“She’s not Zoey. ” She heard the woman mumble as she walked away.
“Did Cali ask you to ask such? Calvin asked with a cool voice as he descended down the stairs.
“No, Mrs Simon asked me to. ” She replied politely.
“I’m Zoey. Zoey replied behind the woman and she beamed with smiles.
“Mrs Simon would like to have a video conference call with you. ” She uttered, Zoey nodded and signaled her to bring the phone closer. Zoey collected the phone to look at the screen and Mrs May faced in a perfect view. A smile escaped her lips as she got the chance to have a conference call with the woman.
“I had it all? Are you okay Zoey? ” Mrs Simon asked with a concerned expression well visible on her face. Zoey nodded, but it was visible on her face, how sad she was.
“The whole school must have heard it all. Of course, they will, it happened right there. ” She thought, looking lost for moments. Mrs Simon had called her name several times but she was far away. Calvin slowly got behind her unknowingly.
“She has not recovered mom. ” Calvin uttered, waving at the phone screen.
“Okay. I ended the call. ” Mrs Simon let out a sad smile and ended the call. The woman tapped her gently and she looked around with a frightened face.
“God, any touch on Zoey. She’s frightened already. ” He thought worriedly. “She’s feeling insecure. ” He mumbled and walked around.
“Your pills. ” He uttered, dropping them on the table. She gave h a nonchalant attitude as she took the drugs with a cup of water. Calvin wanted to say something but he looked terrified to say.
“What do you love reading? ” He asked, hoping to get a better response from her.
“You had messages when you weren’t here. ” She informed me, staring at his phone and he picked it to check. He hissed after finding out that the messages were from Karen.
“Have a check on the message. ” He heard Zoey mumble as he was about to drop his phone. He paused to glance at her face, he arched his eyebrows at her.
“Thought you wanted to be alone for a while. ” He smirked and she found herself rolling her eyes at him. His eyes widened after checking Karen’s message.
“Love this. ” He uttered with a wide smile visible on his lips.
“Will you like to go somewhere with me? ” Calvin asked out of blue. Zoey took minutes to think about it and she later gave in and he smiled.

Jenna, Jemma and Cali hardly talk to each other since Zoey’s departure. It was as if they were intentionally ignoring themselves but the situation made them like that, more so, they were missing Zoey so much.
Guilty conscience kept eating Jenna up. Restless nights, insecurity, insomnia were the things she felt. A slight touch on her arm or body contact with her will lead to a deaf scream.
It was becoming obvious, and her twin sister keeps getting worried everyday, Cali suspects Jenna and Jemma, anyone in her shoes will suspect her, same with Jemma, she suspected Cali but she didn’t have the mind of her sister.
As usual, all of them eat different food, which is something Zoey doesn’t accommodate among them, unless they were craving it. Cali felt bored at how empty their apartment was. She decided to have a stroll out their apartment. Perhaps, their quiet estate. She decided to go with her bicycle.
But considering her clothes weren’t for such, she decided to change them to a short Palm Angels designer and a round neck top from Calvin Klein designer.
“Are you going somewhere? Jemma asked from the armchair she was sitting on.
“Yeah. ” She replied casually and pocketed her hands.
“Where to? ” Jemma asked as she stood up from the chair.
“Riding my bicycle around the estate. ” She replied and walked to the door.
“Can I come along? ” She asked with smiles on her face.
“No! ” She exclaimed a little and heaved a sigh. Jemma’s face dropped instantly, tears threatened to stream down but she fought it back.
“I’m sorry for yelling at you. Cali apologized and bowed immediately. She made an apology.
“It’s fine. ” Jemma sounded sober as she took the passage that leads to her room.
“Try to control yourself, Cali. ” She mumbled to herself. ” I guess I have to apologize to her. ” She thought and ruffled her hair and followed her to her room. Jemma raised her head when she noticed someone at the entrance of her room.
“I’m sorry Jemma. I’m sorry for yelling at you. ” Cali apologized sincerely, and took steps closer to Jemma’s bed.
“I will be going home for a while. ” Jemma mumbled and shifted away from Cali’s touch.
“Sincerely, I didn’t yell at you intentionally. I can’t get all of what’s happening wrapped around my head. All what happened for the past three days seems to have been forgotten at once. Cali paused but Jemma wasn’t listening to any of her words. She only focused on the clothes she was packing.
“Have I ever yelled at you since the day I met you. Cali mumbled almost close to tears. “Will Zoey be happy to see us separated? ” Cali mumbled and burst into tears. None of these moved Jemma…
“I understand you want privacy, same with me here, okay. ” Jemma uttered and dropped her box . She walk to the mirror stand for a touch of makeup to her face. Cali left the room afterwards, she was pushed to call Zoey but then, she ignored the thought as she got on her bicycle and pedaled the bicycle out of their mini compound.
