“Let’s go Ariana. We have to leave now” Lucile ordered and she gasped.
“Why. I haven’t had any rest, I spent the night training” She responded, taking her sword.
“And you would have some rest when you see Austin’s corpse?. Let’s go now!” He ordered impatiently and she took his hand.
They both left the cave, floating as Lucile led her to the forest. She gasped when she saw everywhere covered with smoke and heard swords clashing.
“Let’s go help them” She shouted, trying to go down and he held her.
“I can’t help you. You would go there alone, don’t let your emotions get the best of you, kill Dracula at the slight opportunity you get” He advised and she nodded.
“Why can’t you come with me? Please i need you help, you have to come with me” She inquired with tears.
“I just can’t. There’s a sword with Austin, take it and use it to kill Dracula. Stay low for some time and do not get yourself killed” He continued and she nodded, fighting back tears.
He turned and wanted to leave but she hugged him tightly, muttering a thank you and he nodded then left.
She focused on being invisible and descended. She tried to locate Austin and she gasped when she saw him in a terrible fight with Dracula, they were both using their powers against each other.
Suddenly, fire erupted out of Austin’s hand and he tried to but Dracula who shielded himself.
Austin was surprised but didn’t have time to think as Dracula transformed into a large monster with four hands. Everyone gasped as they looked at him.
The shaman was at Austin’s side throwing spells at Dracula with his staff. Fiona and others were also trying to fight Dracula but Austin was at the front.
Ava and Brooklyn were in a heated fight as he angrily pushed her to the ground. Ariana was beyond confused, she didn’t know whom she should help and how she would.
With panic, she pushed Brooklynn as he was about to kill Ava. He looked around for what had pushed him but couldn’t find any.
Ava shifted to her wolf form and Brooklyn did the same, they both clawed at each other’s hearts, trying to kill the other.
Dracula laughed crazily as he kicked Austin. He fell to the ground, weak and tired. He stood up slowly and Dracula yelled in his ears. Jayden screamed with pain as bells began to ring in his ear. He was losing control of his environment and couldn’t keep himself balanced.
Holding his ears, he fell, writhing in pain as nightmares about Nicole and Ariana filled his head.
“Noooo!” Ava screamed, holding her father who had been stabbed by Brooklyn. He had wanted to stab Ava but her father pushed her aside, taking the knife for her.
She held his body, shaking her head and crying. “Mo father, you don’t deserve to die this way” She wept deeply hurt as she regretted her actions.
“Kill Dracula” Her father ordered and gave her his staff, his powers left his body and were added to hers as he gave up to the ghost.
Furious with Brooklyn, she used the staff to wade off every fireball he threw at her, she used the staff to hit him, and Dracula used a force to hold her as she was about to stab Brooklyn
He stood up and went after Austin who was running into the forest. Ariana pushed Brooklyn and he fell. She used a fireball to scald his shoulder and he shouted.
Dracula looked around and smirked evilly. “Your mate is here though there’s no shaman to perform the rites. That’s very sad” He mocked and held Ariana’s hair, he was using his mind to injure them as he wrapped a hand around her neck.
She struggled for breath, hitting his hand as he keep choking her, her eyes turned red and she let out a scream, blowing everyone away.
She coughed as she stood up, visible now. Austin ran to her and hugged her excitedly. “Give me the sword” She demanded and he shook his head.
“I can’t let you endanger your life” He replied and attacked Dracula.
She removed her sword from its sheath and went to his side. Dracula had two swords in his hands which he used to fight both of them. Fiona wanted to attack him from behind but he slammed her into a huge tree.
She groaned with pain as blood oozed out of her neck. Ava kept trying to kill Brooklyn who was running and attacking her.
He would throw fireballs at her while she threw ice cubes at him. Anytime she had the chance to kill him, Dracula would push her.
Ariana kept trying to catch up with Dracula who was faster than her, she was caught up in defending herself so that she couldn’t attack him.
She shifted to her demon form and he laughed heartily. She drove the sword into his leg and he removed it like it was nothing and she understood why Lucile ordered her to collect Austin’s sword.
Dracula started affecting Austin’s brain and she ran to his side. “Look at me!” She ordered and he kept closing his eyes and trying to force out the images from his head.
“You need to look at me, Stop trying to fight it, think about the good aspect, let me help you ease the pain” She ordered and slowly he raised his head. He stared at her and slowly the images faded.
“Because someone decided to train you, you feel like you’ve discovered your whole power. Where’s that mentor of yours. Afraid of showing his face, did he tell you why your mother died?” Dracula taunted and anger boiled inside of her.
“Get my mother out of your tongue you scoundrel” She retorted and he laughed as she tried to hit him but he kept vanishing.
“Do you wanna know who killed her? Lucile cheated on her, disclosed our identity to his mistress and his mistress in turn waited for years and told those who killed her. The good thing about your mom is that she killed Lucile’s pregnant wife, when she found out, in cold blood in his presence before she was killed” Dracula explained with a hearty laugh and Ariana shook at the discovery.
Rage grew inside her as she thought about all the things he’d told her. She took her sword and stabbed Dracula’s leg repeatedly and he just laughed.
She created a cyclone and was only strong enough to push him back. Frustrated, she began unleashing all her powers, throwing fireballs and trying to get into his head but she failed.
Austin tried to stab Dracula as he was focused on blocking Ariana. Brooklyn dragged his leg and he fell. Angrily, He punched Brooklyn severally, not giving him any chance to retaliate.
“I’ll spare your life because of mom” Austin gritted, pushing Brooklyn aside. He blocked Dracula with his sword as Dracula was about to hit Ariana.
Ariana panted heavily as her heart beat very fast, she had been scared when he raised his sword.
Ava tried to freeze Kayden but he kept dodging. Fiona and the other court members got busy with the images of Dracula and the new demons who came to the forest.
Ariana and Austin held hands as a spark began to grow in their hands, with the ability to share powers now, Austin began using her fireballs as he aimed at Dracula.
Charlotte rushed to Donald’s side, now I’m her demon form, floating as she flung several demons. Donald was shocked when he saw her. It explained why she was acting weird and his she had been able to go out.
They joined hands together and began making big balls which blew out several demons. Ariana and Austin tried to hold hands with them but Brooklyn kept blocking them.
Fiona tried to lure Brooklyn away but he kept, getting past her. She tried to fight him with her sword but he got mixed with the demons and Fiona got occupied.
Austin sliced Dracula’s heels with the monk’s sword and with anger Dracula sent out huge balls of green flames, the balls hit the ground and exploded, blowing them away as smoke filled the whole place.
Ariana coughed as she struggled to stand up, she couldn’t see anything. “Austin!” She screamed and heard a cough and a weak growl.
Austin stood up weakly, a cut on his leg. He put the monk’s sword in its sheath. With a cry of pain, he brightened the sky and rain began to pour heavily.
He began to draw power from the sky as his hair turned blue, his eyes blazing red, he hung in the air and began to fight Dracula who made a shield around himself and Brooklyn
Brooklyn marvelled at his brother’s form and wondered why he couldn’t have additional powers like his brother.
They all joined forces together and tried to break Dracula’s shield, pushing hard as Dracula struggled.
Dracula flew into the sky swiftly and came back, pushing Austin. He sat on him and wanted to claw out Austin’s face when Ava jerked him away roughly.
He used the handle of his sword to hit her face, making her bleed profusely. He went after Austin who was hurling trees at him.
Dracula flung each tree away as he walked towards Austin. Ariana hit him with her sword and he turned to face her. He slammed her into a tree roughly and she groaned with pain, trying to stand up but he pushed her back and she fell.
She groaned as she tried to stand but her feet wobbled and she fell. Painfully, she struggled to stand up and limped to a tree, she rested on the tree trying to catch her breath.
Fiona hurried to her side. “Are you hurt?” Fiona questioned, panting and Ariana shook her head.
“I can manage” She muttered and Fiona nodded, fighting the demons that came their way.
Brooklyn blocked everyone from going towards Austin as he pursued anyone who tried to interfere in Dracula’s fight.
Austin teleported and Dracula laughed evilly, fighting Fiona who didn’t have much strength left. He tried to kill her but Brooklyn blocked him, giving him a glare and Dracula retreated.
Austin teleported, trying to look for Brookyln but he couldn’t fight him. Ariana became invisible and began to slaughter demons, she was in awe as she stared at Charlotte who was fighting effortlessly and bravely.
She unleashed fire on the demons and set the trees ablaze as the demons burned to ashes.
Austin appeared behind Dracula’s back. He took slow steps, raised the monk’s sword and when he was about the stab Dracula, Brooklyn appeared behind him and suddenly pushed his sword into Austin’s back. Fiona ran towards him and put the Vampire’s eye around his neck, caging his powers and he stepped back.
They all froze as they saw the sword. Brooklyn turned back, muttered some words as he stared at Brooklyn with shock, pain and horror then fell to the ground.
Everywhere shook violently as thunder rumbled and it began raining heavily as they watched Austin’s body with shock.
Ariana recovered from her shock and ran to his side. “Austin please, don’t go hang in there”. l She muttered with tears in her eyes.
He looked at her face and smiled weakly. “You can do it, save my pack my Luna. I LOVE YOU” He whispered holding her hand and giving her the monk’s sword then closed his eyes.
Fiona fell to the ground, weeping silently as she held his cloth, she refused to be comforted as she shook his body, urging him to wake up.
Brooklyn stared at himself and wondered what he had done. He felt like scales had been peeled off his eyes and he would see clearly how pointless the whole fight was. He looked at his brother’s body with horror and screamed in pain.
“Austin!”. Ariana screamed dragging his hand. The others formed a circle around him and dropped to their knees, paying homage.
Ava looked at them with pity and regret, she blamed herself silently for being the cause of the whole situation.
Dracula created a cyclone which split them up, throwing them to different angles as he cackled wildly and threw a huge dark ball towards the sky.
The ball exploded into many dark fumes as it spread all over, consuming the light and leaving everywhere dark and grey.
He laughed as he made a huge portal and demons became coming into earth.
Fiona refused to be concerned about anything as she just stared at Austin’s body while Ava, Charlotte and Donald began fighting with the demons.
