But I wasn’t going to let him bully me. Despite the extreme discomfort, I struggled to pick up the lamp on the cabinet and smashed it on his head.
He cried out in pain and let go of me.
Seeing that he was going to run away, I slowly collected myself and kicked his leg.
“You’d better be clear, Quan Jinnian merely asked you to monitor me. If he knew that you were doing this to me, what do you think he would do?” I looked down at him with unprecedented coldness.
