Chapter 39
Everywhere had Become fully dark as they arrived at some forestation area in the bush part far away from the town. They pack their car on one side of the road waiting patiently to see if someone is going to pass at the moment, but no person actually pass neither a moving car nor a car horn from a distance.
“It’s safe”. Jeffrey uttered as they went to open the back door and brought her out then closed the car back. She was really so heavy that they found it so hard to carry her. Bentley was really thankful for Jeffrey’s help so far. If not, she doesn’t think she can do all this alone without carrying Harley by herself.
They came across a dark part of the bush and threw her there. They gather some leaf across her body and walk back to their car immediately as they drive away.

Two days later.
Morgan Gill, who had come back from her trip expecting to see Harley, was told that Harley hadn’t been in the house for two days now. So she thought Harley went to visit her mother or father and decided not to disturb her until she finally came.
But then, her mother “Kate” had gone to visit them the next day hoping to see her daughter in the Gill family since she hadn’t been taking her calls and was really worried that something must have happened to her daughter.
But Morgan turned down her expectations and tells her about everything she knows. The two women were very worried and had contacted Brandon to come immediately that there were ongoing family issues which needed to be solved.

Brandon couldn’t help but wonder what the Matter could be. Could it be that Harley had lied to everyone again? He thought as he came down from his car and opened the door which led to the setting room.
He noticed the unusual look of his mother and Harley mother as he approached them. “Good afternoon mothers” he greeted as he sat down, staring at the two of them in a questionable gaze.
“Why have you called me here, is this because of Harley?” He asks as Kate’s face changes immediately. “Yes, have you seen Harley? What did she say? Harley’s mother asks with curiosity and suspense as he scoffs.
“I’m sorry what do you really mean, I thought I was called here because of what Harley had told you guys concerning our relationship”. Morgan let out a sarcasm laugh as Brandon rasped in.
“No, no Brandon”. She later bellowed at him in anger. “Harley is currently missing, and we have called you here to question you about her whereabouts, how long have you seen her?” His mother retorted at him in anger as he sighed.
“Well, I saw her three days ago here trying to enter her car. She was about to go somewhere when I saw her and that was the last time I had ever seen her till now”.
Kate begins to shudder in fear as she hears Brandon’s words. So none of them actually knows the whereabouts of her daughter?”
Brandon thought went wide as he comprehends everything that was happening in his understanding. And he suddenly got Frightened when he remembered about the wolves. What if Camilla Actually catches Harley? What if Harley had been devoured by them?
Many thoughts went through his head as he remembered the words Camilla had Shrugged to him back then about Harley. But Camilla isn’t someone like that. He doesn’t think she can do that!!
His instinct says that as he tries to argue with it but couldn’t. Maybe they’re the one that kidnapped or must have Killed Harley. To figure it out, he has to go meet them again. He needs to know the truth concerning Harley before her mother will start accusing them of killing or kidnapping their daughter.
He stood up abruptly, pulling their attention as he walked away. He was currently going to the forest right now. Furthermore, he does hope to but suddenly, a thought came into his head. Maybe waiting for Camila in the daycare would be better, but he did hope that she’d come quickly.

And just as he had planned it out, he saw her there but this time around he decided to approach her while in the class and request for her attention which she gives him.
“What do you need this time around, are you here to criticize…..”
No!! “Please try to hear me out before jumping into conclusion! He uttered in a sad tone as she sighed.
“What is it?” I hope it’s something important!! She asked. “Well! Actually it’s about Harley”.
“What about her?” She asks in Curiosity on seeing his gaze.
“I know that Harley must have offended you in different ways which is the reason why I’m using this opportunity to apologize to you, please show me where she is if you had kidnapped her”. Brandon let out the unpleasant words he had been holding since as she scoffed, understanding where he was heading to.
“So you probably think I kidnapped Harley or devoured her?” He looked really sorry for asking such questions as she questioned him back. And he couldn’t say anything wrong. Maybe he had accused her wrongly, and he isn’t supposed to ask her in such a way. He would have actually asked nicely instead of this.
Camilla knew that he regrets asking her in such a way since he was quiet as she decided to tell him the truth.
“No matter what Harley did to me, I will never hurt her or kill her, I’m not someone like that” so before accusing us, I think you should look everywhere for her and stop suspecting us”.
She uttered and walked out of him immediately. She does hope that with her advice, he would stop suspecting them in her matter. Brandon was really so disappointed as he thought that he could get answers from her. If they aren’t the ones that kidnapped Harley, then where’s she? Who kidnapped her?
