Chapter 18
On hearing that, Camilla quickly went to somewhere safe to transform back into her human form. There’s no need to hide from her since she already knew who she was because she was really so surprised to see Harley. And if she didn’t come here with someone, then she definitely came to ask for her help. and she knew that it would be about Brandon.
She approached her after transiting back into her Human form and of course Harley was frightened to see her. In her mind, she thought Camilla would and could kill her at the moment which is the reason why she had decided to retreat back to her step by walking away when she had the chance, but Camilla wouldn’t let her walk away without knowing her intentions of coming here.
“What is the problem?” Why have you come here?” She asks with a curious gaze as the frightened Harley changes her thoughts immediately. “It’s nothing important okay so just forget it and….. I’m sorry for banging you unexpectedly, so let’s just pretend like we didn’t see each other”.
She uttered trying to walk away, but Camilla wouldn’t let her without knowing her purpose of coming here and this isn’t the first time. It seems like she knows here before, or could she be the girl who she had seen running away some days back then immediately she transits back to her human form?
Camilla could remember coming here for a hunt during the fool moon but felt the presence of a girl around her. But that’s now too late. She just gotta question her and see if there’s any way she can help Brandon who’s most likely admitted to the hospital.
“I think I should get going since you don’t have anything to say to me”. She uttered about walking away when Harley Called her back. “Please wait!!”
Harley walks towards her immediately and kneels down before her. “I’m sorry about what happened earlier, and I hope you can forgive me Camilla”. Harley felt like doing that before asking her for help. She needed to apologize to her to change her thoughts.
All she could do was to Scoff. Why’s she trying to act so nice towards her now by apologizing? She should definitely go straight to the point. She doesn’t think she has Such time for those acts and besides, she needs to get back as soon as possible before anyone gets suspicious of her.
And after a while Harley finally let out her worries. “We need your help Camila”. She uttered with a husky voice, her gaze narrowed to the ground as she avoided eye contact with her.
“You have to be more specific when talking to me okay?” Which kind of help? Camilla asks again, giving her the opportunity to speak before she walks away.
“Brandon is currently still in the hospital with the big wound which the Werewolf have given him!!” The doctors are even afraid of treating him because they don’t know about it and they couldn’t discover the cure of it but except one doctor who told me that Brandon can be healed if only that man that bite him is willing to go to him, or I should bring a wolf’s bane.
Camilla almost choked out of her own thoughts. “I actually did think he had recovered, so he’s still in the hospital?” She asks as Harley nodded her Head.
“So please can you give me the wolf’s bane?” I was told that it can only be found in the Werewolf territory. Camilla was frightened as she mentioned that.
The wolf’s bane was forbidden because of its dangerous side effects on the Werewolf. “You can go back Harley, I will try to speak with him and see what he can do ”. She uttered about walking away when Harley stopped her.
“What about the wolf’s bane, can you give it to me even though it’s a small one?”. We don’t have it here nor do we sell it here”.
“I think you should leave already, I’m sure you don’t want to put me in a worse position than the one I’ve already been in. Camilla uttered and walked away.
Harley was so furious at her and had wished she could have given her what she came here for. She was so angry with the fact that her plans didn’t go with the way she had planned it to be. She had thought that waylen would follow her to the hospital so that Brandon could be treated immediately but that seems impossible.
And she didn’t even remember to threaten her about the days he had left to spend before he finally died.
She stormily walks out of the forest and makes her way to the human world to break the sadness to her father.
“She didn’t say anything important but said she will try to talk with Waylen”. She shrugged at her father as she sat down like someone who no longer has strength to stand or breath. She was just tired of everything and seeing Brandon in such a terrible position, made her go crazy.

Camilla went home that evening to break the news to him. *Where are you coming from?” Waylen, who had been missing her presence, shrugged at her with a smile on her face as they hugged each other unaware.
“I just went out for a walk “. She uttered as they disengaged from the hug. “It’s alright, I prepared dinner for our two “. Waylen uttered about to go when she held his hand tightly.
“Please wait!!” She uttered as he halted her footsteps immediately on noticing how worried she was. “Is everything okay?* Did someone fight with you? He asks on seeing her sudden change of character.
“No, it’s not that”. How’s she really going to explain this to him without sounding serious or rude? Then want? He questions, wanting to know the problem.
“It’s about Brandon, the guy which you attacked two days ago and Actually right now, he needs our help. Especially yours to survive.
