“Y…Yes. Is there a problem with this? This piqued her interest, so she inquired.
“Well…. I guess that’s the case. True….. such outfits are inappropriate for a hunt. The maid’s response,
“When it’s time to flee, it’s going to restrict you,” hit home for Ella. Indeed, she was correct.
“Can I… borrow access to your closet so I can get you the right dress?” It was the housekeeper who had the query. “Yes… Of course…,” With that, the woman grinned and headed into Ella’s closet while she blinked fast.
In a short amount of time, the housekeeper had located the ideal garment for it. It consisted of a pair of leather slacks and a long-sleeved, form-fitting blouse. That it was ideal was clear to Ella.
After she had put it on, Ella noticed an immediate change in her state of mind. Putting on those pants was the first time she had ever worn them.
She combed through her hair and gathered it into a tight ponytail, thinking that this would be the best look.
Urgh! Indeed, she felt quite different. As she examined her reflection, though, she realized that she seemed…. wonderfully different. Even though she wasn’t wearing any cosmetics.
The servant gushed, “You look stunning, my Queen,” and Ella’s cheeks immediately began to flush.
“T… Shyly saying “thank you,” she followed the maid out of the room.
“Ella? Queen Diana said,
“Wow,” clearly taken aback. They certainly didn’t anticipate it would be Ella.
Queen Natasha was still on the floor when one of the guards ran over to assist her up, and she said, crumpled: “You murdered the bear?”
The king inquired, approaching Ella.
Olivia stood there in disbelief as she listened to what was happening.
Spenser leaned in closer and asked again,
She must have had a secret weapon to kill it, but what was it?
One incident in particular stayed in her mind….
Perhaps the arrow flew off when she was too frightened to hold on to the bow. Oh! King Spenser came up to where she was standing and stared down at her with his dark, icy eyes.
Ella gave him a fleeting look before averting her eyes.
In the brief moment that she looked up, though, she saw the shock on his face.
The room became silent as all eyes turned to Ella, who continued to stare at the ground. Spenser seemed perplexed.
This woman…. Something about her stood out. There was something unusual about her.
“That makes you the winner,” he whispered at long last, his eyes never leaving hers.
“And as a reward, you’ll be coming with me to tomorrow’s meeting. ” After then he got up and started walking toward his horse.
Olivia desperately hoped she was dreaming and that the scene unfolding before her was all an elaborate ruse.
“Ella! Diana said, “Coming!” and dashed over to greet her.
“You succeeded!! My goodness, I’m so pleased with you! ”
Ella was more than shocked; she couldn’t believe it either. While Olivia stood there, her face red with wrath, Natasha came up to her and held her wrist, forcing her turn to look at her.
“For what you did today,” she growled.
When Olivia said, “I’ll make you pay dearly,”
Natasha immediately released her hold, frowned at her, and walked away.
“B! tches! Olivia made a furious sounding hissing noise and went away. ”
And I suppose you just got some more enemies,” Diana laughed to Ella.
“Ella, how’d you pull it off?”
” I don’t know. I just…. Ella said sleepily, “I drew the arrow,” and Diana hugged her on the side, saying, “Come on, now; let’s get moving.” Then the two walked off toward their horses.
“Argh!! ” Olivia stomped into her room with a groan, her bow crashing to the floor with the force of her anger.
Immediately, Leena ran in.
‘My Queen.’
“Silence, Leena!” Olivia’s growl prompted an instantaneous clamping of Leena’s lips.
Olivia walked nervously back and forth, hands on hips. It was clear that she was really upset.
“Ella!!!! The gall of the bear killer! ”
With a sigh of relief, she let out a long breath.
‘You’re coming with me to the general meeting,’ The King’s words came back to her.
“No!!!!!! ”
She yelled. mean, why her? No!!!!!!
She ruffled her tightly wound locks by running her fingers through them. During the meeting, she realized how crucial it was. Leaders from all the packs and vampire hives were gathered there. She, and not that witch, ought to accompany the King. Elise, not you!!
She flopped down on the mattress and covered her head with her hands. Someone should be wary of the woman. Her trip with the only lasted a week before she was already along for the
The king is in the meeting! What the f*ck!!!
She took a deep breath through her hands.
She moaned, “Get me a drink, Leena,” and Leena bolted from the room.
When we last left Ella, she had placed a food order from Diana’s room.
“Can I ask whether your dad is an Alpha too?” In the midst of their conversation, Ella unexpectedly inquired.
Diana quickly said, “Oh, no. “But the King and my father are quite close. She stopped and laughed, “King Spenser… he had seen me on one of his trips to our Alpha and chose to make his third wife.” Ella bowed her head in quiet as she guessed, “I imagine the King really wants someone to give him a boy kid.” She felt terrible for the King. The two women sat in silence for a time, enjoying their meal.
Out of the blue, Diana asked, “Tell me about yourself, Ella,” in an effort to start a new topic of discussion.
King Spenser emerged from the restroom, robe slack about his shoulders. He drained the pool and dressed himself in finery from his wardrobe. Putting on clothes has never come naturally to him, but he also doesn’t want the attention of his pack mates focused on his natural form just so he can seem presentable. Neither of his wife has shown capable of taking care of the children on their own. Perhaps it’s because he’s been too quick to judge everyone in life thus far.
He got dressed, combed his hair, and put on his jewelry, then went to his desk to write.
With a longing sigh, he picked up a book, but soon realized he couldn’t focus on it.
Oh, no…
At that moment, the name “Ella” sprung into his thoughts.
