Chapter 28
“Thank you so much Becca!!, So you see… it was very easy!!” Brandon had threatened her to give Camilla a call and tell her to come to work the next day. That was just the only thing he could do for her aside from thanking her for everything she had done for him.
Brandon decided to go hunting tonight. He just wanted to spend the night in the forest by himself, listening to the nature of things. He just needed a time to clear off his head and he feels like going for a hunt in the bush will definitely give him an idea on what to do with the ongoing situation of his Life.

The full moon did come out just as the guards have told everyone and right now, everybody was all gathered in one place.
“Just a reminder to you all; it’s the full moon again and I want you all to be very careful and vigilant as you will be hunting again whether you’re looking for your mate or not.
Humans are very dangerous and at this rate, I can’t tell if we are safe or not but you gotta be More careful and alert everybody once you see any traces of humans entering our Territory Tonight. Other than that, you can all go enjoy yourself”.
Waylen didn’t want to miss the chance although he wasn’t really strong. He would have stayed behind but he couldn’t. The full moon comes once in a lifetime and they gotta find their mate during those moments.
He’s most likely going to see his destined mate which the moon goddess must have chosen for him in this hunting which is the reason why he doesn’t want to stay behind. And finally, they all wait patiently as the full moon reflects on them. And not quite long, some transition was taking place. Some of them could be seen struggling to shapeshift at the moment as some of them scream in pain and while some transit freely under thirty seconds.
They growled and snored under the full moon as they howled at each other. Waylen started hunting by running through the forest and so was Camilla who had gone to a different direction.

Brandon on the other hand, was inside the forest just wandering around the forest and everything was indeed natural including the environment. Maybe he could come here more often. And thinking of Camilla, how’s he really going to find her? Is it going to be easy? He thought. Brandon was distracted by the growling and snoring sound coming closer to him as he stood up immediately. Searching for the sound.
Maybe that could be a rabbit sound. He thought as he continued walking closer to where the sound was coming from and before he knew it, the sound actually stopped and this time around, all he could hear was a groan of something in the dark with red eyes.
Just then, his thoughts drifted back to when he was attacked by that Werewolf. He could remember his red eyes when he had turned around trying to free himself and it seems like this was the Same thing.
He started drifting back slowly as his eyes were engrossed on the animal which was coming closer to him. He tried to pick up his phone from his pocket but quickly remembered that he had left it in his bag. God damn it! Not again. He doesn’t think he can let this thing bite him twice.
He knew the outcome of it and this time around, he knows that he’s going to be a dead man since there wouldn’t be any cure for him.
“Please don’t hurt me, I mean no harm here”. He uttered as his leg suddenly got stuck inside a trip and of course the rogue wolf who hated humans so much didn’t listen to him. He just wanted to devour him right now.
Brandon could see how heartless the wolf was as it kept approaching him. “Someone should please help me, I don’t want to die now” he roared in fear as he closed his eyes, waiting for history to repeat itself just like it did back then in the police station.
And just as the wolf was about to attack him, another one ran out of nowhere and jumped on the other Werewolf body.
Brandon quickly hid behind a tree as he watched the two wolves fighting with each other and of course the first one that had planned on attacking him ran away immediately.
Brandon trembled in fear as he couldn’t see the wolf again. Maybe the wolf was currently hiding behind a tree which he has no clue of. And just as he was about to run away, someone called him.
It was Camilla who had fought with the rogue wolf that was about to bite him. “Are you okay? Are you hurt in any place?
Camilla asked with care in her eyes as she approached him.
“What are you doing here?” Brandon was so surprised to see her. He wasn’t expecting someone like her to be here. Could it be that she lives around here since she’s most likely to be a werewolf.
“Well, nothing! I was just walking around when I saw you, but anyway, what are you doing here?” She asks, not trying to reveal herself to him. She doesn’t want him to know that she was actually the one that fought with that wolf.
Staring keenly at him, she could tell that he was still Frightened and was still in deep thought. “but… Did you see any wolves on your way here?”
He asks again trying to make her understand that he wasn’t hallucinating on what he saw. “No!! I didn’t see anything”.
She uttered with an innocent face which made him convinced. Maybe he had been hallucinating all those while.
“But what are you doing here anyway?” She asked, I actually came here to hunt. I just wanted to spend some time here before going back home.
“I think you should start Going home now, this place isn’t safe for you”.

Waylen was so excited the moment he felt the scent of his mate. He was hunting before when he was distracted by the alluring strawberry scent Which was coming From the other side of the forest.
“Can’t believe we are about to find our mate” Kendrick, his wolf exclaimed in joy as he followed the direction where the scent was coming from. And finally the scent stopped and behold he couldn’t believe his eyes. What the fuck??! His wolf muttered as they saw their mate.
