“Oh…” She groaned loudly as she struggled to regain her composure and breathe. King Spenser straightened his belt and resumed his seat as if nothing had occurred.
“My King…” Olivia reached out and touched his thighs.
“Was I successful in winning your approval?”
The King answered, “You should know you did, Olivia,” before picking up his book and turning over the pages to attempt to remember where he had left off.
Olivia’s grin widened as her excitement grew.
Of course, no one else will ever be able to perform a greater job than she will.
She got to her feet, dressed herself again, and moved to a position of honor behind the King.
They were “my favorite King,” she said with a grin.
Excuse me for interrupting, but may I inquire as to why you mandated the lockdown? How about telling me where you went first thing this morning? She stopped, then began gently rubbing his shoulders.
I don’t want anything bad to happen to my King, so you know, I’m simply worried. That’s why I’m going to start with “so, I simply. The door is open for you to leave, Olivia. “I need some solitude,” he said, his voice so icy that Olivia’s fingers froze on his shoulders.
She felt a wave of disappointment wash over her, and the grin that had been on her face vanished in an instant. Shouldn’t she go? How could you do it in such a snappy fashion??
Instead of keeping her hands on his shoulders, she stepped forward to face him.
“It’s OK. ” The woman responded with a bow, “I’ll leave now,” and then she walked out of the room, her chest tightening with pain.
Over the ocean, in their coven, the Witches are safe from the seven mountains and their bloodsucking minions.
It was the moon goddess that bestowed stunning beauty and extraordinary abilities onto the witches, who were also known as holy mystery magicians.
Because Wolves and Vampires weren’t a part of their * ludicrous * government, they made it a rule to avoid interacting with them.
They picked a spot on the ocean floor so far away from land that it would take a human days of travel to reach any nearby mountains or caves. They were adamant about keeping their distance, and it seemed to have worked so far. But not before today.
To the horse stables Sucy, who had aided the King, rode through the gate.
Their conven was as grand as a castle, and like any palace, it was populated entirely by witches. In fact, males were never allowed inside the palace.
Many of Sucy’s sisters were out and about as she rode her horse, all wearing their signature red garments, some of which included hoodies. Everybody was simply going about their day like regular employees, some with baskets of clothing and others with baskets of supplies. Sister is the preferred term for use among the coven’s members.
Once Sucy reached the stables, she dismounted her horse. A pair of sisters was present at the stables to tend to the horses’ needs.
The pioneer among them cried out, “Sister Sucy,” with a cheery expression on her face. “You’ve returned.”
When Sucy saw Eva, she whispered, “Hi, Eva,” as she straightened her hoodie and walked into the main hall.
Though she did not hold the position of leader, Sucy was highly regarded by her other coven members owing to her supremacy and her proximity to the Queen.
She maintained an air of composure at all times, yet you wouldn’t want to lose her favor.
She continued to bow to the other sisters she met, and they continued to do the same to her. And at last she entered the hall commonly known as the Throne chamber.
The sister at the door greeted her with a “Sucy” as she entered.
“Greetings, Sister,” Sucy said with a polite grin. That’s where their monarch often remained. The Supreme Sister was the name given to the Witch Queen.
As Sucy looked up at her, Sucy saw her seated on her throne with a gold crown on her head.
stroked her bare feet like a muse.
The Supreme Sister, I bid you a warm welcome. When Sucy saw her, she welcomed her with a bow and a hello. Sister Darcy, the Queen, paused briefly before turning to grin at Sucy.
She looked younger than Sucy, although she was really older than Sucy.
She drewls, “Sucy.” It’s good to have you back. Took you two days to do that? “I apologize, Supreme Sister. The trip was bumpier than I had anticipated. I made it to the village without incident and helped the mother and baby. “The truth was something she lied about.
“I see. What you did was excellent; well done, Sucy. I was hoping you could pass along my respects. That was the question posed by the Big Sis.
The ultimate sister looked down at her feet for a moment, and there was a little pause.
“Sucy, I think it’s time for you to take a bath and lay low for a while. That was quite a long journey, so I can only imagine how exhausted you are. Come out when you’re done so we can take care of our errands. Her words.
Of course, High Priestess! Please wait a moment; I’ll be right back. Sucy bowed and then exited.
Standing in front of the mirror, King Spenser saw himself reflected as a king with his deep sea eyes.
Not shortly later, the door opened and his gamma walked in.
” my king,” Viscar said. “We must now go. “After a brief pause, King Spenser finally replied.
He said, “Let’s leave,” as he grabbed his sheath off the table and headed towards the exit.
My King,” Viscar interjected. “I, uh, just have a quick question: What are your plans for the woman once we get there?”
Spenser stopped what he was doing and gazed at the man. When I asked him what he thought, he said, “You’ll see when we get there,” in a chilly tone.
They got up and left, presumably to find the woman who had disobeyed his commands the day before.
Even Ella stopped what she was doing to listen in on the action. In the end, he was the one who had closed the door.
“Wh… Please explain. Just what is the issue here? Talk to me, would you…”
Aven took a deep breath and shook it off before continuing.
Mrs. Eva sprang to her feet instantly. Ella almost dropped the plates.
“The Royal Equine? ”
Mrs. Eva gave a loud shout.
“Where else might Royal horses come from?” Aven screamed.
Someone could ask, “Aven, have you gone nuts?” After a moment of silence, Lisa sputtered.
“I’m telling the truth! Believe me, I don’t think what I witnessed is a joke… “They heard the shattering of glass from the window and understood an arrow had been fired at them just as Aven was about to continue speaking.
