Stella’s point of view.
The red haired girl glared at me disgustingly, but she didn’t take any action. Who is she, by the way? Why do I sense that she hates me? And why would she hate me?
Mr. huge dick’s sister looked around with a small frown, as though she’s searching for something.
“What are you doing here? Can you even afford to buy a cap here?” she asked, obviously mocking me, then slapped her forehead lightly. “Oh, I forgot you’re a lowlife gold digging slut, your sugar daddy would pay the bills” she concluded and burst into laughter, which her friends joined in instantly.
I kept clenching and unclenching my fists as my vision was slowly turning red, I’m biting my inner cheeks, I’m trying so hard, so hard to keep my cool and honestly. But I don’t think I can hold back for too long.
I want to beat her to a pulp, I would like to teach her that I’m not someone she wants to have as an enemy, but that will only land us in a police station, which would bring Mr. huge d**k into the picture.
And I have vowed that I don’t want to see Mr. huge dick, ever again, I want nothing to do with him…so, it’s better I ignore his foolish sister.
“Come on, Meg” I grabbed Megan’s hand. “Let’s pay for the hat and leave”
“Hm” Megan hummed in response, and we headed towards the cashier.
We were just leaving the scene, when Mr. huge dîck’s sister grabbed my shoulder and made me stop.
“Why are you leaving? Am I the one chasing you out? Or you’re leaving because you can’t pay for that hat?” she asked.
Her voice is loud this time, that it’s drawing attention and a small crowd is forming around us.
“You can give your sugar daddy a call, and ask him to come pay for your hat” there’s pure mockery in her words.
“Let go of my shoulder, or I swear God, you will lose a tooth!” I growled warningly.
She laughed as though I just said the funniest joke of all time.
“Hey, I’m just being a kind-hearted person to give you this kind reminder”
She grabbed my hand that’s holding the hat and raised it up, showing everyone the hat.
“This isn’t some cheap hat, right?” she asked rhetorically, but her eyes were roaming the crowd as though she’s searching for an answer from someone.
I felt Megan tug on the sleeve of my blouse and leaned closer to my ear and whispered.
“Don’t listen to her nonsense, let’s just go”
“Hm” I hummed.
I shrugged her hand off my shoulder and made to leave, but she grabbed my arm this time and prevented me from leaving.
“Let go of my arm” I gritted out.
“What were you thinking of doing? You wanted to leave without paying for it?” she nodded at the hat.
“Let go of me, or you’ll regret holding me in the first place”
“You want to fight me simply because I’m trying to help you?”
I couldn’t hold back anymore, I snatched my hand from hers and landed a punch on her face… Not caring where the fûck my fist landed.
She yelped and staggered back, then her friends stepped forward. The red haired girl supported her and the tomboy came at me, but before I could react, Megan jumped in front of me protectively.
“Don’t you dare!” she growled at the tomboy.
“Your friend just threw a punch at mine” the tomboy growled back.
Megan tilted her head and peeked at Mr. huge dîck’s sister, then scoffed. “Why didn’t you stop your friend when she was insulting mine?”
Seeing as Megan could handle them, I tuned them off and dipped my hand in my bag. I pulled out some cash, and threw it together with the hat at Mr. huge dîck’s sister.
Her head snapped up as she made to say something, but I beat her to it.
“There you go” I nodded at the money on the floor. “I have more than enough money to pay for the hat, but I don’t need it anymore”
I grabbed Megan’s hand and headed towards the exit.
“Hey, what do you mean by that?” she shouted after us.
“I mean, you can use those monies to pay for the hat and also keep the change” I replied without stopping or even turning around.
“You’re…”
That’s the last word I heard from her before Megan and I exited the shop.
I was smiling triumphantly because I didn’t let Mr. huge dîck’s sister and her friends ride on me, but Megan, on the other hand, was fuming because now, she didn’t get to own the hat.
“Come on, don’t be mad at me. I bet you’ll get an even more beautiful hat in another shop” I tried to coax her.
“Oh, really?” she snapped.
“Yeah” I threw an arm around her shoulders. “I’ll buy you a more beautiful hat and a pretty gown”
She rolled her eyes. “Leave me alone” she tried to shrug my arm off, but I didn’t let her.
“Let’s check out that shop” I pointed at a shop in front.
“Hm”
Yes – I screamed mentally because this shop is a low-budget shop – haha.
