Fang’s mother, who can’t watch Fang’s self-destruction any longer, dials An Ya’s phone number again and says, “Yaya, the business about Ding Manman has to be addressed quickly. If it continues, Fang Hao’s health will be damaged sooner or later.”
Hearing her words, An Ya feels heartache and says, “I see, Auntie. I will schedule and effect it as soon as possible, and I may need your help then.”
Hanging up the phone, An Ya falls into deep thinking. After struggling for a while, she calls the project manager and says, ” You fell in love with Ding at first sight, didn’t you? She’s helpless. You can find a right opportunity for yourself. Hurry up. When Ding figures out your motivation with time going on, she will resign, and you won’t have another chance.”
“Ha ha, hush, hush, sweet Charlotte. I’m afraid Ding is in your way, which makes our distinguished Miss An spend so much time and energy dealing with her.” The project manager says casually.
Hearing this, An Ya realizes that the project manager wants to sound out some things between her and Ding, so as to catch her tripping. However, An Ya is not foolish, so how can she reveal her intention to an outsider?
So, An Ya replies, “I know you are a smart person. You should not know what you don’t know. After all, curiosity kills cats. Of course, if you don’t want to do it, you can refuse directly. I can find another one. Money talks.”
Hearing this, the project manager also feels under An Ya’s threat and says tactfully, “Miss An, what do you mean? It’s my honor to work for you, and I will live up to my mission.”
An Ya is very satisfied with his answer and hangs up the phone without showing respect to the project manager.
Finding the line becomes busy, the project manager knows that it’s An Ya who hangs up the phone. He realizes that he should destroy Ding quickly, otherwise it will make An Ya angry.
“Connect the internal line.” The project manager tells his assistant: “Circulate the news to all that our department will have dinner together tonight, and everyone must attend. No one is allowed to ask for leave.”
After receiving the news, Ding calls to inform An Ya that she might come back later this evening. In that way she thinks An Ya will not worry about her.
An Ya knows that the project manager is about to carry out his plan. This time, Fang and Ding are doomed to a thorough break-up.
In the evening, everyone rushes to the place for dinner, but no one is willing to go with Ding. Ding is helpless. When she is ready to go, the project manager drives his car and stops in front of her.
Rolling down the window, the project manager says, “It’s you, Ding. You walk there alone?”
Ding nods awkwardly, and then the project manager says, “Get in. I’ll go there too.”
Hearing his words, Ding simply believes that the project manager is really a nice person, so she gets on his car. They communicate a lot with each other along the way, which makes Ding trust him more and more.
When eating, everyone proposes a toast to Ding for various reasons in order to embarrass her. At the beginning, the project manager pretends to find excuses for Ding to avoid drinking alcohol. But later, he acts in collusion with them to toast Ding.
Ding didn’t drink before. So she is drunk quickly. She tries to keep sober with her strong mind. After a moment, her colleagues finish the dinner and are ready to leave. At the moment when the colleagues leave, Ding falls drunk on the table. The project manager removes his disguise and unfolds his grossly shitty character.
An Ya, who is in the next room, finds the opportunity is coming. She dials Fang’s phone, but he doesn’t answer it. So she has to call Fang’s mother. ” Aunt Fang, tell Fang Hao that I have found Ding Manman. She is at XXX Hotel. Tell him to come quickly, or we will have fewer opportunities if we miss the good play.”
When Fang’s mother hears this, she naturally dare not neglect it. She hurries to Fang’s room and wakes him up. Fang is still a little dissatisfied and complains, “Mom, what are you doing? Leave me to sleep.”
“Son, An Ya calls and says that she finds Ding. She asks you to go to XXX Hotel, or Ding will leave.” Fang’s mother says.
Hearing the news of Ding, Fang sits up immediately and rushes to XXX Hotel without cleaning himself up.
At the hotel, the project manager is putting his hands all over Ding who is too drunk to think. When Fang arrives, he sees it. However, from the perspective of Fang, Ding is totally voluntary to do that.
Seeing this, Fang is heartbroken and thinks, “Would Ding rather trash herself than see him?” Becoming furious, Fang goes over and gives the project manager a punch, and pulls Ding to the ground.
The pain makes Ding regain her consciousness temporarily. Seeing Fang, she is about to call him while Fang takes one step ahead and says: “Ding Manman, you are really a bitch. It’s disgusting that I treat you as a treasure.”
Ding wants to explain, but finally she can only move her lips.
Fang, who doesn’t hear Ding’s explanation, thinks that she acquiesces in his words. Then he can’t help laughing out, “Hahaha, I got you all wrong. Listen carefully! From now on, we have nothing to do with each other. In this regard, we don’t see each other anymore.”
Finishing his words, he slams the door behind and leaves.
Looking at Fang, who gradually disappears from her sight, Ding feels heartache. She soullessly tidies her clothes and leaves the hotel.
Walking out of the hotel, Ding is totally upset. She has no idea where to go, so she walks along the road all the time. On the way, she is almost hit by a car.
Ding involuntarily goes to An Ya’s residence. Evidently, she has taken this place as her home. Ding thinks alone and digs into her pocket but finds that she doesn’t take the key. So she calls An Ya and asks her to open the door.
Knowing Ding’s situation, how could An Ya miss such a chance to make the situation worse? She tells Ding that she is not at home and asks her to find a place to spend the night, and then she will give the key to her tomorrow.
Hearing the news, Ding scrolls through the contact list to find people she can resort to for help, but she fails. No one is willing to help her. Worse than that, she cannot book a room in hotels without her ID card.
In frustration, Ding goes to the park and finds a bench to sleep for one night.
