“Chelsea! Where the heck is my video game, what have you done with it, you crazy girl.” A fourteen years old Mason, yelled, rushing down the stairs, like a mad man.
“Mason, do not yell at your elder sister.” Michelle said, coming out of the kitchen.
“Well, I won’t be yelling, if Chelsea didn’t take my video game.” Mason said angrily. Michelle sighs, turns around to look at her 17 year old daughter, with a tired look. “Chelsea.” Michelle called.
Chelsea, who has been pretending, not to hear her brother voice, and concentrating on the TV, turns around to look at her mum, “Yes mum.” She answered, in a really innocent voice.
“Why did you take your brother video game.” Michelle asked, her both hands on her waist.
“Why don’t you asked him, why he put a dead frog in my school bag.” Chelsea spats out angrily.
Michelle turns to stare at her son, “did you put a dead frog, in your sister bag?.” She asked shocked, she should have gotten used to such thing, her children getting mischievous minute by minutes.
“Yes I did.” Mason answered shrugging his shoulders.
“But why, would you do that?.” Michelle exclaimed.
“Because I thought, that it would be funny, when she sees the frog and I was right, it was really funny.” Mason said, chuckling.
“I also thought, taking your video game would be really funny, and I’m right, it’s really is funny.” Chelsea said to her brother smugly.
“No it’s not. A dead frog in a girls bag is funny, but you taking a guy video game, it’s not funny.” Mason said angrily, Chelsea could literally see smiled coming out of his ear.
“Why is not kid brother. Putting a dead frog in my bag, was funny, only to you and me taking your video, is also funny, only to me.” Chelsea replied smartly.
“Mum!! Tell Chelsea should give me back, my video game.” Mason growled.
“Nope, don’t involve me in this, I just want to make my dinner, set the plate, so when your father comes back home, he could have his bath and then eat. Do not involve me in this. Mason a little tip, apologise to your sister, for the little prank you played on her, and then, she might return your video game.” Michelle said then walked back straight into the kitchen.
“Thanks mum for that, but just for us to be clear here, it wasn’t a little prank. It was a big one, a really big prank.” Chelsea yelled after her mum. She turns to look at her brother, with a taunting look, “So… Are you going to apologise or not?.”
“I will never apologise, to you. Never.” Mason replies her, with both his hands crossed on his chest.
“Okay… Then, I guess, I will just have to throw the video game away.” Chelsea said, shrugging her shoulders.
“You wouldn’t dare do that!.”Mason growled.
“Try my brother.”
“Ugh, fine. I am sorry!.” He yelled.
“Not with that sound, you are not. Apologise to me, in the right manner or it would be, bye bye, video game.” Chelsea said sweetly, biting her finger nails.
“I am sorry.”
“That is not loud enough bro, I need to hear you loud and clear.” Chelsea mocks her kid brother.
“I said that, I am sorry.” Mason repeated.
“What exactly, are you apologising for bro. Cause I have actually forgotten, so be specific bro.”
Mason hands balls into a fist, glaring at his sister, angrily. “I sk sorry sis, for putting a dead frog in your bag.”
“Now, that is better. Search for your video game in the garden. By bro.” She blow him a kiss and then catwalks away.
Michelle who was in the kitchen chuckled. This is her kids, her crazy kids. Oh well… Her husband would soon be back from work, she better get the food ready, wouldn’t want to starve him. Her husband, is her life.
