Chapter 22

Book:Cursed Alpha's Witch Mate Published:2024-5-1

There was a girl, and we’ll call her Anita. My mother’s strong connection with Anita ended when she became pregnant by a Vamp Lord. She had to be put to death since she violated a holy rule.
But Anita devised a cunning plan for getting away. She managed to get away from the coven, and she and her baby ended up spending the next several months in a hidden location. My mom and the other witches were still on the lookout for her since she needed to appear at the judgement.
One day, though, she would be discovered. Anita, however, was not going to give up without a struggle, and she attempted to flee with the infant. My mother pursued her, and they eventually caught up in the woods, but Anita was too strong, and my mother paid the ultimate price. “Darcy paused for a moment as she sought to alleviate the discomfort.
She then added, “for years.” Everyone was confused about what caused my mother’s death. So, I had to do research – went from one seer to the other till I’d finally learned the complete account of how the miserable betrayer of a witch murdered my mother” she added the last bit with a grit. After hearing this, Sucy was speechless.
Wow …
I see, so that’s what happened to the Queen? It blew my mind.
“So… When did Anita pass away? And the newborn? “She whispered, her gaze fixed on Darcy’s face.
“Well…”
We expect Anita to be dead. Also, the newborn has been around for a quarter century. I really, really, really hope she’s dead too, because the minute I lay eyes on her I’ll be able to make her wish she was already dead. Her icy response somewhat befuddled Sucy.
But,” Sucy went on, “this baby.” “So does this imply… she’s a witch too?”
Not a simple witch, Darcy scoffed. “She is a hybrid, since her mother was a witch and her father a vampire. “Sucy furrowed thoughtfully. “SO…. she has both the abilities of a Witch and the Powers of a Vampire? Do you not think that makes her…. Very powerful?” Her query was direct. Darcy let out an enraged sigh.
After Spenser departed, Viscar waited for word that her room was ready. As soon as he learned this, he demanded that Ella accompany him.
“Where are you going me?” She had no choice but to knock and inquire.
Viscar’s grumpy response was simply, “To your room.” She trailed after him like a little kid. Because of his massive shoulders, she could hardly see where she was going.
Outside the entrance was a passageway, and as they descended down it and around a curve, Ella caught sight of a lady standing a distance away and gazing intently at her. This is the Queen herself, Olivia! Oh, it was Olivia!
Inexplicably, her heart began to race as the realization set in that Queen Olivia was now her co-wife, and that she had heard stories about how cunning and nasty she could be. Despite the fact that her carriage rider was at fault, she saw the event in which Lisa was slapped in the marketplace.
She is also aware of the second queen, Natasha, and of the evil reputation that preceded her. Queen Diana, the third queen, is the only queen she is unfamiliar with. In her chest, her heart was beating wildly. She had no idea how she was going to handle being around so many people, much alone a Ruthless Alpha like Spenser. She had zero interest in any of them. For as long as she can remember, she’s preferred a low-key existence; why did this have to happen?
Olivia and her servant stood there, and Olivia watched with fiery eyes as Ella and Viscar left the room. The dummy! When she didn’t even try to hide her natural beauty with cosmetics, she still managed to appear stunning. Just how dare she?
Without a doubt, she was going to show her who was boss and cast her out well before the King could ever think of touching her, much less making her pregnant.
Ella followed Viscar until they reached a door, which he then opened and ushered her inside.
She really wished for a son and prayed that she would have one. As far as she remembered, she had boasted about it. In her mind, if she had a son, the King would have no choice but to make her his Luna.
The King will soon be making a decision on which of his wives would become the Luna.
The Luna would ascend to the position the most powerful queen, ranking second only to the King.
Natasha had prayed so hard that everything would go according to plan and that she would earn the King’s favor and his love.
And why did everything have to go wrong?
Why should she have to endure this disgrace?
Even the King…. she gave him so much reason to believe it was a boy. Maybe that’s why he hasn’t even stopped by to see her since the birth.
In all likelihood, he would rather not look at her in humiliation.
What’s more, it wasn’t an excuse for him to ignore her and treat her like she was someone else entirely. They still considered her to be their Queen and his wife.
Three housekeepers soon entered carrying large trays. The first one held the desserts, the second the beverages, and the third the fruit.
They all stood before her bed and bowed, “Greetings, My Queen.”
The food has been delivered.
Natasha made no sound as she gently placed her sleeping baby on the bed next to her. She told them, “You may drop it and go,” and they did so.
