“Hey I bought you something to drink, it’s actually a cold juice. You know to help you cool down and chill down a little bit.” Sophie said tryimg to joke around, Michelle only looked up and smiled at her, and then mouthed the word, *thanks.*
“Here have it.” Sophie said to Michelle giving her the glass of drin k that’s in a tray, Michelle takes the juice from her and gulped it all down.
“So what are you going to do now.” Sophie asked, sitting down on the bed, next to Michelle.
“What else can I do? I just have to move on with my life. I can’t go grovelling on the ground, begging Xander Collins to take me back. No, I won’t do that, this is his choice and so, I won’t beg him. I’ve already lost enough dignity, I won’t let that happen ever again.”
“But, don’t you think your child has a right to have his dad in his life.” Sophie asked her, fully aware of the fact that’s she is threading on a thin rope.
“He was the one who questioned the paternity of this child, he is the one who doesn’t want to be in his child life. He made that decision Sophie, and so that is his problem not mine. I’m going to keep ny child and take care of him or her, all by myself.” Michelle said determined.
“Are you sure, you are ready for this. Like, taking care of a child, it’s really a lot of hard work and not to talk about the expenses of taking care of the child alone. What are you going to do about that?.” Sophie asked her friend, really concerned.
“I know all about that Sophie, I am well aware of the fact that I would need money to take care of me and my child. I’ll just have to find a job, that’s all.” Michelle was already planning her future in her head and one thing was so sure, Xander wasn’t part of her plan.
“Not to kill your give but, have you forgotten what happened all the time you tried to get a job. It’s either you end up beating your boss or you go all crazy on them. Or do you want me to remember you, how you might Xander Collins.” She asked with a duh face, and I smiled remembering the incidents I had with Xander. How I slapped him, how he locked me up in jail, and then he asked to be his maid, all the troubles I gave to him, however began to date and my one week turned to a month and finally, how I became pregnant and he questioned who the father of the child is. I shouldn’t be thinking of things like this.
“Don’t worry about it Sophie, I’m no longer that crazy and besides a baby it’s involved, so I’m going to be on my best behavior and give all my employees a very good smile.” Michelle said forcing a smile on her lips.
“If you say so, just know I’m here for you, I am always here for you.” Sophie said and hugged her best friend really tight.

Months later✨✨✨
Mitchell was able to get a job and Xander tried to move on with his life without seeing Michelle in his house everywhere around him. At first it was hard for him, it was hard for him not to think of her but he buried himself day after day in documents.
He tried thinking of anybody else but the crazy girl that once lived in his house but everything became so hard for him, she has been installed in his memory so he knew the only thing he could do was to leave leave the country, for a few days burn himself more in some project work that needs to be done outside the Country.
He was so sure, he would be able to get Michelle Sylvester of his memory cause, he doesn’t want to have anything to do with her or the child she’s carrying.
On the day he was going to travel, was the same day Michelle was going to give birth.
Melissa knocked on brother’s door really hard, normally she would open the door without knocking but this past few days, that went by, she had become more of a stranger to her brother.
Xander who was already prepared to travel came and open the door for her. “What are you doing here Melissa, and please if you are here to talk about Michelle then I’m not interested.” Xander said sighing, already knowing the few visits his sister even did was always about Michelle.
“I am here to let you know that today, Michelle will be giving birth to your child, now if you have any heart at least, you would come to the hospital to see her and your child. But, anyway it’s ok if you don’t want to do that. I will be leaving now.” Melissa was about turning around when she saw the luggage beside her brother.
“Why are you having a bag in your hand.” Melissa asked her brother, staring at the travelling bag intently.
“I am traveling, infact I’m on my way to the airport.” He informed her casually.
“Wow, and when do you plan on coming back.” Melissa asked, “I don’t know yet, maybe next month or maybe in a year or two, I don’t know sis.” He answered shrugging.
“So you are traveling on the day, Michelle is giving birth to your child. Wow, just wow. Well I wish you luck. And oh the name if the hospital is saint Mark, you shouldn’t be able to miss it. If you feel like it, you can stop by.” Melissa shakes her head at him sadly and then walked away.

Michelle could be seen laying down on a hospital bed crying her lungs out, as the doctor asks her to push. She pushed with all her strength, sweat drizzling down her face, excruciating pain going through her body.
She wished Xander was here with her, she wished he was here to help her ease the pain, she wish he was right there with her, to hold her hand and talk her through the pain. She wished he was right there by her side, holding her hand and giving her words of encouragement.
“You can do it, I can see the child head already, just push some more. You can do it ma’am, you can do it.” The doctor encourage her, Michelle used the lady strength in her and pushed the baby out, with a loud groan.
“Wow, it’s a baby girl.” The nurse said, taking the baby in her arms.
She placed the baby girl in Michelle’s outstretched hand, Michelle smiled happily, staring at her beautiful baby face, she kissed the baby’s forehead, sighing with contentment.
