*Lala-land’s Private Lesson**
Steams of anger emitted off Stella as she exited Ferguson’s office, she held her bag in a tight grip, and shut the door with a loud bang, then she grumpily stormed towards the elevator. She was so blinded with anger that she didn’t watch where she was going, and ended up bumping into Rob who was carrying some files, and was also rushing to see his boss.
“Sh*t!”
She cursed immediately she bumped into him, and the files fell and scattered all over the place. She puffed out some air as she stared at the scattered files, they seemed pretty mixed up by now.
“I’m so sorry, I’m deeply sorry” she apologized quickly without raising her head. “Here, I’ll help you” then she squatted and began picking up the files.
Rob chuckled at her reaction, which made her look up at once, and sighed in relief when she realized it was Rob she bumped into, and not someone else.
“Thank God” she sighed again. “I thought it was someone else, then I’ll have to go through the trouble of going back to that sh*t hole to explain things to your boss” she spat out the word ‘boss’ while glaring towards the direction of Ferguson’s office.
“Whoa” Rob chuckled. “Sh*t hole? Weren’t you just having a great lesson in that sh*t hole?”
She didn’t respond to that, but shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly instead.
“Alright, what’s going on? Why do you seem upset with my boss?” he asked.
They’re finally done picking up the files, Stella handed her bunch to him and looked right in his eyes.
“Listen to me, Rob” he nodded attentively. “Your boss is an a*shole!”
Then she stormed off without waiting for Rob’s reply, giving him a middle finger, and added. “This is for your boss, not you”
Rob laughed and nodded as he watched her leave.
“She’s definitely going to be the death of Mr. Alfonso,” he said, then continued his journey to his boss’s office.

*Ceo’s office – Lala-land’s Private Lesson**
“I have sorted these files per your instruction, sir” Rob reported immediately he stepped into his boss’s office.
“Hm” Ferguson hummed.
He gestured Rob to drop the files at a corner on his desk, then twirled around his chair, and faced the glass window.
He signaled Rob to leave, but he (Rob) didn’t, he stayed behind and studied his boss for a moment, then realized he seems stressed.
“Uh, excuse me, sir?”
“Hm?”
“Is everything alright?”
Ferguson didn’t seem to understand Rob’s question, so he tilted his head, and Rob, who already understood his boss was asking him to elaborate, replied.
“I saw Miss McCartney leaving in a fit of anger, and when I tried to inquire what happened, she cursed you and left”
There was silence for a moment, then Ferguson twirled his chair around again, and faced Rob with a small frown.
“She cursed me?” he asked.
“Yes”
He leaned forward slightly, his hands rested on his desk, with his chin resting on his knuckles.
“I’m afraid I can’t say it”
“Why?”
“I don’t intend to find another job soon” Rob replied with a light chuckle.
But Rob sobered up quickly when he saw Ferguson’s expression wasn’t funny at all, he gulped, and took a step back. Ferguson’s eyebrows furrowed, his hand fisted on his desk, and he gave Rob a look that made him think twice about his decision.
“She called you an a*shole, sir” he reported.
He patiently waited for some reaction from his boss, but there’s none. Ferguson simply leaned back on his chair, closed his eyes and inhaled deeply -then nodded as though he understood something.
“I believe she’s just throwing tantrums, after all, I ended her class today” he said.
“HUH?” Rob shouted in shock.
This made his boss raise a questioning eyebrow at him.
“Why would you even think of ending her class, sir?”
“Excuse me?”
His boss is surprised at his outburst.
“Have you forgotten, sir? Her classes just started two days ago” he slapped his forehead lightly. “Why did you do that? Are you even thinking? She’s…”
His words stuck in his throat, and he flinched back at the sound of a loud bang on the desk.
His mouth fell open as he locked eyes with his boss, it was at this moment he knew that he had crossed a boundary.
“Tell me, who’s the boss around here?”
Rob pointed at him -Ferguson.
“Words!”
“It’s you, sir”
Ferguson nodded. “Then her session is over when I said it’s over, got it?”
“Yes, sir” Rob sighed. “I’m sorry for reacting the way I did, sir, I was just feeling sorry for her”
“You’re feeling sorry for her?”
Rob nodded.
“And why would that be?”
“I mean, I just think there are still many things she hasn’t learned yet”
Ferguson stood up, he walked towards the mini bar in his office, and reached for a wine, then poured himself some.
He stared at the wine inside the wine glass, then shook it slowly and took a sip.
“She doesn’t need my guidance anymore, Rob, I’ve taught her more than enough to help her pass her audition”
“But, she…”
He cut him (Rob) with a raise of his hand.
“I said, three days is more than enough for her to pass her audition!” he snapped, clearly feeling irritated with Rob’s nagging. “Keeping her around seems to be changing me, and I don’t like the change”
Rob smiled at this comment, it’s almost as if he’s been waiting to hear it.
“What do you mean, sir?” He asked, which earned him a glare, but he didn’t flinch, it’s as if he already knew Ferguson would react that way.
“My friends think I’m being jealous and possessive of her, they are starting to think I have some feelings for her which obviously ain’t true”
Rob gave him the “really?” expression, but it was just for a second so as not to offend him further.
“You know me, Rob, getting jealous or possessive over women isn’t my thing”
“Yes, but is Stella really just another of those women to you?”
Ferguson paused, he stared at Rob with a deep frown, and angrily threw his glass across the office, not minding whatever it hit.
“Great! Even you think she means something more to me!”
Rob raised his hands in surrender, and raced towards the door.
“She is nothing to me, she’s just my student, and that she’ll ever be to me! Ever!” he growled angrily, pulling on his hair, and angrily punching the wall nearest to him.
Rob apologized quickly, then dashed out of the office before either one of them gets hurt.
