“Let’s get out of here,” The Doctor roused him from his reverie and started walking toward his horse.
Ella ran all the way to the home, so much so that she saturated the top of her dress with perspiration.
Still breathing heavily, her loved ones were taken aback when they saw her. It’s like, “She’s back!” Lisa screamed.
Then, her mom joined in the pursuit, and they sped up their approach.
“Do you have the leaves? ” Mrs. Eva enquired, her eyes bright with interest. With no more comment, Ella just gave her the leaves. She let out a startled cry, then turned back and handed Snow the leaves.
In the first room, only Lisa remained with Ella.
“Did anything interesting occur while you were gone?” Ella gently shook her head no and looked down at the ground as she was asked. A recounting of her encounter with the red-eyed wolf had crossed her mind, but she knew it would be pointless.
Lisa was aware of the cut on her arm, but she chose to ignore it. She grumbled, “For the first time in your life, you did something decent,” and walked away, as Ella climbed the stairs to her bedroom.
She went straight to her bedroom and sat on the bed, arms crossed over her legs, in a huddle. The memories were flooding back into her brain, making her feel very cold. One with bloodshot eyes. But what if it had been fatal to her? Or maybe hurt her??
It still hurt, she thought, as she examined the scrape on her arm. The scratch seemed inexplicable, so why did he do it? Is it supposed to indicate something?
She closed her eyes and laid her head against the wall, peering upward.
Eyes like a raccoon, she thought. Red eyes are a sure sign of an Alpha. What if the wolf was really an Alpha? The top dog?
She couldn’t believe she’d really spoken to the brutal King Spenser. It can’t be done.
What else, she wondered, could the color of his eyes have said. That wasn’t a nice thing at all.
The arrival of King Spenser was initially noticed by Queen Olivia. She had been seeing his arrival with his gamma and the guard from a nearby window. Hm. What, they’ve been back for a while now? As for where they may have ended up, nobody knows.
She had examined the King’s face closely and realized he was furious and dissatisfied. While astride that steed, Olivia saw that he looked just like his dad. Sadly, both of his parents had already died away.
However, what could possibly be wrong with him? He seemed to be staring in a peculiar direction. Hmph. It piqued her curiosity a little bit.
She had a momentary inclination to go appease the King, but she was aware of how dangerous he might be in a rage. Thus, she would have to wait for a while.
After he had calmed down a little, she would definitely utilize her amazing body on him. She knew she could always count on the King’s undivided attention in the bedroom. She would attempt to pry the truth from him as soon as he surrendered to her embrace.
She mumbled, stuffing her breasts back into her dress. “What are you looking for, exactly? What??? You refused to take any kind of nutrition and never stopped weeping. Can’t you see how much you’re annoying me? The sight of the infant, still whimpering in her arms, made her feel like she was about to explode.
She was always on the go.
“You refused to see me in your guy disguise but persist in making my life a living hell nevertheless. ”
Her personal maid Maria burst into the room in a flash, her head bent and clad in a set of hairy clothes.
the Queen’s room
Anger filled her voice as she told the maid, “Take this creature out of my side and know what she wants.” The woman grabbed the infant and walked out of the room without more word.
After getting from the bed, Natasha began pacing angrily back and forth across the room. She felt just bitterness; that was all she could feel.
She had a sense of being ignored and abandoned. The King refused to even acknowledge her existence. He hadn’t checked in on her or asked how she was doing since she went to bed.
Why? Just because she had a girl baby?
Do you think it was her responsibility for him to stop caring? Was it????
She moved to the window and faced it, her fury growing as a tear rolled down her cheek. She has been made fun of enough; she has been degraded to the point of no return.
Sure enough, she would recover and exact her vengeance. Those who mocked her would get a severe punishment.
Head hung low in dismay, gold belt in hand, King Spenser entered his newly renovated apartments.
It was unacceptable for a powerful Alpha like him to feel helpless and vulnerable like that, yet he couldn’t stop himself. All of his happiness has been taken from him.
He shuffled over to the side of the bed and sat there, his head buried in his hands.
What a terrible curse. Do you think it will be cracked at some point? Is there hope that he could overcome it? Who knew there would be so much resistance?
He growled as he thought back on all the terrible things the curse had done to him: the restless nights, the quick shifting, the fact that he could change into his wolf form at any time of the day, and the fact that his wolf form was too destructive.
The curse was causing him a lot of trouble, including the inability to have a son. And to think he’d started the day so optimistically, certain he could get rid of it. However, it seemed to be an insurmountable task.
