“It’s not my fault everything didn’t go as you planned and now your friend is in police custody. ” Jenna rolled her eyes.
“And you think I’m not going to release your nudes? ” Damien yelled.
“To hell whatever you want to do I don’t care about anything anymore. What I’m after his Zoe must be ok and she must be well. If not, I’m going to drop my statement about everything I know about it. ” Jenna threatened and stormed out of his room.
“This matter is not even my matter, I just got involved because Earl is my friend. I guess I have to mind my business since this is beyond my capacity. I only helped not to spend the rest of my life in jail. ” He thought and pack up his files.

Karen worked out of his office and walked to the fifth floor. When he got there he walked down the passage and opened the door next to the far end of the second floor. Inside the room there was an electrocardiogram, a drip insert in an arm.
The patient was lying down on the bed with her closed. Karen pulled a chair and seat on it, he quietly took her warm hand into his. Tears rolled down his cheeks when the tragic event came rushing to his head.
“It’s been a long time since I came to visit you. ” He uttered but got no response. Her eyes are closed with burns on her body but not her face.
“I’m sorry for coming late. ” He uttered again, locking hands with her and stroking her hair.
“I finally found her, she’s just like you. I know you can’t wait to see her but that’s going to happen very soon. ” He mumbled and wiped his tears.
“Zoey must have been alone with you, I was alone and lonely without you. He took a deep breath and continued, I’m sorry for putting you in this condition, it’s my fault things didn’t go as planned.
“I’m happy I saved Zoey but I’m sad you risked everything, you took everything for us. ” Karen cried with his hand folding hers.
“You have been in a coma for the past twenty years, even though the doctors gave up but Ivy didn’t, the nurse who is now my wife and the mother of my child didn’t give up on you. ” He sob quietly with his head down.
For the past (20) twenty years, Karen I’ve been keeping a secret for the past many years Ivy, his wife who is also a sister to Landon knew about the secrets but she hasn’t seen Zoey. She’s aware he’s looking for his younger sister but she’s not aware Zoey has been found.
His phone buzzed in his pocket and he took it out.
“Camila said you stopped by and took the files. ” Ivy said on the phone.
“Yeah, I was in a rush. ” He replied and cleared his throat.
“What’s wrong babe? Your voice sounds somehow. ” She uttered, sounding concerned.
“It’s nothing. ” He assured but she wasn’t buying it either.
“I love you baby. ” Ivy uttered, hugging her pillow.
“I love you too babe, muah. ” He kissed and she giggled, the call came to an end after having a talk for minutes. That call alone brighten his mood. Just when he was about to drop his phone it buzzed again.
“Have you checked the news? ” Austin’s voice came with a rush.
“No, what happened? ” Karen asked curiously as he stood up to adjust the patient bed sheets.

“What the hell? ” He panicked and rushed out of the room. He locked the door while his phone was in his ear.
“Do you think something happened to your younger sister? ” Austin suddenly asked and Karen stopped instantly.
“I will try to contact Calvin. Gosh, I think it’s high time I reveal myself to her or what do you think? ” Karen took a deep breath and leaned on the wall.
“I think it’s high time you do that, assuming you had revealed yourself sooner, it won’t be difficult to check what’s going on? ” Austin added.
“I will arrange everything. Karen uttered and ended the call.
“Zoey! Zoey!! ” He kept calling her name in his head as he took the elevator.

Landon drove inside Perry’s home, he recognized Axel’s car and Asher’s car. He took his phone and got out of his car.
“Look up dude. ” Asher said from the rooftop.
“Why up there? ” Landon asked, trying to avoid the sun.
“We are having grilled lamb meat. ” Asher replied and he nodded and headed inside. Perry’s personal maid welcomed him immediately he stepped in.
“Is Perry in? ” He asked as he walked past her.
“No sir, they are outside, on the rooftop. ” She replied and bowed.
“I thought Asher and Axel were the only ones on the rooftop. ” He mumbled to himself and walked outside since the stairs to the rooftop were outside.
“You are late, bruh! ” Perry yelled, pouring himself an alcohol.

“You guys were drunk yesterday, Landon actually had his girlfriend with him yesterday. ” Axel interrupted, which made Landon to chuckle.
“Really, he had a girl. ” Perry was the first to scream.
“It’s been a long time I fvcked, you know. ” Landon uttered and picked meat.
“Yeah, but you never show us your girlfriend. ” Asher added and Axel chuckled.
“Landon is a player, stop disturbing him to get a girlfriend. ” Axel reminded me and they nodded.
“But seriously, they ruined the ball party. ” Asher groaned, feeling annoyed at what happened at the party.
“You aren’t the only one. ” Perry added and took a sip from his drink.
“It was a rape incident. ” Landon added and they nodded.
“Strippers will be here soon, we should be ready or what do you think? ” Perry informed.
“Not bad. ” Axel replied.
“I’m interested. ” Asher and Landon replied at the same time. Landon’s phone buzzed and he picked the call immediately.
“Hello Mom. ”
“I’m giving you five minutes to get here. ” She ordered and ended the call.
“What the fvck! Did she just end the call on me? He uttered in shock.
“What happened? ” His friends asked.
“I don’t know guys, she just said I must get back home in the next five minutes. ” He uttered and they looked perplexed at his words.
“Are you serious? ”
“I’m deadly serious–
“Five minutes is fvcking small for you to go back. ” Axel uttered with his hand in his pocket.
“I will manage. But I guess I won’t be around for fun. ” He uttered with a furious expression. He got inside his car and zoomed out of his compound.
