“In fairness~ That Rawbin guy’s oozing with hotness! Mika commented, to which Audrey and Kellen nodded incessantly.
“He seemed to like you cuz,” Kellen announced. “But you need to be careful, a lot of women are after him,” she added as a reminder.
Lemon creased her forehead at them, unable to understand what she was trying to say, and Mika seemed to share the same confusion.
“Meaning?” he asked Kellen.
“Meaning, girls will be after your throat once Llamansares starts courting you,” Audrey stated.
“Well, there’s no reason for that. He’s not courting me and I don’t think he will,” then Lemon shrugged at them, trying to dismiss their thoughts.
“What do you know? No one can really resist our beauties~” Kellen responded, copying Mika’s tone.
She chose to ignore it and just gave them a lazy smile. With the number of beautiful girls on the campus, she doubted he’d even waste his time on her. That’s just impossible.
When the bell rang, the four of them exited the gym to attend their next class. The varsities were on break when they left, so they even waved at them on their way out.
“Lemon!” an unfamiliar voice called and when she turned to look, she saw Rawbin running towards them.
She shot my brows up and was about to ask what he needed when he handed her his phone. “Can I get your number?” he asked.
Lemon glanced at Kellen as she suddenly recalled what she had told her earlier, but then Mika mouthed ‘Go’. So she took Rawbin’s phone and typed in her number.
“Thanks! I’ll text you ASAP so you can save mine,” he said, smiling. Then he turned around and ran back to the court.
“See? I told you~” Kellen’s voice was teasing.
“He’s just being friendly,” Lemon refuted.
“Sometimes, I don’t know if you’re just dense or you don’t trust yourself at all,” Kellen snapped as she hooked her arm to Mika’s and they both walked ahead of the two.
Shaking her head, Lemon did the same with Audrey and they all headed to their class. Thankfully, they ended the day without any more trouble.
When they came home, the maids greeted them as soon as they entered the gate. They both then headed upstairs.
“Hi, Miss Lemon,” the young woman greeted. She’s wearing a white uniform with an apron over it. “I’m Gemma, by the way, and this is Lyra.”
“Hello! You can just call me Lemon, omit Miss. Where is mommy?”
“She dropped by earlier to check on your rooms, then she left again with Miss Dahlia after having lunch. They said they needed to go back to the shop because there are tons of clients they have to entertain,” she narrated.
“I see. We’ll just head to our rooms then.”
“Sure Mi-, Lemon, we’ll go with you,” Gemma responded and she led the way. She then opened the door on the left side of the stairs. “This is your room and this is your Mom’s,” pointing at the room right in front of Lemon.
“This is your room M-Miss, S-Sir,” Lyra pointed at the room next to hers, not knowing what to call Mika to let him know it was his.
“Mika or Kale will do,” he smiled as he peeked inside.
“Okay, Mika! The room next to yours is Miss Dahlia’s room. The rest are all guestrooms,” Gemma informed them while pointing at four other rooms down the hall.
“Eight bedrooms? Madam Victoria’s serious about this?” Mika exclaimed in full exaggeration while clapping his hands slowly. “So, I guess I’ll see you later then?” he asked. “Let’s get some beauty rest first,” then he pushed his door and went in.
“You’re not having any snacks, Lemon?” Gemma asked and she shook her head while smiling at her.
“Maybe later. I’m tired too, and besides, it’s almost dinner. I’ll go in and rest for a moment too. Thank you for the help,” Gemma nodded at her and headed downstairs.
Lemon did the same as Mika. She went inside her room and plopped on the bed. She didn’t even bother taking her shoes off. That’s how tired she was.
However, she enjoyed sleeping so much because when she woke up, it was already the next morning. She was even surprised to see that it was already five in the morning.
As soon as Lemon opened her eyes, she looked for her phone to check for any messages. This was her routine even when she was back in France. She tends to check her phone first, even before she starts stretching.
When she checked, there were three new messages. Two were from Rawbin and one was from the number saved as IGNORE.
‘Hi, Lemon! Rawbin here. Please save my number. Thanks!’
‘No reply? See you tomorrow at school.’
‘You’re very pretty in your uniform. Hoping to see you every day. ‘
The message from the stranger sent creeps down Lemon’s spine. If he finds her pretty in her uniform, that means he’s already seen her.
‘Who could it be? Is he one of our classmates?’
She tried thinking of all possibilities, all possible people who could be sending such messages, but she really couldn’t think of anyone. So, just like the saved name, she chose to ignore it in the meantime.
Going back to Rawbin’s message, Lemon decided to just reply to him. She informed him that she had overslept and just woke up and that’s why she was unable to reply to his message.
She apologized to the guy, just so he wouldn’t think that she was ignoring him or she was being a snob. Rawbin’s friendly and Lemon thinks it would be rude to just ignore her.
After that, Lemon started stretching out for at least three minutes. This is also part of her routine. That was all the exercise she did.
She then pushed herself off of bed to start preparing for their second day in school. Recalling what happened on her first day, she was hoping that no trouble’s awaiting her this time.
