Third person’s point of view.
Lala-land’s Private Lesson.
Rita flinched back slightly and fell on the chair behind her when Ferguson banged on the table, she looked away from him immediately she saw the exceeding anger in his eyes.
“What the hell was that all about, Rita?!” he roared wrathfully at her, which made her shiver in fear, but she was quick to push that fear aside and rolled her eyeballs.
“Don’t tell me you’re yelling at your sister over a fuçking whore right now”
“SHE’S NOT A WHORE, SHUT THE FUÇK UP!” he roared in her face.
She simply huffed and got up, then pushed Ferguson out of her way before striding towards big glassy window, and began wiping it slowly, with her palm.
“You have no right to yell at me or even think of scolding me because of that slut, what were you expecting? That I’d compliment her for trying to break another woman’s home?”
Ferguson balled his fist tightly as though he’s trying to hold himself back, before he’d do something he’s gonna regret, but then his eyebrows furrowed instantly when he replayed Rita’s last line, and he seemed very confused.
“Another woman’s home? What’s that supposed to fuçking mean?” he asked.
“Don’t pretend like you don’t know what I’m talking about, Gus”
She turned around to face him, she dipped her hand in her pocket and pulled out her phone, she scrolled through it for a very short while, before the screen to him and showed him the photo of a woman in her.
Ferguson on the other hand, stared at the photo with an even more confused expression and he gave her a questioning look, which she scoffed at before snatching her phone back.
“Who’s she? Is she a supermodel? How come I don’t know her?”
Rita scoffed again.
“She ain’t no supermodel, she’s your fiancee!”
“Oh”
He snatched Rita’s phone again and stared at the photo for a moment, then sighed and shook his head in disappointment.
“Em… I think Stella’s more beautiful, I prefer her” he said and shoved the phone back in Rita’s hand.
He rounded the table and sat back on his office chair, he turned on his laptop then began scrolling through and reading some files.
“When are you gonna come home? Mom’s being inviting Claudia over for dinner recently, aren’t you gonna come over to have dinner with her?”
Ferguson ignored her words as though he didn’t hear her and continued what he’s doing.
“You should come over tonight or maybe some other night, at least, that would reassure her that you’re interested in her”
She paused and waited for her brother to say something but he didn’t, it seemed as though he’s more interested on the files in front of him, and this infuriated Rita and she angrily slammed his laptop close.
“Do you know your cold behavior towards Claudia is shaming our parents? When are you gonna come back to your senses to get married and settle down? Are you planning on fooling around with those ugly hags forever? Are you…. ”
Rita’s words were stuck in her throat, and she flinched back on her chair when Ferguson banged on the table for the second time.
“I’ve had enough of your nonsense, GET OUT!” he growled, with the veins on his forehead and neck poking out.
She knew at once that her brother’s gonna explode soon, but she couldn’t stop herself from speaking anyway.
“I understand what you’re doing here, you’re trying to go against dad because you think he’s got too much say in your life, but trust me, he’s doing everything for your very good and… ”
“My very good?” he interrupted her and let out a short sarcastic laugh.
“Yeah, he…”
He raised his right hand, cutting off whatever she wanted to say.
“Let’s wait until he starts telling you how to live your life, when to get married and whom to get married to, then you’ll tell me if he’s doing it for your very good” he paused.
His eyes landed on a family portrait hanging on the side wall, everyone was smiling on the portrait except him, who was pulling a long face as though he was forced to join them.
“Dad never does anything for our good, he always and only does things that’s beneficiary for him”
There was a brief silence. Rita followed his brothers glaring eyes, and she realized he’s glaring at their family portrait.
“Maybe you shouldn’t hang this portrait here since it hurts your eyes” she said metaphorically.
He tore his eyes away from the portrait and stormed towards the door, he reached for the knob and pulled it open.
Rita raised a questioning eyebrow at him.
“What is that supposed to mean?”
“Go home and tell dad that I’m not getting married to Clara or whatever her name is”
“Claudia” Rita corrected him.
“I don’t care, tell dad, he can get married to her and make her his second wife if he desperately wants her father’s investment”
“But she…”
“I’m not getting married to her!” Ferguson said firmly, leaving his sister no room to argue.
She heaved a frustrated sigh.
“Well, you need to do something, you can’t or shouldn’t keep Claudia waiting for nothing more than a heartbreak”
She reached for her bag that she had earlier kept at the foot of the table, then catwalk towards the door.
“Claudia’s innocent in all of this” she added before walking out the door.
Ferguson slammed the door shut after her, he took long and angry strides towards his chair. His eyes landed on a white fluid at the far edge of his desk, he reached for his handkerchief and wiped it.
He took a sniff, then smirked slyly after perceiving and recognizing what it was.
“WOW! An excess cum on my desk”
