Fight (1)

Book:Crazy Billionaire's Maid Published:2024-5-1

One week, one freaking week and the both of them won’t even seat on the same dinning area. Michelle felt she was right and so there’s no need for her to apologise, Xander also felt he is right and he is not the one to apologise but Michelle. He bought her clothes, expensive clothes, shoes, jewelries and bags, so she has to be grateful to him.
They both felt a little bit sad, staying in the same house but acting like strangers. Perhaps, she should apologise but how does she go about it without feeding his already big ego. *If I say sorry to him, then he will go on thinking that’s he is right, when he’s not. Argh, what do I do now.* Michelle thinks, biting her lower lip, deep in thoughts.
Michelle decided to seek help from her friend Sophie, and so she dialled Sophie’s number, pacing around the room worriedly, she wants nothing else but to fix her new found relationship with Xander.
“Hello Mich, what’s up.” Sophie voice comes through her phone speaker. “Sophie I need your advice, I need your help ” Michelle said biting her lower lip.
“Okay… What’s going on.” Sophie asks her concerned, sensing her friend is worried.
“Xander and I had a fight, and he is really angry at me, and I’m also angry at him, and I do….”
“And now you want to apologise but you do not want to be the first to apologise because you don’t want him thinking he is right and that you are wrong.” Sophie breaks it down, cutting her friend off.
“Well… You are right.” Michelle agrees.
“Come on, tell me what happened.” Sophie said sighing, really loud.
“Okay, so…. Xander took me out, bought me clothes, jewelries, bags, shoes and they were all expensive and not to talk about the fact he bought them really plenty, I won’t even be able to wear all of them in a year, he was just picking anything he lays his eyes on. And so when we came back from shopping, I simply told him that everything was really too much, and that he shouldn’t have bothered himself buying all those stuffs and that’s all I said, and he flared up. Xander really got angry, saying I was been ungrateful, he called me ungrateful Sophie! He called me ungrateful!! arghhh. We ended the day in a fight, and since then we haven’t talked, it’s been a week now Sophie, a week!.” Michelle cried out, so tired of the fight between her and Xander.
“You have to understand that he is a man, Michelle. Of course he will be angry, what did you expect. It looks like you have forgotten that Xander used to be a very stinging man and now that he was able to bring his self to shop all those stuffs for you, all you could do was tell him, it was too much. Of course it would make him feel mad, buying you those clothes was his way of showing you how much he loves you.” Sophie explained, “but I don’t want him showing how much he loves me by buying expensive stuffs, that are really much. Gosh, the stuff he bought is really plenty.” Michelle complained, trying to still prove her point.
“I get where you are coming from, but you also have to understand Xander.”
“Okay, fine. Just tell me what I should do, to put an end to this stupid fight.” Michelle sighed, rubbing the wrinkles on her forehead, “I will tell you what to do, only if you give me an answer to a question have been asking myself ever since I left Xander’s house.”
“Okay, fine. The ghost wasn’t real, Xander and I pranked you.” Michelle confessed, knowing that’s the answer her friend wants.
“What, I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. But why did you prank me.” Sophie asked, confused.
“Because you and Melissa pranked me and Xander, this was our way of getting back at the both of you.” Michelle said in a duh tone, “Ugh, but if we didn’t prank the both of you then the both of you won’t be inlove, right now.” Sophie defends.
“Nope, haven’t you heard of the saying, *What is meant to be will be.” Michelle asks boredly, chewing on her finger nails lazily.
“Don’t sass me, Michelle.” Sophie warns, her voice harsh and motherly.
“Sorry mum. Now tell me what to do, to get my Xander back.” She frowns, even though her friend clearly her friend couldn’t see her at the moment.
“I will, only if you apologize for pranking me. Ever since I left, I’ve been sleeping with my Bible, and any little noise I hear, I freak out and it’s all because of you and Xander.” Sophie accused, Michelle could sense she’s glaring at her phone, imagining her face on it.
“Fine, I’m sorry. I’ve apologise, now can you tell me what to do.?.”
“That’s not really a sincere apology, but fine I will tell you what to do. All you have to do is….” Sophie goes on to give her a really good plan, that won’t make her apologise first but also repair the relationship between Michelle and Xander.
“Wow, thank you so much Sophie.” Michelle appreciates, then hung up.

Xander came back home, really tired from work. He had a busy day at work, he had to immense his self in work, so he could take Michelle off his mind, now all he wants is to head straight to his room, have his bath and go to sleep.
He sniffed the air, wondering where the heck is the wonderful scent of grilled fish with grilled lemon, coming from. He followed the scents to the dinning room, where the food is laid out on the dinning table.
Xander met Michelle sitting on the dinning table, eating from a plate of salmon grilled fish, with grilled lemon.
“What’s going on here.” He asked,  his eyes solely on the grilled fish on the that’s laid out on a big tray at the center of dinning table.
“Well… Since a certain person has refused talking to me, I decided to keep myself some company and it’s with grilled fish and grilled lemon, so delicious.” Michelle moaned, cutting a part of the fish and then eats it.
“What are you doing.” Michelle asks Xander, as he walks over to the dinning table to the dinning table, drawing out one of the dinning chairs.
“What do you think.” Xander replied, sitting down.
“I’m sorry, Xan-der, but you can’t eat it. Remember, we are fighting, and you can’t eat the food I cooked, or you will choke on it. It’s either you apologise or you leave my grilled fish, alone.” Michelle looked him straight in the eye, her lips curling into a wicked smirk.
“You’ve got to be kidding, I’m never apologising to you, you are supposed to apologise to me not the other way around.” Xander growled a little bit, getting up from his seat.
“Yeah, that’s never happening, I’m never ever going to apologise to you Xander Collins.” Michelle, sipped on her wine watching him with a glint in her eyes. She prepared grilled fish with grilled lemon, cause she heard from a certain person called Melissa, it’s Xander’s favorite food.
Xander glared at the grilled fish, controlled his appetite and walked away. “You are going to apologise to me Xander Collins, I will make sure of it.” Michelle said grinning.
*************
Xander walked out of the bathroom, dripping wet. He stopped on his tracks, on seeing Michelle laying on the bed, in just a red sexy lingerie, sleeping. “Who the heck sleeps in a sexy red lingerie.” Xander asks out loud, glaring at Michelle’s naked butt, showing off under the sexy red lingerie.
He muttered some words under his breath and goes over to sleep on the couch, he us not going to let her win, and he will definitely not apologise to her.
