Chapter 30
Harley wakes up to see herself in an eccentric room painted with a white color. The scent of the room gave her an unpleasant smell as she wanted to puke but quickly held herself. She can’t just puke in anyway she sees.
“Are you okay?” She heard the familiar Voices as she turned around only to see her mother, and Catherina who was staring at her. “Ohh thank God you’ve woken up Harley, how are you feeling now?” Her mother uttered as she gives her a confuse gaze
“What happened mother, what I’m I doing here?” She uttered, her tone so low. “It’s a long story but…. you’re fine now”. And we shall be getting discharged soon.
“What happened to me aunt Catherina?” She asks since her mother did want to tell her the truth.
“You had a little accident Harley but you’re fine now”.

Harley was discharged from the hospital and went straight to the Gill family home so they can take full responsibility of her daughter since Mr. Kate was a business woman who would hardly have time for a pregnant woman like her which is the reason why they decided to Take her to the Gill family house.
But Harley was concerned about what Brandon would say when he gets to find out that she’s living in his family house. But what if he chases her away?
Just as she was still in deep thought, the maid brought some food for her while she was still in the bed. She was very surprised as her mouth gaped open.
“Why are you serving me food this early morning?” She shrugged at the maid who Later smiled at her. Ma’am Morgan requested us to serve you breakfast this morning, since you’re likely hungry already. She was stunned by her words.
“But why?” She gasped at the maid who looked so confused with her questions.
“I don’t know ma’am”.
“Alright you can go! She shrugged at her.
It could be because of the accident which she had three days ago which is the reason why they’re so concerned about her health and treating her this way.
After eating and dressing up, she took the plates to the kitchen and that was when she came across Brandon who just entered the house.
Brandon, who had sighted her from the Kitchen approach her immediately in shock.
Harley was so Frightened on seeing Brandon who was approaching her so she decided to pretend like someone who hasn’t seen him and use that chance to go to her room.
“Harley” he called as she turned back to look at him. “How are you feeling now, how’s your body?”
“I’m fine!” She was feeling so uncomfortable with him and just wanted to leave. What if he starts scolding her again?
“Take stress off yourself and your unborn baby, okay? Just take good care of yourself”. She held his hand as he was about to walk away.
“What did you mean? Which unborn baby?” She was so confused by his statements as he came to realize that they didn’t tell her about the pregnancy. So it wasn’t a planned thing.
“I heard that you’re pregnant Harley, the doctor said you were pregnant”. Her palm sweat profusely as her heart skipped in shock.
What did he just say? “I’m really sorry if I had annoyed you with my words the Day we had a quarrel but I think this prank is too much for me”.
Brandon laughs out really hard as she feels so Ashamed and wishes that he was lying.
“So they didn’t tell you anything?” I think you should go abort the pregnancy when it’s never too late now Harley, at least it isn’t showing yet! Because I know that I’m not the father of that unborn child. Brandon walks out of her so heartlessly as she pants in fear.
She’s pregnant!! But how come? Harley’s fears begin to increase as her teeth clutch to each other. She’s certain that Brandon is lying. What he said can’t be true. That can’t be possible!

Camilla resumed work the next day and the children were so excited to see her again including daisy. “Where have you been all those while Miss Camilla? We miss you so much.
Camilla was about to held home when Brandon approached her. She was surprised to see him smiling and waving at her in her front.
“What a coincidence that we bumped into each other”. Brandon uttered although he actually did it on purpose. “Yeah, really a coincidence again because I wasn’t expecting to see you either”..
“I’m sorry about what happened in the forests that day, it was so rude of me to walk out on you without finishing our conversation”.
She apologized as he smiled. “It’s nothing, literally please forget about it”. It was something for him. It was a big deal when she had run away because he didn’t get the chance to thank her.
“I believe that’s already in the past now, we should focus more on the future”. He uttered with a broad enchanting smile which could warm one heart.
“Camilla please don’t object to my offer okay; please can you go on a dinner with me?” She looks at him with a mischievous grin as he sighed.
“Please say yes because that’s my only way of thanking you for saving my life. and we can actually just go right now”. He uttered as her eyes widened open.
She doesn’t just understand him because she knew that as a normal guy, he would only thank her with words instead of taking her to dinner. But for a guy who could be more interested in someone, they’re most likely going to do their appreciation in a more romantic way. Now this got her thinking. What are his plans and thoughts towards her?
There’s only one way to find that out. “It’s a yes for me, so where are you taking me to”. A smile crept through his lips as she uttered Such words. “Yes” he muttered..
