, meaning Ella ” I need you, Zion”
I furrowed my brows confused. I don’t know where she’s driving at.
” What is it, Sandra?” I asked firmly.
” I had the dream again. This time, they came after you” she said with tears and she hugged me ” I can’t help it if anything happens to you. I swear I’ll kill myself”
I rolled my eyes ” You need to get yourself together Sandra. Nothing will happen to me ”
” but the dream felt so real” she stressed.
” and I’m promising you that nothing will happen to me,” I said as I pry her hands from my waist. It won’t be funny if Ella sees us like this.
The thing is, Sandra always have this nightmare ever since her sister had died and whenever she has them, she always comes to me, and being the caring person I was, I always try all I can to appease her mind.
But this was too early. I can’t take this.
” Look Sandra, you need to stop doing this. Right now, I’m with Ella, and it’s not fair having you waking us all just to inform me about your dreams. I have a mate and you need to respect that. ”
” Then what do you have me do?” She said while sobbing ” You are the only family I have zion and now you’re saying this to me. For crying out loud you knew me first before you met her. She needs to understand that.” She was now raising her voice.
” You don’t get to speak to me as you please, I’m still the alpha here ” I warned.
Sandra wiped away her tears ” I’m sorry but try to understand where I’m coming from. I have no one to tell my problem except you and now you’re saying this to me. ”
I rubbed the bridge of my nose out of frustration” You mean everything to me of course but as a sister and there are some setting boundaries you need to understand too.”
” I hate it when you call me that. We are never a sibling so please stop saying that. You know I love you and not just some brotherly love but romantically. Your rejection hurts a lot, Zion. It hurt so much that I’m beginning to think that you don’t want me here and if that’s the case, then I guess I should leave and give you the privacy you always wanted ” she said in anger and stomped away.
I let out a tired sigh. I wasn’t ready for this. I pushed the door and went back inside. I still haven’t seen any sign of Ella. I decided to check into the restroom myself and was surprised to find it empty.
Where could she have gone this early morning? I thought.
I was on to have my bath and then go searching for her.

My guards have searched the whole pack and there was no sign of her. No one has seen her too. I was so furious. How is it even possible that she escaped?
Someone much have been her accomplice. She can’t plan all this on her own if she doesn’t have a partner.
” Get out! All of you are all useless!” I yelled at the guards. ” Just one thing and you couldn’t do it. How can she pass through the thick gate without you seeing her? ” This just shows that you haven’t been doing your job at all”
” Get out!”
They ran out immediately. I took the first thing my hand could touch and flung it across the room.
She mustn’t have gone that far. I need to find her before he does. This time around I’m doing the searching myself. I can’t help it if something bad happens to her. The outside world is so terrible and Ella doesn’t know what she’s going to walk into.
