When I was still wondering why they had left so easily, my phone beeped again. “The punishment for your disobedience.”
I knew he was talking about my escape from the Na’er Mall. I was already in despair. After reading this message, I felt my blood freeze and it took me quite a long time to recover.
“Why does he have to drive me to the wall?”
I threw my phone on the bed and ignored the short message. Burying my head in my knees, I curled up as much as I could.
But I still couldn’t stop trembling.
The sunshine was shining brightly outside, but I felt chill to the bones.
As if the peeper had known what I was doing, the phone I put aside buzzed with another text message.
Finally, I picked it up. “You have half an hour left.” “Go back to the Na’er Mall and see what I’ll surprise you with.”
Unexpectedly, he sent me two short messages in a row this time which made me feel like being pushed into the abyss and doomed eternally.
I totally freaked out now. I was so desperate that I was almost reduce to tears, except that I failed to shed even a single tear.
“Stop torturing me! Please! I’d rather go to jail!” After quite a while, I responded with trembling hands.
Then I leaned against the wall feebly, as if all my strength had been drained. No matter how sad I was, my eyes were still dry.
My mother-in-law was still swearing beside me. I was too tired for her nagging, so I stood up and went back to my own room.
Throwing myself onto the bed, I saw my blank eyes reflected on the surface of the alarm clock on the nightstand.

I walked to him obediently. However, the closer I got to him, the colder my heart became.
As I approached him, he suddenly pulled me into his embrace. Being held tightly in his strong arms, I couldn’t move at all.
Instantly, he touched my back with his big palm after ripping my clothes off gracefully and violently.
My heart lost its pace for a moment, but I didn’t struggle.
After all, I couldn’t risk my brother’s life.
Staring at me for quite a while, he curved his lips up, forming a cruel and indifferent smile I was familiar with. “This is how you seduced my brother, isn’t it?”
Being confused at his words, I froze there, wondering what he meant.
“What’s he talking about? Who’s his brother?”
